"My world is very similar to this one, so I think it does!" they exclaimed.

"Well, that's just great!" Pansit said with a beaming smile.

She continued the interview from there, asking about little things about Saltriv's life or the world the Meganium had come from. And by the time it was over, Pansit had a few pages of notes to translate to an article later. She nodded, saying, "Well, thank you for the interview, Saltriv! I've got a lot of information here... And good luck with the fight. I'll be cheering you on!"

 

[IFBench]

"Thank you, too!" Saltriv said, swaying their leaf to the side. "We'll defeat the Eternal Blacklight! I'm sure of it!"

[Sudmensch]

In his excitement over the recent development concerning his fate, Dill remembered to duck on the way in just a bit too late, conking his head on the doorframe as usual as he entered. Rubbing at his head and thanking the powers that be for his thick skull, he stepped aside as best he could to let Saltriv past, still grinning wide.

 

[IFBench]

Saltriv walked past, smiling brightly still. Their closest friend here was saved, and they couldn't be happier.

"We really did it!" they exclaimed, their tail wagging in their excitement.

 

[Navar]

"Hey, y'all."

Shiron waved, laying down on the couch. The two seemed lively. "How's it hangin'? You guys sure look chirpy. Everything good?"

 

[Sudmensch]

"Y-yeah! It... we just... yeah, everything's great!" Dill nodded.

 

[IFBench]

"Yep!" Saltriv said, nodding as well. "Everything's amazing!"

 

[Navar]

"Did you guys find the ultimate treasure or somethin' like that?" Shiron chirped, sitting down.

"What happened exactly?"

 

[Sudmensch]

"It's, uh... a bit of a long story," Dill said. "Uh, basically, I was gonna just die once I got sent back to my world, but we found out how to stop it, a-and I'm gonna live now! I'm gonna go back with Sal to their world!"

 

[Navar]

"Huh, you can do that?" Shiron asked, his eyes sparkling with joy(and somewhat jealously). He beamed and went in for a hug."

 

[IFBench]

"Yep! We asked the Overseer that came here to help, and we convinced them to let Dill be sent back to my world instead!" they said as they swayed their leaf to the side, before joining the hug.

 

[Sudmensch]

Dill could only accept the embrace, crushing the two in his own return hug.

 

[Navar]

"G-Gah!" Shiron cringed from the force, but returned the hug thightly. "Congrats, dude!"

 

[Sudmensch]

"S-sorry! Just!" Dill piped, letting the two go.

 

[IFBench]

Saltriv yelped as they were hugged by Dill, breathing out as they were let go.

"I understand!" they said, their smile returning to their face. "Just...you give really crushing hugs."

 

[Sudmensch]

"Yeah. Still not quite used to that," Dill chuckled, suddenly perking up. "Shiron! Hey, if I can swap worlds, do you think we could meet again after all this?" he asked, his tail wagging a bit.

 

[Navar]

"I-I hope we can...!" Shiron said, cheering and raising his arm.

"Though I probably won't look like this if we do. Gotta go back to being a human, I guess."

 

[IFBench]

"I really hope we can, too!" Saltriv said, laying a vine on Shiron. "And I think it'd be really cool to meet you as a human!"

 

[Sudmensch]

"Yeah... I don't know, humans are cool, and you'd still be you! We could still hang out!" Dill reasoned.
