“You’re putting a lot of thought into this, which is good! But I think you’re missing something—if Madeline is innocent, then that means she wasn’t lying about her Slayer power. And in that case, Morgan should have died when she used it, because only the Demon is left now. Since she didn’t, and if we’re going to assume Madeline was telling the truth…there’s really only one option left.”
Rocky perked up, stretching on his legs as high as they could go. "Good good good, Rocky work hard. Not miss! Look at from different angle. Rui give good reminder, though. All angles should work together to form same picture. Rocky think they do!"
"Technically," Dave said with a deep sigh, "as our game master has just confirmed, a poisoned target can still get a correct result at random. So for all we know Elgyem could've been poisoned every night and the random number generator just happened to land on correctly flagging Madeline anyway. Which is fucking dumb in my opinion, but there you go. Not that I think it's likely, but we can't, apparently, reason like someone getting a correct result means they weren't drunk or poisoned that night."
"Mmm, yes, Rocky account for this. Nothing absolute but still surprising random number doesn't land on 2 at all. Hard to draw conclusion if worried about every random event. Appreciate reminder, Dave friend."
He settled back down, lowering himself closer to the ground, studying his all-but-incomprehensible diagrams. "Agree with consensus. Noisy players quiet, finally. Good for thinking. Less good for them. Malachai right. Time make decision." Facing towards Morgan, he tipped slightly sideways. A smile, perhaps? "Rocky place vote. Win game. Then go home! Happy happy happy."

"Something that's kind of odd here," Dave said, "is Elgyem's mostly avoided saying much of anything about Drake and Spectrier. She vaguely mistrusted and voted for the horse but was absent for the Drake train and kind of reluctant to consider him guilty."
I don't want to kill Madeline. I asked Inkedust and if we tie, there's no kill. Madeline, if you vote for Chibi Pika, I'll change my vote so it ties and you live. (Unless I miscounted.)
"Doesn't trust Spectrier, is willing to vote for him and eventually does - but as part of a plan to make a tie, so no one gets eliminated. Distancing but not actually pushing to eliminate. Madeline's clearly a handy person to keep around, too, as far as the mafia's concerned at this point; Elgyem gets cred, potentially no one gets eliminated and the mafia can freely kill again, a juicy miselimination target remains in play; if it somehow ends with Spectrier getting killed Elgyem will get mad cred for it. Solid plan, right?"
Though I am not the one being addressed here, I also see a separate possibility for a trio here. And while
the dark rattata Drake was the one voted to execution last night [[after I went to sleep]], I'm not terribly sure of his guilt myself. But I will hold my tongue until the mismagius reports her findings.
... To be perfectly clear, you are reporting that Drake was the Minion/Scarlet Woman, right?
"Wasn't around for Drake getting executed, pretty much everyone believes he was scum... except Elgyem who's still pushing doubt on it even after Spectrier's report."
But how could we have gotten incriminating results on the same Mimikyu last night unless we were both poisoned, which is impossible? How can we be in agreement if Madeline is innocent? If I were poisoned, then you couldn't have been, but we both got evil results. If you knew that you weren't poisoned, then why would you claim that you were and got false results? Were you not reporting who you checked for some reason?
The major thing that keeps bothering me though is that Morgan wanted the Monk to claim. That rings as the most scummy to me, like, Dave is now dead, completely predictably. I wanted to make a post about it before because I thought it was also weird that Chibi wanted the monk to claim, which is pretty suspicious, but then it actually happened.
I spent a while going over previous assumptions made about the game state because I was taking what Morgan says as fact, and upon reassessment, these reactions are also weird to me. Considering that Rocky is mostly verified based off of Morgan's logic. Is it only based on the idea that we have to have exactly 2 outsiders? Why can't we just have 1?
"Has been expressing distrust of Morgan but immediately votes Glastrier upon Morgan's redcheck on Glastrier/Elgyem, as if self-conscious about the possibility of not voting for Glastrier."
"Yeah I'm not sure. Despite me trying to get the mimikyu unlynched a few times it's been consistently true that every day the mimikyu's been voting for me. If you're town, I'd say that I think you're locked in on me because you were the Slayer and really thought you were 50/50ing it on D2, and you should reconsider that, but I don't know if you're town."
"I think it comes down to evidence. Reading back with an eye for it, I noticed the rat Drake didn't seem to notice I was softclaiming. The evidence I have against it being the mimikyu basically hinges on the mafia realizing I was the Empath, and deciding to poison me N1 after they recognized my claim. Obviously no mafia's going to claim now that they didn't notice me claiming, but seeing how things are going I wonder if they noticed me in the first place. It feels kind of odd that we just let someone with two guilty reads on her just go off based on a hunch."
How about 12) Madeline and Glastrier are the scum left. I think that's still possible.
"Really trying to push Madeline and Glastrier, and specifically to cast doubt on the reasoning about her not getting poisoned N1 based on the mafia not noticing her softclaim."

"But ends up voting Madeline rather than Glastrier, pushing her as being the Demon, even though if she believes Morgan's result implicating Glastrier that means Glastrier's the Demon."
Dave looked around. Everyone else had already settled in their votes. "And then there's, yeah, the total silence today from any of the three of them today. It's pretty conspicuous. Let's end this."
Whatever haughtiness Oscar had before had since melted in the relative silence. There were no objections, no scent of adrenaline, no passionate arguments, only the musings of confirmed town, which ultimately led to the same end anyway. Resignation hung in the air -- or at least, it felt that way to Oscar. So, that's just it, then? I didn't even get to actually do anything...
A sigh. "Very well. If our suspects do not wish to argue their case, then I must take that as a concession."
Solved indeed. The day passed slowly and little room was left for debate or discussion as the accused fell silent. It was as good as an invitation to vote as one could get at this time.
Unanimously, they fell upon Elgyem. Though the little alien had made an initial attempt to point a finger at Madeline, little else was done to sway the masses and between that and Morgan's information, her fate was sealed.
And when the realm went dark for the final time, instead of shattering, Elgyem's emera flashed and overpowered every other emera there with a blinding light, its surface gaining a rainbow sheen.
There it was, for all to see. The cause of all this: Awakening.
Tendrils of light emerged from the crystal, seeking out the remaining three to shatter but then...
"Hey now. Fair's fair," Zevya said, blowing a raspberry before stepping behind Elgyem and shattering the emera herself with a single, swift strike. Wait— Wasn't that arm broken just a moment before?
Elgyem (aer) was Eliminated and...

Zevya shook her head at Elgyem and sighed. "You know, after the performance you and your buddies put on, I really was rooting for you three. You know how fun it was listening in on your conversations with Drake and Spectrier over there?"
The zoroark looked around, a moment of realisation flashing across her features before her shoulders slumped. "Yeah, okay, so I miiiight have set this whole thing up from the start. Can you blame me though? I've been stuck here for gods know how long and I was starved for entertainment. But good on you for figuring things out! Surely you guys had some fun, right?"
She pulled out her journal, flicking it over to a page that seemed to track who had what power and what they did at night. "Come on, aren't you the least bit curious?"
Okay, so you're probably wondering who's who and what happened over night. Not to worry! I noted it all down here. Oh and! You're free to leave at any time, just find your leaf and go through it. You'll know it when you see it... Mine's just... all the way on the other side of this place. It's why I've been here so long, but seeing all of you here means that I'm getting close to mine.
Also, you can drop the pokémon forms and all that. This place sorta operates on a "your mind makes it real" kinda logic. I just thought the Mystery Dungeon aspect would be fun. Good to step outta your comfort zone!

A lot of stuff thrown around. Lotta good and bad luck for our evil team over there, especially with Rui thinking she was Investigator, or lucking out with their plan to frame Madeline as it turned out she was Morgan's red herring. Madeline missing her shot also would've been a huge relief – I know I would've been if I were in Elgyem's position there! Probably would've been a huge success if it wasn't for Dave throwing a wrench in things by successfully predicting Elgyem's target.
Pretty fun watching you guys freak out over Poison when it was taken out pretty early. Anyway! This game was super close and it was a blast watching it through. Already given props to the good team for figuring it out but I gotta give my flowers to the evil team for playing an absolute magnificent game. They did an incredible job and would've more than earned the victory if they'd gotten it.

Well played, everyone! The scumteam did great - Elgyem especially was thoroughly townread for most of it and just ended up a victim of the process of elimination.
Good show, y'all. Glad to have played in this one and had my small part in winning for town. This was perhaps the closest/tightest game I've been in, down to EoL on the final day. Wow! Some really great play here, aer had me totally convinced they were town until it was impossible not to suspect them by mechanical deduction. Mafia had a tough game, and y'all played well. Tetra, I genuinely doubted myself when you pulled that outrage routine, well done for being so convincing. Not convincing enough, but still. ;3 <3
