Here we go with another three 100 words drabbles, all Arven themed! I hope to do all the remaining prompts too, but I'm posting these first three here before the anniversary ends and I forget lol

    « Korai, Collision Course!»
The great beast leapt in the air at Juliana's command, spreading its wings wide and soaring over the enemy Dondozo before crashing down on it with a resounding roar. When the dust cleared, the enemy Pokémon lay defeated.
Juliana cheered, then ran forward to pet Koraidon before getting her prize money from the other trainer.
    Arven shivered and looked away.
He forgave the Pokémon, but could not help it.
When he saw Koraidon use that move, the roar, the violence of the impact, made him only think one thing:
"Was this the last thing Mom saw?"

Arven knew the Violet Book very well.
Not as a child that loved it as their favourite book, reading the pages over and over until they knew what every line said.
No, he knew it as the book that Dad always had in hand. The one Dad always kept near his computer as he worked in the lighthouse.
He had never actually read it, until desperation brought him to crack it open, looking for whatever his Dad saw inside that fascinated him to the point of devoting his life to it.
He kinda understood it then. It gave him hope.

Watching Florian assemble the monstrosities he called sandwiches horrified Arven.

« Why three entire blocks of tofu? »

« It attracts Normal type Pokémon »

What? He had never even heard of that.

    « How?»

« I don't know, probably the smell. » Florian replied, putting more cucumber and pickles on top. It was always cucumber and pickles.

At least he didn't stuff noodles in there like last time.
But the last ingredient made Arven gape in horrified amazement.

« Wait ... Is that Herba Mystica? »

He had risked his life for a couple of leaves of the things!

« Does it even taste good? »

    Florian did not answer.

Another year, another set of Bingo Drabbles!
For now it's those three, let's see if I will manage to write all prompts because they were all so interesting. (And go back to those of last years).

As always, they are all exactly 100 words.
I'm especially proud of the "Stellar Tera" one.
Let's see if someone catches the little easter egg I snuck inside it...

Fiery disposition, ebbing through the air. Mind crackling with energy, unbound. Limbs push forward, tearing through the ground. In the dark, the enemies swarm around you. Plain, dull. No threat.

The air chills, frozen, as the crystals swirl all around, coalescing in a beam of pure light, directed towards them. The enemies scatter like leaves in the wind. They regroup before long, cackling like a covenant of mad sprites, spitting poisonous insults.

Your dragon heart steels itself for the challenge.

There's not even the specter of a doubt in your heart; you will be victorious, because you are ever changing.

The Professor kept typing at the keyboard in a haze. Their latest idea came to them in a sudden burst of inspiration: the ultimate defense system.

And it all boiled down to something as simple as an integer comparison. If a != 250926, emit an electromagnetic signal at a very specific frequency.

It was almost ridiculous, how simple of an idea it was. How terrifying the implications were. Just an electromagnetic signal and a tiny little number, to render mankind's greatest invention useless.

The Professor nodded to themselves as they kept typing.

    Right.

They still had to modify something else.

The crater was a dizzying sight, the terrain descending towards its depths in a downward spiral, disappearing into an inscrutable abyss.

The expedition proceeded forward with caution, each step calculated, each rope securely fastened before descending.

Suddenly, Cyclizar's head snapped up, sniffing the air.

« What is it, dear?» Heath held his breath.

One of the many strange roars they kept hearing resounded through the air.

Cyclizar barked a warning, but it came too late. Something huge struck suddenly.

    « Watch out!»

Blood spilled on the untouched ground of Area Zero.

    It wasn't the first.

    It wouldn't be the last.
