Major Fics

PMD: Eternal Shadows​

A human named Gen wakes up as an Oshawott, retaining all his memories. After meeting a Chikorita and a Charmander, he makes a hasty decision, and lies that he is an amnesiac and not a human. As he journeys with the two, he ensnares himself in his own web of lies as he tries to find a way back home. All the while, Pokemon go missing, turning up in strange places, surrounded by shadowy auras. A PMD story taking place in the canon PMD world, after Super Mystery Dungeon. Incorporates elements from all five PMD games.

In Tandem​

Coleane the Tropius isn't very happy with her life in the PMD world. She's not allowed to use her name, and her mama is...not the best. So when she's given the opportunity to go to the world of humans, she's overjoyed! She'll become the greatest trainer there ever was! But she wanted to keep her wings...so she'll stay a Tropius. A story of a Tropius who becomes a trainer, and the friends she makes on the Internet. A story about humans, and those who wish to be human.

My second main fic, currently at 2 chapters. This one is more focused on the human world, but still has the PMD world be very relevant to the story. If you enjoy internet chatrooms and the idea of Pokemon being trainers, check this one out!

Minor Fics

A Comprehensive Guide to Items​

Can't tell the diffence between an oran and an oren? Have a bunch of emera dust sitting in your bag that you don't know what to do with? Want to start making your own items? Read this, and have all your item-related questions be answered! A guide to Pokemon items, what they do, and how to make them.

My silly little worldbuilding side project, this one is all about the various items in the Pokemon world! With 7 entries so far, this fic is an in-universe guide written by the Rescue Team partner, all about items! If you like items and a hefty dose of worldbuilding, check this one out!

Then, Then, and Now​

"Who are you?" the man in the purple hat asked you. "I'm Lidequir," you answered. | "Who are you?" the Chikorita asked you. "I'm Lidequir, you answered.

A story told in parallel, about Legends Arceus and PMD Rescue Team, and if the protag was the same in both. This story also has the unique aspect of every single chapter (of which there are 4 of so far) be a multiple of 250 words long. Oneshots

Final Ascent​

At the end of four journeys, conversations are had during the final ascent. Almost there. Almost there.

A story about the final dungeons of the four main PMD games, and a conversation held between the hero and partner in each of them. Each of the four sections focuses on one of the final dungeons, as the characters realize how close their journeys are to being over. Day of Heroes​

Over the course of four years, the PMD protagonists and partners celebrate a holiday dedicated to them. A love letter to PMD Rescue Team, Explorers, Gates to Infinity, and Super.

My magnum opus, my proudest work so far. A story celebrating PMD. Each of the four sections depicts the PMD protagonists and partners from the four main games interacting and celebrating the Day of Heroes. If you enjoy PMD, check this one out!

A Way to Reunite​

After saving the world, a human and their partner long to see each other again, even if the laws of reality prohibit it.

Not actually canon to my other fics, but it's my first oneshot, about an alternate epilogue to Gates to Infinity. It was made for the 2021 TR Oneshot contest, and it focuses on the bond between the human and partner. If you enjoy Gates to Infinity and its characters, check it out!

White Swan, Black Swan​

Kalos is currently in the clutches of a drug epidemic, and Odette Cinq-Mars is a former theater hopeful with a little too much time on her hands and a penchant for reading into things a little deeper than most.

When her best friend Noel uncovers an alarming discrepancy in some public case files regarding the drug epidemic, she begins to do more than just question. When an old flame returns to haunt her, she launches herself into the world of the Shiny Pokemon Trade to uncover some answers. She soon finds she might have been in some deep trouble long before she involved herself…

✔️ This fic currently stands at 15 chapters, one "bonus" chapter, a prologue, and an April Fools chapter, totaling 18 whole chapters. The shortest is about 2.5k and the longest is about 15k (don't roast my poor ass okay), and it is ongoing.

✔️CW's are posted at the beginning of every chapter, but please be warned of the occult themes, implications of past sexual assault, talk of death, talk of Pokemon death, talk of murder, drug use, and strong language.

Review Preferences:
Feel free to tear into this one with some concrit. Let me know how you feel about the pacing, especially on the newer chapters. Not really interested in hearing if you like my concept of fakemon and types, I mainly just want to know if the pacing is off, the characterization is fine, and if the plot is doing what it needs to do. Please see the patch notes for a review of what I have already been critiqued on.

Poison & Pecha Berries​

She never dreamed anything like this would happen to her. It wasn't something she could even bring herself to fathom.

In the aftermath of a vicious assault, Odette Cinq-Mars no longer feels she has the will to function. She wants to be okay, but the prospect of feeling whole again feels forever out of reach. When she finds companionship in a mimikyu with a parallel problem, she soon learns that poison comes in all forms, and that accepting life's pecha berries is a necessary skill that comes with time.

✔️ CW's for themes of sexual assault, talk of sexual assault, episodes of trauma, strong language, and discussion of murder.

✔️ While there is only one chapter, this is intended to be a chapter fic.

Review Preferences:
Was a little sweaty about this one considering it deals with a very touchy subject matter and I want to be sure I'm handling it in a realistic and respectful manner. Do the trains of traumatic thought make sense? Do the story beats progress logically and at an okay pace? Is the scenario being told in a way that isn't offensive or in a more "hand-wave" fashion? Of course, grammar checks, characterization critiques, and everything in-between are always welcome, but I'm really focused on ensuring this isn't off-base thematically.

Of Mon's First Disobedience​

Venira is a seraph, a formless Pokemon in "training" to become a legendary. However, her time spent under her creator, Father Arceus, has not been grand. As she slowly learns more about the concept of "emotions," she's come to understand that she wants more for herself.

When she discovers her sole reason for stomaching her abuse is nothing more than a façade, she decides the only thing left to do is disobey every rule that had been set for her, starting with the first, and most cardinal...

Do not ingest blood.

✔️ CW's for themes of abuse, discussion of body horror, body horror, and strong language.

✔️ To be honest, I don't know if this counts as a one-shot or a chapter fic. It was written for the one-shot contest, but I broke it down into chapters upon the rewrite. I'll leave it up to the judges LOL.

Review Preferences:
I did my best to take all the notes I agreed with into account, but I know it's still not perfect. I don't know what kind of crit I'm looking for on this, so, really, I'll take anything. Go nuts. My edits were kind of rushed so feel free to point out any continuity or dialogue issues.

However, if I am to be as politely blunt as I can be, I do not want to hear anything about why you don't like fakemon or why you think it's stupid that the characters here are in human forms. The former is a personal preference, and the latter is my own stylistic choice that you can either take or leave. Simply put, I didn't want to write about Pokemon forms, so I wrote about Pokemon in human forms :)

The Guzmania Blooms​

Bromley Rhys Kahele has planned this night for weeks. He's planned to escape the clutches of his abusive father and negligent mother. Everything is ready. He has it down to a science. What could go wrong?

Storm Surge​

A huge storm's rolling in, and Guzma has challenged Odette to surf some of the oncoming waves with him, as is Alola "tradition." However, he's taking a while to get ready, and she's losing her nerve. She doesn't want to let him down. Truthfully, she'd rather impress him somehow.

[Blackjack Gabbiani]

Oh gosh oh golly I can't pass up a chance to shill my fics! Most of them are in my signature, though lemme share some specifics that may appeal. Everything here except The Future Between Us is a one-shot, so you'll be able to get through them quite easily.



Answering Machine--If you're looking for a very short fic (it's under 600 words!), check out this one. It's also my most popular fic ever! But it's about Sycamore and Lysandre through the events of XY and you know where that leads, so the tragedy is high.

Sight--Personally I think this is the best thing I wrote last year. It's about AI Turo starting to show an interest in the outside world, and Turo's response to his creation's wanderlust.

At the End Of Forever--Wrote this right after finishing SV's base game because I couldn't get the idea out of my head. Turo's death, from the perspective of the AI. Warnings for, obviously, major character death, offscreen violence

The Future Between Us--Following from the prior fic but you don't need to read it to get it, it just uses some of the specifics from it. Arven finds a way to fix his father's biggest mistake, and travels to the future to meet with the AI. Winner of Best Fanfic at Kumoricon 2023! Warnings for discussion of parental loss, depiction of a panic attack (also, this is the longest thing I wrote last year but even with ten chapters it's only about 17k)

Three Times I Carried You--Lest you think I can only write about Violet, here's a fic of three scenes between Sada and her AI. Though I suppose the middle section was kind of jossed by Indigo Disk (especially referring to Terapagos as "huge") but hey I didn't know at the time. The first and last sections I still consider canon compliant though. Warnings for major character death.

All The Time In The World--What, did you think I was only capable of writing tragedy about these characters? Here's a very cute and fluffy fic about the Paldea professors when they were teenagers, for an exchange assignment to write about their first date.

In Vino Veritas--Second person Lusamine fic detailing her deterioration after the disappearance of her husband. Warnings for, well, Lusamine behavior

Beyond Today: PMD: One-shot Explorers post-canon. Gesta is the leader of a new team who want to graduate to hunting down outlaws some day. But first, they have to tend to "boring" fetch quests with clients such as this Prinplup... who seems to somehow be on the gods' speed-dial.

A Leader's Seating: post-canon for Explorers and for Super, somewhat. A more complete world means more connections and also an interest in commerce. Rhydon from Fire Islands goes to Blizzard Islands to secure a trade bargain. Part of a Drabble Bingo.

Making the World go 'Round: A one-shot functioning as a PMD: Gates interquel / gaiden. The "player" Pokémon finds a little shop in Post Town that wasn't there yesterday, and gets into the totally wonderful I swear world of DLCs, e-Shops and microtransactions. Ft. Gamañel your DLC Assistant.

Dangerous Upgrade: A multichapter serving as a PMD: Gates gaiden. Following a crossover with @Joshthewriter 's universe, our DLC Assistant has to deal with the Voice of Life, who comes knocking to deal with what she perceives is Gamañel's threat to the world of Gates. What's worse: she's brought company.

Main Fic:​

Of Sand and Shadows: An ex-Pokémon thief named Wes defects from his criminal gang and attempts to leave Orre for good. But things go sideways, and soon Wes is dragged into a plot to save the very region he was trying to abandon.

A novelization/retelling of Pokémon Colosseum. Ongoing longfic with 17 chapters. Rated Teen/PG-13 for violence and language.

One-shots:​

OSAS Bingo Collection: a set of 3 very short (300 words or less) fics set in the OSAS universe, all of which are directly relevant to OSAS itself. An understanding of the characters is not required for reading, however, as they are sufficiently vague and self-contained for blind reading.

Starfrost: A scrappy young kid in Snagem and his mentor make the most of a mostly-forgotten holiday. They might not have much, but they do have each other.

A short, dialogue-only holiday one-shot, set in OSASverse. Again, no knowledge of the characters is required for reading. Rated G.

Of Angst and Anguish: Wes, Neo and Novo are trapped in Darkrai’s Realm…and each of them must face their most deeply-rooted fears and insecurities in the form of nightmares.

Rated Mature/PG-13 for heavy themes and violence. Not canon to OSAS, and can be read without knowledge of the main fic, but will definitely carry a heavier impact for the reader if they are familiar with the characters.

Nameless: The journey of a wild Larvitar, and how her search for power turns her into a shadow of herself.

Technically OSASverse but no familiarity with it is required at all. Rated Mature/PG-13 for heavy themes and violence.

Mew’s Meddling Mischief: Mew is so very bored and she’s desperate for something to do. She finds the solution to her problem in two painfully awkward teenagers who are on their Pokémon journey together.

Shockingly, this has nothing to do with OSAS at all! 😂 Romantic comedy, rated G.

If you like short stories, I have you covered. I think I would most like eyes on Resting Place (to which I experimentally added two new scenes and want feedback on) and The Verdant Ones (not because I really need feedback on it but because it's personally meaningful to me). If you actually *want* a longer story, then Those Who Will Inherit the Earth is sort of your only option, but fortunately it's well-received and maybe the best in terms of characterization and raw entertainment value. Less emotionally heavy options include Firefly Music (romance), An Unaccountable Lightness (psychedelic), and Fenna (weird fluff). A complete listing, with summaries, is available on my website.
