Hades snorted, as he overheard the conversation being the Delphox and Sneasel morph. He would pay to see some sense beaten into that Lycaroc. In fact, if it happened, he would be sure to get first row tickets, but knowing how easily Lycanroc could reattach his arm and head, he really didn't believe it was possible to beat him up.

All the same, he would love to see it happen.

Spirit stared at all the people. There were too many people here, and she was feeling overwhelmed.

Lillie felt lost. Underneath the hat, she was blinded, and she didn't know what was happening. "What do we do now?"

Lee's ears twitched, only hearing snippets of Jesse's conversation. He almost came to forget how great it felt to be hated once that negativity came from Jesse of all Pokemon. It tasted bitter, in contrast the Hades' savory hatred, or Lillie's sweet resentment. Lee spat a bit of black fluid to the side and growled lowly, remaining silent as he followed behind the rest. He did what he needed to, and was fine to deal with whatever might follow.

Likewise, Kora stayed entirely quiet. The atmosphere had shifted from despising him to despising Lee, which he felt terrible for being grateful for. He went to Lee's side, and the two shared a brief glance. Kora took in a deep breath, then exhaled, parting with Lee to get closer to the group. He got an arm's length away from Lance, making sure to stay a fair bit away from Lillie. For her sake. He still didn't say a word.

Lance looked at Kora, whining. Maybe they could talk things out after all. But now now, not there. The atmosphere wasn't good for that and he didn't want to make everyone's nerves worse, so he simply nodded to Kora, making a notion for him to get closer. At the very least, Lance wanted to be near a friend.

Koa clutched his head and shut his eyes, trying his very hardest to tune everything out for a moment. At first, he'd thought maybe all this would just be a nice weird dream. Like the one about the legendaries and the Zubats. But it clearly seemed real. Which would have been fine, assuming it was temporary. Being a pokemon was fun. So many new feelings, and so much more strength.

But now... there was too much freaky stuff. Everyone almost dying because that idiot Kora didn't know how to handle a Mimikyu, and then that Deino, Hades, just tore someone's arm off... And then the arms had reattached? At least he'd been able to look away from the Mimikyu at the time.

And Arceus... He glanced over at Arceus and the two Mew. Yep. Still there.

At least now they were at the village. Hopefully, they could find a place to stay, sort this all out.

With some trepidation, he edged further from Lee and towards Lance, who seemed one of the more sane pokemon present.

Before he could ask: 'What do we do now', Mimikyu, Kora and Meggie asked for him. So he went with his second question.

"And more importantly, how do human turned pokemon get home?" he asked Ayeug

"Just wait here with us until we can figure out places to stay for you all," Ayueg said, as Lidequir and Acacia dashed down one of the foggy roads.

"That usually doesn't happen," Leviene interjected, frowning. "Only one of the humans here, Gen, is able to go back and forth between his original world and this one."

"But we'll find a way to get you all home! Promise!" Leviene continued, smiling now. "Maybe we could use the Worldcore again like what happened with Gen and Vernir!"

Down one of the roads, two figures came into view, soon arriving in the plaza. A Dewott, and a Servine wearing a green Reunion Cape.

"Looks like they're here," Ayueg said.

"But we'll find a way to get you all home! Promise!" Leviene continued, smiling now. "Maybe we could use the Worldcore again like what happened with Gen and Vernir!"

Koa stared at Leviene for a long moment. "What do you mean!" he yelped. Not go home again? Never see his team again and never see Kitto or Blake? Her next words didn't do much to bolster his hopes.

"There has to be a way! Why don't we go see this Worldcore thing right now?"

"...Well I'm happy being like this anyway," Meggie shrugged. It was true. After all that happened back home, being a Froslass was the least of her problems.

Lance flinched the moment he locked eyes with that Servine, sensing a shiver running down on his spine. Oh no. Why did every time he went to another dimension, he always seemed to encounter that species?

"W-Well, that's... fair!" he said, gulping. Lance straightned himself to cover up his small panic attack and began to breathe deeply to calm down.

Kora and Lee's ears both flicked. All the names of the natives sort of bounced off of them as strange or entirely unfamiliar... but that one, Gen? The shaky, anxiety filled, didn't-even-want-the-rocks-to-know-he-was-human Gen? Couldn't wield a scalop to save his life, Gen? The one Lee failed to save before, Gen?

Down one of the roads, two figures came into view, soon arriving in the plaza. A Dewott, and a Servine wearing a green Reunion Cape.

"Looks like they're here," Ayueg said.

"Wait... what?" Lee muttered, blinking at the Dewott. Kora kept quiet, but thought the same thing. They both wanted to say something to him, but knowing how they might not even be encountering the same Gen they actually knew, didn't.

"W-Well, that's... fair!" he said, gulping. Lance straightened himself to cover up his small panic attack and began to breathe deeply to calm down.

Kora shakily raised his arm and wrapped it around Lance's shoulder, smiling weakly. "It's... alright," he said quietly.

Jesse squinted. Gen? Could that be the same Gen he remembered, evolved and matured and out as a human to the people around him? He reached out with his mind and found no recognition of him (or Lee) whatsoever. He bit his lip. Maybe this was a sister-world to Gen's, with this dewott a mirror of the oshawott he knew. What did that mean?

...nothing. It meant nothing. This was a stranger to whom he had no relationship whatsoever. He would proceed as such.

Star and Barky looked to one another, skeptical, but the former shrugged. "Well, hey. I guess we can treat this like a small vacation from our problems back home, eh?"

"You're still with me."

Lillie was hit with a feeling like vertigo as her hopes of amending her mistake crashed and burned.

Of course it was true, though. Father had been better than her at all of this, and he'd never come back. Her hope had been irrational in the first place. She should have known better than to think such irrational things.

She would be stuck here. Stuck like this. Forever.

Lillie couldn't help but be skeptical. Leviene's promise was an empty one, without anything more than a 'maybe' in possibility. She suspected it wasn't even plausible in the first place. If anyone could go there to set up travel, why was Gen the only one who had? Why was that plan just a 'maybe?'

Jesse clenched and unclenched one paw, while the other rested on his wand holster. What if he never got home? He'd already come to terms with never going home home, but being trapped somewhere else that wasn't the world he'd spend decades protecting...?

They were bonding, already. So soon after Lee's one outburst. He should have expected it, in fact he did expect it. But it still stung. Lee knew when he was to be replaced, so it was better for him to bite the bullet first.

Lee looked down to Ayueg, a neutral expression on his face. "Does this place have either a bar or a library?" he asked, flatly. He really just wanted a place to be alone, if need be, he'd slink into the forest around the village.

"Y-You could..." Kora muttered, then cleared his throat. "You could put faith in them, a bit... Maybe..."

'Replaced', indeed. They'd known each other for about a week under bizarre circumstances and Lee had developed some kind of acute admiration and Jesse had leaned on him a little about it. That was all. Why did the guy take him so much more seriously than everyone else? Ugh, but Jesse would have to try and address the problem, because that was what he did.

Might as well wait until he was at the bar, though. They could drink together. Jesse sure could use a fucking drink. His paw went to his whiskey flask.

He pulled out the flask and proffered it in one paw.

That's right, he could read these. Lee had forgotten. This could be more useful than not. Lee looked to Jesse, grinning. He knew better than to take a kind gesture at times like these. He'd be pulled away, told what he did was wrong, or have his mind pried into. He wouldn't have been treated as an equal, but as someone who needed help. He didn't need it, nor did he want it.

"I'm fine, thanks," Lee said, declining the flask.
'Don't keep looking down on me.'

"But I would like a drink, if there's a bar here."
'I don't need your pity, fake or genuine.'

"I wouldn't decline your company, after what just happened."
'But I don't blame you for your disgust...'

Lee's grin faltered for a moment, that last thought wasn't intended, but it was too late to take it back.

"There has to be a way! Why don't we go see this Worldcore thing right now?"

"Are you sure that's something you can promise?"

"Well, you see..." Leviene began.

"It's on the other side of the world from here," the Sevine said, walking up to the group. "And it's also a mystery dungeon, and a really difficult one too. Also, hi! I'm Vernir!"

"And I'm Gen!" the Dewott said, smiling. "Don't worry, we'll find a way to get you all home. We've well actually only Vernir and Hydreigon, I was kind of not in this world at the time gone through Worldcore before, and we can do it again! It'll just take a while."

"Anyways, to answer your question, Lycanroc, there's not a bar in this town at least, but there's a cafe over in the Tree Plaza," Ayueg said, just as the Wartortle and long-antennaed Meganium returned. There were no smiles on the two's faces.

"Sorry!" the red-leafed Chikorita said, before looking away. The Torterra and short-antennaed Meganium soon followed.

"So, I have good news and bad news," the Wartortle, Lidequir said, looking at the Combusken and Bayleef. "The good news is that we have places for everyone to stay. The bad news is...we're going to have to use the houses of some of the Pokemon that have gone missing."
