At Koa's request he does what he can to see if anyone is acting odd - God Squad, Spectrum, or even just Cibus natives.
With no real person to focus on, there wasn't a lot of meaningful information to discern.
Puddle decides to go find out more about Pop, taking a trip to the library to read anything and everything on him. It was a pain to sit there, reading, for what felt like forever... But Puddle pulled through.
Pop is generally well-regarded in a lot of texts within Destiny Village's library, but it was mentioned as well that he had only (relatively) recently woken up from a long slumber, along with many of the other gods. Though after cross-referencing this with knowledge from others, this seemed to be normal for many worlds like Cibus.
Raven returns to Destiny Village for a while. She talks with Owen a lot, when she's not staying with Mellow. She also asks around about Jirachi.
Owen speaks of Jirachi as an entity with an odd fondness, but also remarks that he probably doesn't have any relevance to what's going on with the Blacklight crisis. He apparently lives on the Water Continent with the Dark Matter Omen Heroes.
Nate will go back to Chip's lab to see whether Chip can arrange for Jirachi to take some pictures of the moon through one of his higher-powered telescopes, focusing on the area that had previously been found to have the weird black mark.
Jirachi says that it would take some time to process the image, but he found something there that even he could see, suggesting that at least part of that dark splotch is something unrelated to Shadows or Radiance. But it required a serious zoom-in to get any details. Whatever they are, they're moving... Attempts to teleport there all failed. Deoxys considered flying to the moon, but got such a horrible feeling halfway there that he turned back.
While he's there, he'll also check on whether Chip has found anything interesting out about Sword's core and how progress on the power suppressors is going.
Sword's Core was amazing! He found that Shades might still be able to hide in it, but only partially. Cores seemed to be used like spare shells for a Dwebble, but he wasn't sure what their entire purpose would be. Something about the Core changes an aspect of a Shade... but Darkwhite's Core reacted differently. After showing it to Buffet, and then comparing it to the broken Core of Millijoule, there was a difference.
Darkwhite's Core was not properly activated in the same way the Ultra Shades were. Darkwhite's Core had some kind of different treatment. They can only theorize that it was because the source power was not a Shade, but Sword's spirit.
Then what did that mean for the Shades?
