Blitz made the ":O" face to Astra. "Your world has humans?!?" His eyes were practically sparkling with excitement. His nerdiness was kicking in. "What are they like? What do they look like? Are they nice? Tell me everything!" The questions were spilling out of his mouth as he continued to yap.

“Guess a couple worlds have humans huh. They……. Humans can be about as complicated as we are. Tall and lanky like a lucario. They typically have little fur like salazzle aside from their heads.”

Astra takes a step back, putting his paws in the air - clearly not ready for this. "Well, yeah? Humans are everywhere and they build cities everywhere, and they are... around? History is old and I've kinda been slacking in that subject because I like scouting out competition and reading up on the different rules for battles..."

They shake their head. "Getting off topic, sorry. But yeah, humans are around, and I was just starting my League run with my trainer and I know they're not gonna do very well without me."

Blitz was as excited as a cub (even though he was 18). The new vocabulary was spiraling around his head. Competition, battles, league run, trainer. "That's so freakin' cool!" Blitz exclaimed. "But wait, 'League Run?' What does that mean? And-!" He cut himself off, realizing he was being far too eager. "S-Sorry, just curious..." he blushed, embarrassed.

Blitz tried to.imagine that. A bunch of humans using Pokémon to fight other humans. He couldn't really imagine it, it seemed impossible. Silly even.

"Weird..." Blitz muttered.

All of this talk about other worlds and timelines was really starting to make his head hurt.

Fennel scampered around the corner of the building, looking for the voices he'd heard in the distance. It looks like he'd finally found them, spotting a gathering of Pokemon near what looked like an entrance. Most of them seemed fairly ordinary, but there was one... scratch that. Two rather tall dragons.

He instinctively took a few steps back, ready to bolt, but it didn’t seem like anyone there was afraid. And well, his stomach growled, reminding him that he was awfully hungry...

He hurried over to the others, overhearing the last few bits of conversation. It sounded like they were ordering food?

"Hi, hi! Hello! Hello there!", he called to the tall dragon at the doorway. "I'd like a fresh lettuce and spinach sandwich, no sauce, but with oran berries on top, on rosemary infused bread. Or maybe Basil?"

He held a paw up to his cheek for a moment in contemplation. "Actually, rosemary AND basil", he said with a few satisfied nods.

Juliana also walked towards the sandwich shop, seeing a group of pokemon nearby. She heard the pokemon making their orders, and since the sandwiches looked delicious, she decided to make an order too. She didn't have any money or valuable possessions, so she could only hope the other pokemon had some kind of payment method that could also cover her order. After all, she had only arrived in this place a short time ago, transformed into a Charcadet.

"I would like a sandwich with olive oil, some cheese, a bit of lettuce, and a couple of pickles."

Israfel zones out for awhile to focus on figuring out his new body. After a couple of minutes he finally stops teetering, and figured out taking a few steps, but his legs are no longer straight but spread out like a squat. "Are feral Koraidons supposed to stand like this?" he says to no one in particular.
"by the way, Israfel right? are you a human by any chance?"
"Sorry, Metang. I forgot to answer this. No, I'm a pokemorph. I'm supposed to stand on two legs like a human. Humans haven't been seen in my world, but they are felt."

In fact, everyone's talking about humans in general. "Humans are supposed to be practitioners of evil magic, whose artifacts can bring ruin to the entire underground, and have before, but I don't know how much of that are lies. How true is this?"

"Hm.," they looked a bit dissapointed, guess they weren't human but at least he can empathize with not being used to having a different body "well, I don't think it's wholly true, seems like a generalization of a whole species, if anything"

"Sorry, but I don't have any money to pay for sandwiches..." he apologized.

"Ah, is that so?" the Noivern said, expression dimming. "That's a shame. What brings you here, then?"

"Do you happen to have leafy greens? I do not ask as charity, of course. A service for a service. You can provide it after. If you need something taken care of, well. My blades are yours."

This Pawniard, though, they knew how to convince a dragon. The Noivern hummed, then said, "Consider it done, Pawniard. Service for a service. I'll provide food for your companions as well, for no additional charge."

"Sandwiches? Cheese, please! The cheesiest, hottest and awesomest sandwich you have, please! Mr Bat Dragon!"

"My name is not 'Mr. Bat Dragon'," the Noivern said with a huff. A puff of steam hissed from the mechanism on their tail. "I'll get you our Cheesiest, though."

"Do you have PB&J...?"

"We do indeed!" the Noivern said. "What type of jelly would you like?"

“Blt if you can. With mayo.”

"Of course. Only the finest mayo, from Mr. Mayonnaise himself," the Noivern replied.

"Hi, hi! Hello! Hello there! I'd like a fresh lettuce and spinach sandwich, no sauce, but with oran berries on top, on rosemary infused bread. Or maybe Basil? Actually, rosemary AND basil."

"It will take some additional time to prepare special orders such as this, but I will be sure not to disappoint," the Noivern said. "You must be hungry. When was the last time you ate?"

"I would like a sandwich with olive oil, some cheese, a bit of lettuce, and a couple of pickles."

"Can do," the Noivern replied. "Which cheese would you like? If you have no preference, I recommend our specialty cheese blend. It's the boss' favorite."

"I... I guess I'll take a sandwich? Something without meat I guess, I'm not picky. But, I can't pay for it, cause I'm never the one in my party to carry the stuff, that's the trainer's job. Wait, why is a Pokémon running a shop? Isn't it illegal for a Pokémon to run a shop without human supervision?"

The Noivern tilted their head. "Humans? If that were the case, almost nobody would be able to run a shop. Where are you from, Treecko?"

"Humans are supposed to be practitioners of evil magic, whose artifacts can bring ruin to the entire underground, and have before, but I don't know how much of that are lies. How true is this?"

"I suppose 'evil magic' is one way of putting it. Humans are said to capable of granting wishes, I could see how one could use that for evil," the Noivern pondered aloud. "Though if I may be so bold as to ask, you say you're from underground? I suppose that'd explain why I've never seen your species before."

“While humans can possess magic its up to them what is done with it. The same goes for their advanced technology. Though in the pursuit of greed it could be said that they were evil”

Israfel crosses his arms to think for a few seconds.

"Hmm, this makes sense. I always suspected our legends about humans were twisted, perhaps on purpose. Hmm..." lost in thought for a few more seconds, before shaking the thoughts away. Instead, the Noivern prompts about his origins. "I'm from the underground, just like you and everyone else. Also, about food - I never heard of a sandwich before, nor any of these foods the others are talking about. Can you serve me a sandwich that, uh, hmm... Will keep me filled?"

He blinks. "Wait a minute..." he looks around. "Is everyone from the underground?"

His composure loosens as a realization washes over him. "Are we underground right now?"

I don't think we are underground right now. I lived in a house back in Paldea, above ground.

"We have a deal, then." The Pawniard smirked. This was his first time leading a hunt, in a strange sort of way. It spoke to most of the others' characters that they were hopeful to eat without an exchange. "Tell me what I can do for you. I won't ask questions."

He had come here for two reasons: to discern the situation and to get out. This talk about humanity registered, and he had much to say about how wonderful they are. But there was no reason to get involved in the conversation. There was a lot you could learn by simply listening.

Evil magic? Wishes? She had a hard time connecting the two with her own memories of humans. They always started running whenever she tried making friends with them.

Ooh, that was making her feel sad.

Oh well, no use in dwelling in the past.

She shook her head. "Nuh uh, humans aren't evil or magical. I have a trainer and he does his best to help people out whenever he could!"
He blinks. "Wait a minute..." he looks around. "Is everyone from the underground?"
"Underground?" she mumbled. "Nope! I used to live in waay high up! In a giant castle made of the coolest greatest ice in the whole world!"

It was nice and roomy! Made of hard solid ice where not even the hottest flame could melt. Though it did get a little lonely even with the ice statues she had at home.

She held out her hands, blowing out a small breath of frost and making a little replica castle in her hands. "See? Look! It looks exactly like this." She let out a proud chuckle. "I even made it myself!"

"I'm from Viridian City? In Kanto?" Astra looks around. "Where the Indigo League takes place? I mean, even wild Pokémon might know what that is, right?"

He blinks. "Wait a minute..." he looks around. "Is everyone from the underground?"

His composure loosens as a realization washes over him. "Are we underground right now?"
"I'd be concerned either way right now to be honest. If I'm still underground then that means I'm probably still under stupid Mount Moon, and if I'm above ground that means I have no clue how I got out of Mount Moon."
