When Chronos heard of a strange "Devolution Stone" lurking in the depths of the Sinister Cave, he knew how dangerous things could be if it fell into the wrong hands. Unfortunately, the path to getting a hold of the stone required a Pokémon capable of going through small holes, which he couldn't do as a Glaceon. Thus, he sent his Shiny Ditto ward Blue Bubblo to help achieve the mission, which she was happy to do.
Unfortunately, Blue Bubblo's Ditto goo kept on reacting erratically to the stone once she obtained it. That's despite not having any stage to devolve into! She tried transforming into her usual Squirtle self, a Shiny Eevee, and a Chikorita. She even tried staying in her true blue blob form, but none of it helped. Without any proper genes to latch onto, the Devolution Stone just rendered her already primordial biology more unstable.
Those are the reasons why Blue Bubblo was pleasantly surprised when Zorua offered to hold the Devolution Stone for her, since the base-stage trickster's body would "react" better than primordial Pokégoo. However, there was a problem... ZAP! Zorua couldn't actually pull the stone off of the blue Ditto's body, as if it was glued on! So Zorua resorted to other means...
His eyes glowed light blue and he raises his front paws into the air. Just as quickly, he brings his paws down to the ground to create a pink and crimson force-field of energy which expands outwards from his body throughout the entire area. Blue Bubblo barely survived, but the stone knocked off of her and she stopped having the unstable reactions to it.
"Wow, thank you! But what did you just do?" Blue Bubblo asked Zorua.
"It was a Night Daze, let's just say it's my pride and joy move." Zorua smirked about it.
