Hoopa's Multiverse Madness [Roleplay Thread] - [Oct 25-30]

Hoopa clapped their hands together excitably. "Perfect!"

They scanned the gathered crowd of pokemon and humans, before their gaze settled on the nervous Oshawott they'd plucked from one of those 'pokemon-only' worlds. Hoppa zipped over to them and grinned broadly. "Hoopa thinks you look like fun! You can go first! You have to pick - Truth or Dare. Then Hoopa and friends will ask you a question or dare you to do something."

Hoopa snickered and patted the Oshawott. "So? Truth or Dare?"

"Aaaaah! Um, uh..." Gen stammered, as his mind raced to decide what to do.

Before long, he blurted out, "T-truth!"

Instantly, he wanted to take it back.

 

[Navar]

"Hey Gen! You got this buddy!" Lance gave him a paws-up to show his support. "Don't worry about it, you can do it!"

 

[Fusion]

Vegeta stared at Lance, blinking. "...Does he really need a pep talk for answering a question? Really?"

 

[Flyg0n]

"Heehee! Very well. Anyone have a good question for Gen? And remember, no lying! Hoopa will know if anyone lies!"

 

[IFBench]

Gen began trembling at that. Crap, crap, crap, he should have just picked dare!

 

[Navar]

"I can ask him. It's not a big deal." Lance replied, stopping to think of a good question. Knowing what he did about Gen meant he couldn't go ahead and ask something really... big. Instead, he elected for something else. "What was the worst thing that happened to you this year? That you wish never happened."

 

[IFBench]

Gen's eyes widened, and his breathing became rapid. Nonono. There was no way he could keep his secret hidden after this!

"U-uh, um...w-well, uh..." he stammered, trying desperately to think of a way out of this.

 

[SilverPhoenix]

"I um.. Thin .. he.. y.... ah n-ever mind."

Not the time to talk Lilly.

 

[Navar]

Blitz tilted his head. "I don't think he's comfortable with that question. Should we...?"

Lance realized what was going on and facepalmed himself. "...Damn it. Gen, I went too far, didn't I? I'm sorry."

Hoopa snickered. "Hoopa says no one should be afraid! No one can spill your secrets here because you're from different dimensions!"

 

[IFBench]

"Um...er... I...u-uh..." he stammered in between breaths, glancing around at the others here as he clutched tightly onto his reunion cape.

He didn't have a choice...and Hoopa said it was okay, so...

Gen took a deep breath, and then said, "Th-the worst thing is...m-me becoming...a P-Pokemon."

"Hoopa confused! Being a pokemon is amazing. Why would you not want to be a pokemon?"


Although this explained the odd behavior and the weird feeling he'd had about the Oshawott. He was a human!

H-He too? That Oshawott? I-- he... Wh--
"Y-you.. h- a.. d-didn.. want?, I.. e.. er.. n..
...f..." Lilly stammered on every single word as before, not even forming a single coherent phrase.

 

[Navar]

"He probably feels trapped on that Oshawott body," Blitz said, whining like a sad puppy. "Sorry that you had to go through that, kid."

"I-I..." Gen looked down at himself.

"B-being like this...f-feels so, so uncomfortable...it...i-it feels wrong...and I-I can't do a lot o-of the things I w-was able to do a-as a human...and..."

A few tears fell to the ground.

"I...I-I really miss m-my family. I m-miss them s-so, so much...and I-I haven't been able t-to go home s-since this h-happened to me..."

 

[Shiny Phantump]

Lillie felt a cold wave of dread wash over her. Gen's fate sounded... awful. She bit her lower lip anxiously.

"I-I'm so sorry... I... My sympathies..."

Lance let out a long sigh and walked towards the Wott, before getting on his knees, giving Gen a warm hug.

"I'm sorry..."

 

[SilverPhoenix]

"I'm.. s..sor..sor..sorry..I..uh"

Lilly's shaking became worse.

"B-being like this...f-feels so, so uncomfortable...it...i-it feels wrong...and I-I can't do a lot o-of the things I w-was able to do a-as a human...and..."

A few tears fell to the ground.

Antares looked on as the Oshawott spoke.

Normally, if someone had a problem, he would be there to help solve it. He was a hero, and that was what heroes did.

But he couldn't do anything about this.

He had never felt worse.
