Honestly, entering a fic, the status of named characters (PMD setting or otherwise) is kinda a meh point. I'm not going to call fowl if someone 'mon or otherwise is needlessly named, and it's not a turn-off to see a fic without names attached as long as it's written well enough I can follow...
