What Pokémon would you be in the PMD-verse?

Friends of mine insist that I'd be an espeon. It's a cat, it's loyal and protective, intelligent, capable of prescience and empathy. The Ultra Sun/Moon Dex entries sealed it:

Ultra Sun: Although it originally had no powers at all, people say its precognitive faculties were awakened by its need to protect itself.
Ultra Moon: Psychic power builds up in the orb on its forehead as it bathes in the sunshine. Espeon is not good at battling at night.

I spend a lot of time fixated on future events due to traumatic experiences I've had, and I need plenty of sunlight to keep my wellbeing up due to wintertime seasonal affective disorder. Feels appropriate.

I like to think I'd be a variant of some kind, like a tabby or something. The aesthetic doesn't match up terribly well!

I want to say a bug of some kind. I'm thinking spinarak, most likely, since 1.) spider! :D and 2.) they have to do a lot of waiting around for Just the Right Moment (or for prey, in their case) to arrive before they can properly do their thing.

(Fwiw, in what woefully little time I've actually spent with any of the games, it's pretty much always given me chikorita [and I think totodile, once].)

They're bug/psychic-type, which is about as fitting for me as it gets.

They spend their time hiding in their shells, watching the world and preparing for a possible, but not inevitable, evolution.

They're mid-stage, not what they were but not all they could be.

They look like absolute dorks.

What kind of Pokemon, huh?

If I go by what I want to be, I'd totally want to be a Zoroark, because the illusion abilities are insane. Why wouldn't I want that? I could pull any pranks I wanted on peeps all I want hehehehe. Plus they're super floofy

Buuuuut, if I was forced to conform to choices by personality, I'd probably be a Slaking ability-wise, lol. Can absolutely pump out a chapter in a week when provided with the proper motivation... Then proceed to slack off for twice that amount of time XD

While I'd waffle between something that flies as I adore certain birds ( to be specific the bird pokemon I like best are murkrow, pidgy, and spearow lines), I'm an utter cat nerd who'd likely get saddled as a Meowth in all actuality.

Also, it tends to by my PMD results when I play anyway...

If Meowth wasn't an option perhaps a sandshrew. It's biped, with my favorite typing, and baring a spiny backside on evolution isn't too much of an immediate hazard to it's environ and keeps it's biped status. So perks all around there.

Hydreigon. The best dragon. Hydreigon can fly, breathe fire, and has an incredible Sp Atk. That's definitely what I'll be.

Just a fun thing I was thinking about recently. If you were sucked into the pokémon world a la the PMD games, what kind of pokémon do you think you might turn into?

Personally I'd hope for something that flies, or at least could hover really high or something. What might be most appropriate there is abra, actually... I could fly around if I wanted to, theoretically, but realistically I'm going to sleep 20+ hours a day and teleport away from all my responsibilities.

In truth, though, I'm sure I would end up as a patrat or something. Maybe a magikarp or tentacool, for the extra fun of being confined to the water all the time. Nothing out of the ordinary. I suppose that so long as I didn't end up a voltorb, it'd be fine. :P

huh, fun question I’ve been missing out on this whole time…

ideally, if I had the choice (or just got extremely lucky), I’d love nothing more than to be a gible (which as we all know eventually evolves into garchomp which is my favorite pokemon ever)

but, if it’s purely up to chance, I’d probably end up as something like… I don’t know, a zigzagoon or something. just one of those weird little dudes like that.

i would be a metapod and sleep all the time and maybe make a friend who would carry me around up mountains and through rivers and stuff
