So i contacted blackjack and got permission to pic a different fic from thier collection since i read tjis one cover to cover and no one else was nibbling....
So heres the review.

Now in honor of the blitz i'm picking five options so someone can pick a fic any fic...
(I'm hoping by widening the option pool we'll gwt more traffic tbh, i did draw from things i've read reviewed to be fair)
So lets get the ball rolling!
1.
Black swan white swan, a trainer fic verse that focuses on an au region, au Team, and is dark enough and politically/socially rich enough to wash out any leftover holiday glarg in your life. Stellar writing and characters carry this tale forward. Its rated M however and for fair reason.
2.
No audio. A slice of life fic recorded from the recording device of a gas station camera... all mundane and dryly droll... until it isnt. Lets just say SPOILER has odd pasttimes between disasters and let it go at that. Interesting characters. A chill who-dun-it once you start playing the guessing game inside. All of the above wwrapped up in customer service schenanigans that anyone who has worked retail is going to GET bone deep once they start panning out.
3.
Foolish oddish. A story between an adventerous zubat, an oddish, and a lot of little stories said zubat weaves to keep them together in a world thats part funhouse mirror part eldritch gods dream. (Candidly i renamed that oddish survivalist stan and his short attention span in my review notes) one wants out of the mystery dungeon, the other is just following a story, never noticing the story hes making along the way.
4.
Mystery dungeon keeper of hope. Shameless found this little gem and have been emjoying it quite a bit despite my normal neutrality to pmd tales. Its got nice writing, interesting premiss, fun characters, and enough social strife even by chapter three that i'm hooked. Also the abra's reaction to waking up in the mon world is probably one of the best i've seen in a while.
5.
Between the mountians and the sea
Another odd duck for my trainerverse fond self. This is a pretty adult feeling mon verse simply by the result of the cast feeling destinctly grizzled and adult. Theres no bright eyed, pichu, legend wreckers here but a gathering of mid to late evolutions who have lived, and it shows. Our human transport has been swimdled, hoodwinked, and i'm half a mind to suspect that dungeoneering guild might be a thieves guild. They leave that type of impresson.
