Sorry for the delay, but I got a bit lost tallying up everyone's results (and especially tracking mine).
At the end of the anniversary period, adding up also the results of the writing sprints done during the last day, I have a total of 38023 words.
To those we need to add the 4142 words written by me between the 4 and 11 of May, arriving to a total of 42165 words!

We reached Tier 3 of the prizes, so that means that every participant can choose one Egg a certain type and generation, and I will randomly extract what hatches out of it after two weeks!

Since we reached Tier 3, if the chosen egg is Fire type, the Pokémon inside will have 4/10 chances to be shiny!

Well it depends on if anything's fair game. Ironically as much as I like the evos that's what I'm hoping to avoid since it's a nothing shiny. ;P I mean I guess there's worse than just the eyes changing but still not a very high tier shiny IMO. Each their own I guess!

Actually, clarification: can anything pop from the egg - paradoxes, legends, etc? Didn't see any indication either way, just "any" Pokemon. If so, stick with Gen 9 fire. Otherwise, Gen 7 fire.
