All right, my weekly update.

12 words on the 11th. I couldn't get much done due to having to deal with a phone Google is trying to murder. Like, they were bypassing root settings and now even DNS blocking to kill the batteries. For safety according to an Australian watchdog, but it basically renders the phone unusable. Then the phone's battery swelled because of what they did and trying to fix it.

41 words on the 12th. This was some correctiveness post-posting in Chapter 3 of Demonic Origins when someone pointed out a bit of confusingness.

55 words on the 13th. I decided to split up Chapter 4 of Demonic Origins because it would let me add a scene I otherwise wouldn't be able to, and I figured out a second one for the end of it to jump into action as I intended. I started on the latter scene before bed despite intending to earlier in the day, but I decided to play Shining Force III instead.

8 words on the 14th. A simple sentence.

259 words on the 15th. A chunk of the new scene plus some stuff in what's now Chapter 7 because I migrated some of the content there over since it's being shown as it happens. As usual, I didn't count the C7 stuff that got moved (except actual new words in it).

7 words on the 16th. Productive day in most ways but writing.

18 on the 17th. By the time I was ready/not distracted by silly stuff, it was too late and I was trying to figure out some phone writing things to help.

My weekly report:

A massive 1586 on the 18th! I finished off the new content in C4, then I split another chapter because I made up a new scene. Okay, it was one I had in mind and dismissed, but I found the idea for it so I went ahead. It's awkwardly split at the moment so it might actually not be split. We'll see. I finished up by adding the extra bit in C5. That was two words short of doubling my current wordsperience.

A much more modest 220 on the 19th. I edited C4 and a bit of the rest.

165 on the 20th. More edits to C4 to the point of publishing, then some more on various other chapters.

10 on the 21st. Very minor stuff.

64 on the 22nd. I started working on the Next Fic in Line after the Next Fic in Line before bed, just because I had some inspiration.

A big 1270 on the 23rd. Most of this was concentrated in the new prologue idea for the Next Fic in Line.

Finally, 849 on the 24th. Got more content into Demonic Origins that better bridges things with the sequels. I also did C5 edits.

455 on the 25th. I started on the next additional scene to Demonic Origins based on how the one scheduled to be last went, added a bit of text to said one, and made a major rewrite to one of the others.

Only 4 on the 26th. Something went horribly wrong all of a sudden with one of my teeth that'd be fine for a long time. Hoping it was just something that will pass rather than needing any dental work done. Not painful, but like a pressure thing if pressed upon (including smiling in certain ways). That and waiting on things and fatigue out of nowhere made this a very unproductive day in general.

186 on the 27th. Enough edits to C5 of Demonic Origins to publish.

1 and 3 on the 28th and 29th respectively, just minor sentence tweaks. Part of the problem was fatigue. Haven't gotten a good night's sleep since that tooth acted up. It was partly waiting for a package on the 29th, but besides that I woke up early for no reason.

75 on the 30th. I did get sleep thankfully. A chunk of a scene idea for the NFiL. But it was a busy day which prevented more.

36 on the 31st. Basically the same as above, except add fatigue and bad writing conditions.

Well this took a weird turn.

140 on the 1st. This was C6 edits of Demonic Origins, I think.

43 on the 2nd. I think more edits.

5 on the 3rd. Words that exist, basically.

364 on the 4th. Various parts of Demonic Origins, including enough to publish C6.

17 on the 5th. This was the calm before the storm.

1048 on the 6th. I got inspired to write a fic mocking the Malamar thing and showing what it would be like from the perspective of someone who resists mind control. In short, pretty damn terrifying.

2501 on the 7th. I finished off the draft which is ultimately going to be part of a greater whole, but is getting posted sooner for relevancy reasons. Like this is multiple fics chronologically down the line. I also did a bit of work on Next Fic in Line for that matter.

Also Slib gets 1343 across 2 days.

First of all picking up my sableye from way back here. I love a gemlin! Not mad about getting this as my prize at all.

And then I've been doing some drafting on an entry for the Poképod Project, so I actually have some words to record...
