[[All right, so. It's hard to discuss the current situation given what's going on here, but I promise you, Tetra/Yellow, we're not talking out of our asses.
It is possible that Sind is telling the truth and AbraPunk is still lover. It is also possible that AbraPunk is telling the truth and Sind isn't. But for several reasons I doubt this; I think mafia lovers are extremely unlikely to be a thing, and revealing aspects of Sind's previous actions corroborate her story, so long as you're picking up what the story is.
I think one of the most interesting things to analyze about the AbraPunk/Homestar debacle is that, assuming Homestar is telling the truth about the bulletproof gambit, the mafia probably would have assumed that he was legitimately the town rolecop and had a legitimate serial killer check on AbraPunk, unless AbraPunk was mafia. In either case, the mafia, in that situation, would have a vested interest in going for the Homestar train over the AbraPunk train, once there were doubts about Homestar to speak of, while up to that point probably acting in favor of eliminating AbraPunk (either because they assume she's legitimately the serial killer and want her gone, or because if AbraPunk gets lynched and turns out to be scum, which seems very likely when there's an apparent redcheck on her, you really don't want to have been defending her the whole time for nebulous reasons). (If Abra is the serial killer, they want them both gone, but if there's a legitimate claimed rolecop who just caught genuine scum, they will probably be targeted by doctors if they survive the day and require a juggernaut kill, whereas the mafia would merrily be able to nightkill presumed serial killer AbraPunk after eliminating Homestar.)
I don't think that Tetra casting suspicion on Homestar almost immediately is suspicious; I'm pretty sure I know why, and I think it'd be a super bold move for the mafia to immediately seize on a claimed power role instead of the scum they're claiming to have caught. Initially people were skeptical of Tetra's suspicions and I doubt mafia would have boldly chipped in to agree at that stage. Assuming my notes are right, Chibi was one of the first people to voice agreement with Tetra's suspicion of Homestar, then Inkedust chimed in to say they were both suspicious in a bit of a waffly way. I don't think Chibi comes off badly there by being the first person to decisively agree with what at first glance seems like pretty aggressive tunneling; Inkedust looks a bit worse, possibly testing the waters on agreeing with the possibility and seeing if anything comes of it while still hedging on it? Then things went on for a while with people mostly voting AbraPunk. Eventually Persephone unvotes AbraPunk "until I have more time to think about this", Sinderella says she's 50/50 on voting either of them, but overall people are still on AbraPunk.
Then Shiny Phantump rereads Tetra's early bit about the serial killer supposedly showing up as vanilla to a rolecop, which had originally been kind of dismissed, and switches to Homestar on that basis. At this point most everyone else (except Tetra and Chibi) has been very hedgy about the possibility and not actually placing a vote for Homestar, so this also strikes me as something that'd be a pretty bold move for scum. On the other hand, shortly afterwards Persephone switched to Homestar, then Sinderella although she unvotes soon afterwards, then HelloYellow17. At this point unrepentantAuthor pushes back on the Homestar train, which I think is a very towny move at this stage, pointing out we don't necessarily know how it's being GMed. windskull agrees with that but still maintains suspicion of Homestar, holding off on changing her vote while implying she might.
What I'm all in all getting from this progression is a slight side-eye on Inkedust, Persephone, HelloYellow17 and maybe windskull? Sinderella looks fairly bad off this too but the current debacle has me convinced she must be town regardless. Obviously being suspicious of Homestar in and of itself doesn't mean you're mafia; there were good reasons. But it was exactly the sort of vote train that I think the mafia would have wanted to encourage, without taking too aggressive a part in pushing it along.
Other vague suspicions: Equitial has been contributing essentially nothing, which I found surprising given his experience, although he did stick firmly with AbraPunk throughout, which might be somewhat to his credit (although a smart mafia would avoid all jumping on a train they want to push along anyway). AbraPunk looks quite bad if I believe Sinderella, which for the moment I do. TheGOAT has posted a few times but literally the only game-relevant contribution in it was just randomly coming in to immediately claim vanilla town? Which may just be a newbie move but strikes me as not really trying to help, especially given how much discussion had been going on at the time he posted it. Bluwiikoon has been a lot of nothing gameplay-wise, too, despite making a bunch of posts, although it breaks my heart to suspect poryfriend in any way. (I do think Homestar's logic for suspecting him is total nonsense, though - if anything, if one was going to make night action decisions based on RP, I'd think one would make them in-character decisions, rather than going out of one's way to make them out of character on some wild assumption that people would be convinced of the reverse. Like, last game I picked my largely arbitrary N0 target based on what was in character. It would never have occurred to me to galaxy brain that people would assume that for some reason and go for something else.)
My overall readlist at the moment:
Definitely town
Hana (assuming what I've been picking up on is correct, and I'm pretty sure it is)
Salem (strongly town reaction to the Mike train)
Probably town
Hazel (helpful, bold)
Ebony (again, helpful and bold, though the dogposting obscures the reasoning a bit)
Mike (bulletproof claim just makes significantly more sense to me than any version where he's mafia)
Clovis (again, I'm pretty convinced here)
Null

Steven
Vaguely suspicious
