So... just a review (please lmk if I missed something augh, there's so much poison and confusion)

Night 0/Day1

Aer:

• Night 0: Between Rui & Hareta, 0 evil (we can reasonably guess unless Hareta was actually psychic irl lol he must be town)

Rui:

• Between Hareta and Wind, 1 is evil*

Shiny Phantump

• Between Madeline and Watt/wind, 1 is evil

Wind:

• No scum are sitting in Pairs

However, Wind shot the Virgin, thus confirming Wind is 100% town and not drunk, only maybe poisoned.

Our sole takeaway from this day is that Rui was in some way definitely wrong in her intel. Whether by scum or drunk or poison, but given Phan sort of (if town) means Phan was poisoned at least one of the nights...? More drunk than poison.


Night 1/Day 2

Aer:

• Between Madeline and Hareta; 1 evil

Phan:

• Between Rocky and Madeline, 1 Demon.

Chibi:

• Rui is Innocent

Perse: Slayer, tries to kill Phan, but this only proves Phan is not the Demon if Perse is innocent, not that Phan isnt a minion
Free: Claims Monk

One thing I'm struggling to grasp is seeing scum trying to kill sind?? surely you'd at least try to spread and get multiple power roles...?

Now I really want to hear from Phan because I'm still confused by this plan. And also by the decision to call out who our Monk was!! Now the Mnk is definitely deadzo.

What we do know is scum would be able to fake being a Monk or Undertaker or Clairvoyant or Monk because they would be able to know whats what in the game.

Gonna do some rereads of reactions and votes and claims...

"The idea is that since it's impossible to get the group to execute Lopunny Odette, it is necessary to kill her at some point to get her out of the way, and she's perhaps less likely to be protected... although if Dave is truthful, then, naturally, she was protected. Meanwhile, Poisoning an inforole may be more useful to the enemy than eliminating that role as early as possible, because it will mislead us."

"Because I protected Odette, and then nobody died. The only other possibilities are that either Malachai or Drake is a Soldier and they went for him for some reason, even though there was at least one obvious info softclaim, or that they deliberately chose not to kill anyone for some reason."

I was actually really curious about this too - was I poisoned last night which would mean that Madeline might be innocent? Was I not and Hareta is holding out as mafia on us? Something else? I was going to guess what happened based on which people figured out I was softclaiming yesterday - so Morgan, Rocky, and (maybe) Dave? There were definitely people who had no idea what was going on, so if I was ignored I'd think the Mafia were the people who didn't know.

"You were at least an obvious target for getting poisoned last night, since you softclaimed an inforole yesterday. So I at least figured it was pretty likely you might get poisoned. But there's no direct evidence for that or anything. You getting poisoned last night wouldn't say anything about Hareta."

Rocky paused, then made some frantic taps in the dirt, counting it seemed. "Bad guys can only Poison and Kill tonight. Currently have three active roles with information who claim to be Good. Means Bad guys cannot stop all information from reaching Town tomorrow. This important! Because if any of these three are lying, then NO information reliable! Bad guys can lie their way to end game."

There are only so many unclaimed roles and most of them don't make sense for us. I think the scumteam already knows which roles we are, just not which of us is which. If you're town, that is.

Nope. Butler is an easy fakeclaim. I don't know if we can force Pano to fail to vote, or something. I'll check the wiki.

Having said that, Pano would be ELITE scum if she was faking. Good lord.

[[I know there's mechanically nothing I can do short of dying and hoping our Undertaker isn't lying or tampered with to prove I'm Butler, but *please* I'm trying to help. This is a tough one to puzzle out because we don't get any confirmed information upon death, meaning you HAVE to be sure you trust your information roles that DO mechanically confirm things.

I actually didn't ask Inke how the rules about voting would translate to this if I were vote-blocked by picking someone who didn't vote. The wiki unhelpfully says "it's up to the Butler to self-police, so if you forget and vote, you just get to cheat and the GM should count your vote and not out you as the Butler by taking it away" which... isn't helpful to anyone?

It feels like a really weird role that doesn't actually punish anyone for it existing? The only thing I can think of is if Butler is in late game and trusts a scum, they can vote-block me and prevent a lynch or something to save one of their own? Idk, again, not much of a punishment given I could cheat anyway??

Dave grimaced. "I'm not completely sure we trust any of them. The simplest solution is it's Malachai and Drake and possibly Madeline. Morgan's play hasn't felt like it made sense for scum, doing a whole thing about Madeline definitely being the Demon that'd obviously call Morgan into question if it didn't pan out. But then again she managed to provoke me into claiming as Monk by saying the window was closing on it which would be great fucking play if she were scum. It's kinda weirding me out that she's been totally quiet since. Elgyem I've been trusting but now I'm starting to reevaluate. Spectrier's claim would've been very easy to fake. Nothing's certain in this thing. But Malachai and Drake have the least going for them, when they've made no claim and given no info."

[[The odd thing (or maybe not so odd?) is that Chibi actually made a softclaim of their role back on D1. I only saw it upon a reread of the thread last night. (For the record I still haven't caught Phan's D1 soft claim yet lol).

The thing is, we have learned by both Phan (and myself) asking the DM when the scum fake claims were distributed. Scum players had the ability to softclaim their fake roles from the start of the game, so this doesn't necessarily exonerate them.]]
