The first part could signify that the pokemon has different color on the top and bottom or at least that there's a line of differentiation. The entry in general screams Ice type, but you stated it was a newer pokemon instead. So we can cross that type off. What other types might retain heat well? Water (colder waters), normal (most fluffy pokemon are here), and based off the second part, a fire type like growlithe. I'm thinking it's either Greedent or Diggersby, but with all my time playing greedent on pokerogue and generally being a fan, I'm doubting it. Diggersby.
