Thanks everyone for taking part in the event, I'm really happy to see that a couple of people reached all the way to the A rank!

The prizes are as follows:
- Rank A: choose any {1} Pokémon you want, it can be anything, mythicals and legendaries included. It will be shiny. In addition, you receive {1} Megastone of your choice to use on any of your buddies, boxed, present or future ones. A mega stone allows you to change your writing buddy sprite to their mega evolved form. What purpose does it have? Nothing except for bragging rights and a nice reminder I guess lol
- From Rank B to Rank K: choose any {1} Pokémon you want, mythical and legendary excluded. (Fossils, ultra beast and paradoxes however are allowed). In addition, choose {1} Megastone of your choice.
- Under Rank K: choose {1} megastone of your choice. One writing buddy of your choice gets +5 levels.

@Nekodatta Thank you! I'll take an aerodactyl for reaching Rank K, please. (I'll just box her for now, but there are definitely some things I could use her for in the future assuming they ever happen.) I don't have anything specific to use the mega stone on yet since I'd rather not for mewtwo or aerodactyl, so I think I'll just bank that for the time being and pick a specific one down the road.

Thanks again for running this! Having public/community interactive events like these does always manage to light at least a little fire under my ass, so I really appreciate you putting all this together for us.

I'll have to think about what I'm getting. Preliminarily? Aero + Stone, but I'll confirm it when I think about it. Might be a tempting thing in Mega Dimension, so...

3 on the 5th. Recovery day after adventure.

A way too big 969 on the 6th. Edits to the next Demonic Origins chapter. Ever come back to something and go wow this sucks? That's basically what it was. First part of this chapter was very artifacted from the old one. Lots of rewriting and expansion happened besides. But hopefully it pays off.

Thanks so much for running the Royale, Nekodatta! It was great seeing so many people put up big word counts this year. I will happily take a shiny Mewtwo as my pokémon prize, but since I'm not a huge fan of the megas, I think I'll do an absolite to go with it. I may have someone to use that with in the not too distant future. ;)

Things will be quiet for a bit while I focus on Review Blitz, but I'm signing up for a big writing challenge in 2026, so hopefully there'll be some serious movement in a couple months!
