Nate asks Diyem whether he has any idea what they can do about the fact that the blacklight mewtwo apparently contains Telum's dark matter. If they manage to get the mewtwo free of the dark matter's control, is he going to cause problems just... hanging out in Diyem's Voidlands? Would he be able to manipulate them or escape or something?

Diyem isn't sure what will happen, but he suspects that Blacklight Mewtwo will be the least dangerous while in his Voidlands for the time being. He has been monitoring him carefully, and would alert the team if something else happens. Unlike when he was in Chip's lab, Diyem is able to keep a proper analysis on him.

Does Diyem think there's any chance of working together with Telum's dark matter?

Luz asks Diyem whether Dark Matters can vary significantly and whether he has any insights into how Telum's DM might be 'accepted'. Further to that, can a Dark Matter be split into different parts, i.e. is Maple only Shadow-corrupted or does she have part of DM's 'soul'?

"There are a lot of uncertainties at play. I don't know. But I have an idea... if Maple accepts my proposal."

Rocky goes out looking for Red and asks whether he'd like to come to the Voidlands to try and free the blacklight mewtwo. He relates Karat's story of how the Red of his world was able to help Karat get free of Giovanni, and also tells Red that Diyem thinks it would be safe for him to go to the Voidlands in general, but nobody's sure what the blacklight mewtwo or the parasite might do. It probably won't be the safest situation.

There is a determined look in Red's eye, and he seems willing to help, despite the risk. His Pokemon, too, have the same resolute expression.

Brisa asks Owen what he knows about how Zekrom fights. The other Tao dragons too, if he has any insights there.

Owen seems to know a lot about the trio, but he also warns that they would probably be too difficult to take on more than one at a time--even at our best. Zekrom's main ability is that she seems to always be in her ideal form in battle; attempts at lowering her capabilities seem to wash right off, and she also seems very resistant to ailments in general. It is impossible to bring Zekrom below her neutral state.

Meanwhile, Reshiram had only once been seen in the Colosseum recently, and Owen had to read up on it for the rest. Apparently, Reshiram can see the Truth of his foes--any attempts to raise defenses by hardening their bodies, or raising their resistance to energy attacks, simply don't work when Reshiram is attacking. Defensive buffs have no effect.

But perhaps the most terrifying is Kyurem. Owen had to work with Puff and Cream for this one, but he learned that Kyurem's Nihil Aura ignores when the user raises their offenses. Howling, Swords Dance... it doesn't matter against Kyurem. It's as if they're at zero.

Cynthian gears up to buckle with Sunny in the colosseum. Not wanting to be careless, she consults Owen the everymon if he has any insights on how Sunny might approach a fight. She asks for tips on how to fend off against her and also what to look out for.

Owen remarks that Sunny hasn't been seen in fights, but she radiates an aura of mysterious power. She has more vitality than perhaps any mortal Pokemon in all of Cibus, and she seems to have the protection of the cosmos swirling around her. She could, perhaps, use any technique the astral plane can provide...

Icetales consulted the billboard by the Colosseum, checking for some opponent that he might be able to handle… alone.

It is difficult to find opponents that would fall to just Icetales as he stood--with no offensive capabilities, there is little in a means to defeat them.

Petram, meanwhile, keeps learning how to bake new desserts and kinds of bread. He even checked out on Toast once he learned that there was a living bread around the town, and wondered if he liked jam or chocolate cream, or… anything that a living bread could like.

Toast has a preference for meat. He is having trouble differentiating between living and dead meat. Thankfully, he is also mostly harmless.

Ivy wants to hang out with Mew again in Lively Town and calls Nutmeg with her badge to ask what Mew would want because Cynthian told her that she should bring Mew a gift.

Ivy doesn't know what to bring Mew and after spending ten minutes thinking hard, she really needs help so she doesn't mess up. She makes that very clear to Nutmeg in the call.

Nutmeg seems dismissive, but remarks that Mew would probably prefer kinetic toys that she can touch and throw. But they'd also have to be very durable, and Mew probably also would lose interest quickly anyway.

Scrafty asks Owen about fake S'more's combat ability. For funsies. And whether or not fake S'more would be stupidly unbeatable or not. Also for funsies.

Koa tries as casually as possible to ask Owen about Giratina. What are they like in battle? What are their strengths and what's their battle style?

He also checks in on Xernatus and asks Xerneeling and Pop about what kind of place Xernatus might have on Cibus.

Brisa visits Team Spice, humours the kids with some sparring (holding back enormously, of course), and gives the parents a heads up that she and Starr are looking to throw down with them next, after their recent victory against Team Drumstick~

Luz spends time with Cal, just to have some fun. Hopefully she's not too aggrieved by the latest Ultra Shade revelations...

Owen says in no uncertain terms that S'more is not someone who can be taken on alone very easily, fake spirit or not.

Koa tries as casually as possible to ask Owen about Giratina. What are they like in battle? What are their strengths and what's their battle style?

Nothing gets past Owen, but he humors the question anyway. Giratina is not seen in the arena often, but she apparently can be very hard to hit, potentially avoiding three strikes in a full exchange without much effort at times. Along with that, she can distort the world and make fighting her a disorienting feat.

He also checks in on Xernatus and asks Xerneeling and Pop about what kind of place Xernatus might have on Cibus.

Xernatus is doing fine enough; Xerling is not, and constantly complains about his small size and feeble body. Pop says that he isn't sure what Xernatus can do, but he was wondering if he would be interested in making a Tree of Life parallel in the Reverse World. It was an idle thought, and Xernatus seems apprehensive, but Pop and Cola agree that even if Xernatus is an abominable parasitic body-snatcher aberration, he still deserves a chance, especially since he isn't hostile any longer.

Thyme and Pepper seem hesitant at first, but then agree, and Pepper remarks that she's a lot stronger when battling alongside Thyme.

Cal's mood is better than it used to be, but something still seems to be bugging her. When pressed, though, she's dismissive. She has been spending more time with Owen than usual.

"He's just so small, with those tiny little arms and that teddy bear physique. I gotta have at least a ballpark figure of how strong he is or I'm gonna go insane."

Koa regularly attends colosseum matches with Brisa, and likes listening to her thoughts about strategy. He's also gotten back to training with her regularly, though he's cautious about using shadows in particular.

Echo and Luz hang out sometimes, and frequent various restaurants. After finding out Luz likes to take on small rescue missions, he sometimes goes to help, using his echolocation and excellent hearing to assist.

Echo also now loves Brisa after discovering she likes honey.

Scrafty insists that they know that, but still wants to know what S'more's like, combat wise.

As far as they can tell, S'more operates by fighting quickly and accurately, but his actual attack power isn't as strong as others that he'd seen. Still, he seems ready for anything, and might have more techniques than the average elite.

Nate badgers Rocky into writing him a letter to take to Karat. If Karat shows up right away when he visits, he'll relate the news about the mewtwo to him in person; if not, he'll leave the letter by the edge of his psychic barrier to pick up later if he'd like.

The letter Rocky wrote says this:

"Hi, Karat! Do you still want to be called Karat? Or Deoxys? Do you have a new name now? Anyway, Marshtomp wanted you to know that we got the parasite out of Giovanni's mewtwo. He was really weak, but Diyem says he should be okay. Thanks for your help. Marshtomp says he can let you know when the other mewtwo wakes up, or bring him by sometime, if you're interested. Marshtomp thinks talking to you might be good for him. That's it! Thanks again. I hope you and Deoxys are doing good. Bye!"

Rocky goes to thank Red for joining them in the Voidlands and helping with the mewtwo. He brings some treats for Red's pokémon and berries for Red, too.

He also lets Red know, if he didn't know, that Silver and his team are staying in the same house as him and Nate and Starr. Red's welcome to visit anytime! And his pokémon, too. Maybe Pikachu would want to stop by sometime?

After the talk with his sisters and walking around for a bit, Petram returned home. He needed time to figure out what to say to Daddy and fearing the reaction he would have received upon showing his new aspect. Though, after swallowing a gallon of courage, he met Daddy… and he was welcomed with open tails.

“I do not care if thou art a Zoroark now. Thou art still my son, Petram.”

The two foxes spent the rest of the afternoon together in the kitchen, with Petram learning how to cook with his new paws and Icetales brewing some tea.

That was time to celebrate, and they shared their moment with their housemates Astrid, Cuicatl, the other shades and Red, too.

Cynthian checks up on Cresselia after learning Giovanni, another lunar pokemon, had reacted to the moon's destruction uniquely. Cynthian wonders what the moon's destruction felt like and if she may have gotten any weird visions of what happened just in case.

She then asks Cresselia again if she's okay and after making sure of either case, the conversation shifted to mundane topics which included what Cresselia's relationship is with Darkrai exactly, whether they often work as a team and what their specialties are.

Afterwards Cynthian visits resident appraisal charizard Owen to further glean on Cresselia and Darkrai's combat capabilities, what to be prepared for and what battle approach can pull the rug under them whether it be to fight aggressive, draw things out or something else.

Though, they did not appear to be very interested in replying to any questions about combat. Darkrai and Cresselia appeared to have grown quite close since Darkrai's dark era those decades ago.

Afterwards Cynthian visits resident appraisal charizard Owen to further glean on Cresselia and Darkrai's combat capabilities, what to be prepared for and what battle approach can pull the rug under them whether it be to fight aggressive, draw things out or something else.

Owen doesn't have a lot of information on them. While Legends, Cresselia is not particularly adept at fighting, and Darkrai usually avoids fighting. Owen does know, however, that Darkrai specializes in Sleep, and negative effects that come with his general aura when that happens.

Saltriv has been writing in their journal they got from Pansit almost every day since they got it, barring circumstances that would prevent them from doing so. It now contains a journal entry for almost every day they've been part of Team Spectrum.

Brisa, burnt-out and emotionally frayed, takes a vacation with Starr. They go wilderness camping together. The experience is very much like how Brisa spent many of her nights back in her world, but doing it with someone she loves makes it an entirely different experience altogether. She comes back well rested and full of motivation.

Luz tries to make up for lost time cataloguing mortal experiences she couldn't previously enjoy on the sensory level, and takes other Void Eternas with her at every opportunity.

Vix decides to ask Buffet about what he felt at Spirit's Edge when she last visited with Saltriv and Dill, and what thoughts Buffet might have on what the cause might be.

Buffet isn't sure, and suspects it has something to do with Saltriv's world rather than anything to do with their current situation.
