Chapter 1: Unova can change

Hello.
Well, I had another idea (great).
We agree that there are many people who don't like BW in the anime?
Well, I knew that and researched the main reasons. And there are several.
So I unconsciously started thinking about how I would like to see or write certain criticized parts, as always, for fun.
Then when I realized it, I had practically thought about how to write the BW season from beginning to end. Trying to correct its most negative points.
And I liked what I thought so much that I now intend to do a rewrite.
But not at this exact moment, because I have a list that I want to (finally) respect. This idea is just being kept for when I can start (and when I watch everything to help contextualize).
The reason I'm posting this is because I want your help.
I'm not a very involved or aware fan of the Pokémon world, not much in the anime and even less in the games, manga and other media.
And I haven't thought of absolutely everything either, so there's room for a lot of ideas.
And since you guys are bigger fans than I am, I want to hear your ideas.
Whether it's about important parts, small details, or adding or removing certain things, I hope you'll comment with your ideas, because I'll read and respond as quickly as I can (I love comments).
Now, I'll present my initial ideas.
Initial because I may have more before starting this they are:
#Characters
-Ash: Obviously, the main point would be his apparent "regression," as well as improving some primary aspects of the character that I'd like to improve.
His experience would make him almost an advisor to his traveling companions.
-Iris: I would call Ash a "child" because she envies his greater maturity, constantly trying to believe that her age will never leave her behind him. But her initial apathy with her Pokémon relationships due to being a beginner would make her immature, as if she were a "less loving Ash," and this would create a chance for Ash to become a mentor to her and thus begin a development.
Cilan: He could be more mysterious, in the sense of being so optimistic and restless because he wants to stand out, but not as a champion, a star, or a famous person, just to be his own human being. Which would make all his goals a little false, but becoming true in the end.
Trip: He would be the character who would undergo the biggest change.
Instead of being malicious, he would simply be very intelligent, but a kind of genius completely uninterested in what he does.
He would feel discouraged because he never wanted to be a Pokémon trainer, but everyone around him talked so much about his exceptional talent that they ended up planting that idea in his head, and now he finds himself pressured, but without any objection. A genius by force.
This could be shown by him never participating in any battle that isn't official, making his Pokémon evolve in other ways, because he doesn't want to fight.

Honestly, I think Ash's team could be bigger.
Part of being a Pokémon trainer is having found every Pokémon in the world, so it makes sense to have more than is needed to enter a league.
But I would try to develop each of them, from the new ones to some old ones, because I always thought Ash should bring back some old ones to help, since he has so many.
And I also won't overshadow some, because each Pokémon needs its time.
I would also make Axew more timid, to highlight Iris's inexperience, making him dream of becoming Haxorus so Iris can be a better trainer, because the Pokémon is only as good as the trainer, so Axew would try to be better so that Iris becomes better, reversing the roles.
In addition to giving more space to other people's Pokémon like Cilan.
#World Expansion
This is probably the part I least intend to change; I'll just avoid filler episodes so it doesn't become tiresome for me.
And the few episodes outside of major events would be used to focus on Pokémon that need highlighting, as I mentioned before.
But I don't intend to exclude Pokémon from this story; I'll just organize it to learn about them in a more compact, yet still well-utilized way.
Of course, I will also correct other frustrating events, such as struggles or developmental directions.
Well, I think that's it.
Just one more thing, I respect those who may have liked Unova or not find a rewrite so interesting.
I don't hate Unova and honestly? I'm not a fan of rewrites, but I really liked the ideas I had.
I hope you like it and that you have ideas to offer.
