Anyway, my question if we kill Fusion is: Are there two town roleblockers? What should it be if we kill DW?

I’m not sure if a single role that’s more effective for town dead than alive. Jester, maybe, or if there’s someone who is activated by the death of another player... but no one has claimed the latter, and I want to believe there’s no jester. Please, Fusion, just claim.

Uhhhhhh I mean I guess if we kill fusion I can check if there are two town roleblockers, but I think no one would believe me whatever I said so... I’m inclined to keep my vote where my gut says it should be.

So I was previously expecting one of Fusion / Waffle to be a medium since there was a deadchat prohibition. But I don't see why someone would lie about that claim, and I don't think a 7-3 mafia game would have no cop or vigilante, even with a healer and seraph knight. Relatedly, not entirely...

If DW flips scum, fine, I accept that I made a bad read and alienated everyone in part because of it. If she doesn't, what then?

I think it means that no one did anything to DW. It’s sort of the inverse of Eq’s ability.

If neither of the claimed roleblockers dies today, I will ask about it. I simply don’t think it’s worth doing when I have a stronger read on one than the other and I could otherwise move on to checking other roles.

I’d read on the wiki that oracles usually take down at least one scum per game. I didn’t want to come out and get nightkilled before I could close a vise on someone. In hindsight, yes, the questions I asked weren’t ideal.

I don’t like the no vote idea. There was no reason for a town roleblocker to act N0. That inherently makes DW’s claim the less suspect one for me, and I sincerely doubt there are two town roleblocker.

I have no unique information to judge that by. I can further review the thread this evening, but I stand by my initial thoughts that the town roleblocker would have absolutely no incentive to act night zero, favoring DW’a claim over Tanuki’s.

I don’t see a reason for everyone to claim when we have good scum leads already. Why woule we give the mafia everything they need to make an informed decision while picking kills?

I’ll be busy with school shit until ~3 hours before deadline today. Then I hope to give my final thoughts and participate in any last minute debates.

There apparently isn’t usually a town roleblocker, especially in a small game. I doubt there would be two when there are other roles (doctor, tracker, bus driver, vigilante, bulletproof vest, probably someone who can talk to the dead) that could be used instead of a double up.

Vote: Tanuki Well, shoot. Looks like there is a town roleblocker after all. Not going N0 makes more sense, because the mafia couldn’t kill and the town info roles could get a shot at finding someone. I don’t think that there’s any upside to roleblocking N0?

Hi @Waffle voting for the most popular option isn’t always viable as ties happen and different bandwagons of equal strength but unequal composition in mafia / town happen often. It’s worth going on a gut feeling sometimes, or else you could easily get swept along by the mafia. Not giving any...
