Frankly I can't think of a whole lot of time delayed roles either, except the ones in the second anni game, where scum did have one. But I'm prolly not thinking outside the box enough because my role leaves me with no clue what to expect from other roles this game anyhow.

Though on the topic of bulletproofs someone mentioned there being a lot of bulletproofs and my buddy gives me a bulletproof shot (shared between any other buddies we have, idk if my current buddy can use though), so that's one more. (Again, the shot is shared, once it's used once it's gone for us all.) So uh, yeah, lot of bulletproof.

here’s my feelings on dw. i think people are taking away the wrong things from their play. i don’t think it’s scummy in the slightest that they’re placing pressure votes willy-nilly. it’s not as dangerous as people are fluffing it up to me. it’s just a different strategy of town play. in other communities (and i suspect dw plays a lot elsewhere) it’s normal. i’m not going to shade anyone for being put off by it because it is weird and different and pretty aggressive. but i don’t think it’s alignment indicative.

what i don’t like, and i said this before but i don’t believe dw has anything to say about it, is that this is pretty much all they’re doing. placing the vote by itself doesn’t really… do anything. as i said before, it’s a tool to produce pressure, to provide an extra edge as you question and draw information out of people. and—maybe i’m just not paying close enough attention, but i don’t feel dw is doing that. votes don’t draw information out of people, questions and interaction do. there hasn’t been much of that, mostly just “well i think this is the best place for my vote” and other such defense. that doesn’t feel solvey to me. in the best case it’s unhelpful and lethargic. in the worst case it’s throwing votes around to see what sticks.

i’m not really sure what else to take away from dw’s play but this. it feels like it’s just been placing pressure votes, not actually using them, and then defending their right to do that. that’s not very productive… but it’s not really productive for anyone, mafia included. that’s why i’m hesitant to let my bafflement bleed over into suspicion. yeah, it’s weird, but is it really scummy? i don’t know. i think mostly it’s just nothing.

that said, i don’t oppose a dw elimination. i think my vote of choice right now is equi because i’m just repeatedly getting bad vibes, but i don’t think we’re getting there today. i’ll see how the rest of the day plays out and make up my mind at eod, i guess. it’s also feeling like it might be wise to abstain, so i’m going to do that for now in case i’m distracted until eod.
