Hello everyone! Call me Poly or Polychrome! I love pokepastas (and gamepastas in general) that think outside the box and/or are super experimental. Examples of this would be HAPPY_HARDCORE_HEXIDREAM by tonyboyy, Cheap Figures by Netscapenavigaytor, Utter Ruin by Bandtrees, and pcb0000 by Bluwiikoon! Some of my favorite pokemon are the Porygon line, the Solosis line, the Espurr line, glitchmon/betamon, and many more!

name im lichhen, any iteration of the name, also a bunch of other names. pretty much any name. im name-fluid u_o~*

pokemon i grew up with pokemon, starting with Pokemon Blue in 1996 when i was a kid. i've been writing about pokemon since 1999. i had an awesome experience growing up, roleplaying pokemon on a forum with a wonderful community of queer people. When I was a kid i channeled heavy gay & trans Gary Oak energy ou~ i've written pokemon fanfic here and there.
i also like to draw pokemon for fun. i post some on tumblr. aporic.tumblr.com
fave pokemon is a lot of them but i'll stick with one and say metapod my beloved perfect in every way
searching for fanfic! i am extremely interested in reading pokemon fanfic that is centered around lgbtqia characters and/or disabled characters. if a fanfic has this simple qualification, then i will absolutely check it out.
my personal content preferences one thing i would like folks to understand is that i cannot read & will need to skip anything involving hetero romance or anything heteronormative. i have diagnosed cptsd and i have a physical reaction that keeps me from reading those scenes. i don't mind talking about this if people have questions. there is nothing wrong with those subjects, i just personally cannot enjoy it. this is why i prefer stories that center queer characters.

My name is Railgun! Or Jen, if you want to call me by a nickname. I'm actually on the Discord server and it was just recently I started joining more Pokémon communities. I am very shy and introverted, but I am trying to come out of my shell more. So, I decided to make an account on the forum too! I am your ordinary Hispanic cis woman who loves writing. Due to how hectic my life can be, seeking comfort through fanfiction and even regular writing has helped a lot!
I got into the Pokémon franchise by watching the anime as a child. Then, the games about ten years ago. My first game was HeartGold and it has left a mark on me ever since. The Johto region opened up an entirely new world to me and I ended up playing most titles in the series. It has a special place in my heart and is my second favorite Nintendo franchise, behind Fire Emblem.
As for fanfiction, I have been writing as a kid but I didn't join the online world until 2009 on fanfiction.net. I have written for a bunch of other franchises before, but for these past few years, Pokémon has my grip.
Now I'll admit I have an affinity for romance and shipping. For some reason, my odd brain tends to lean toward rare pairings... especially for this franchise. Therefore, I write on that a lot (mostly one-shots), but on occasion... I will write a general fic or two. I love the human characters in the series so I tend to write a lot about the Gym Leaders and Champions. If that tickles your fancy you are more than welcome to check out my work, which I will post here soon. I also have my Ao3 and FF.net accounts if you want to read them there!
When it comes to reading, I do have a preference for Gym Leader, Elite Four, and or Champion fics. But, I am open to other fics. Like with OCs or just Pokémon itself. Hell, I'll throw in if you know fanfiction about legendary Pokémon encounters... I'll read those. I'll even narrow down some specific things below.

I started with charmander on Red Version in 1998. Still a fire-type enthusiast.
The anime and Pokemon The First Movie were incredibly important to me as a kid. "What you do with the gift of life determines who you are" is still one of my favorite quotes. Also I can still recite the entire pokerap from memory.
I adore both reading and writing romance stories and developing friendships that become romances.
I love it when two characters admit they're wrong about stuff and learn from one another to be better, healthier people.
I'm a massive advocate for mental health awareness as my own has been in the toilet far too many times in life.
Recently returned to fanfic-land after a multiple year absence due to said toilet-dwelling mental health.
Creative energy is life. I've worked professionally in trauma frontline healthcare for almost 13 years and I've seen, essentially, the worst of humanity. Fanfic and creative energy is the opposite of that. Your ideas are miracles and thank you for posting them. You have no idea who you could be helping.
I'm glad this exists and thank you to everyone who keeps it running and alive.

Hello, everyone! I’m InfiniteBakuphoon, or Bakuphoon for short. Nice to meet you all!
Like most people here, I’m a writer! A fanfic writer, primarily, for Pokémon currently and possibly for other fandoms in the near future! But Pokémon will always be my first love, haha.
Thousand Roads is a place that I’ve always known about and kind of wanted to be a part of for a while now, but it’s only until now that I’ve finally decided to take the plunge. Probably because I realized that a lot of my fellow forummates at Bulbagarden are here, haha. Including some people that I haven’t seen in quite a while!
I currently have two Pokémon fics that I’m working on: Mirror Adventures: A Tragedy of False Smiles (an anime AU set in a mirror-personality world, based on an episode from XY) and Broken (a Spell of the Unown AU). But it’ll probably be a while before I get to posting either of those here, I think. For now, I just plan on taking it easy, getting used to things here, and getting to know everyone! (And saying hi to my friends from Bulbagarden, haha.) Meanwhile, I might also start with crossposting some reviews from Bulbagarden before moving on to some reviews of stuff here! I look forward to seeing what all of you have come up with in the wide, wonderful universe that Pokémon has to offer.
As for how I’m doing personally, well… I’ve had my ups and downs over the past few years, to make a very long story short. But I’ve slowly been working on returning to the things that make me happy, with Pokémon most certainly being one of those things! And not to mention writing, as well! It’s not always easy to make it all happen with what I have to go through in real life sometimes, but it’s always worth it to reach the light at the end of the tunnel.
I think that’s about all I have for now. I hope to see everyone around!
