You awaken from a slumber you hadn't realized you entered.

Something feels off.

Your surroundings are different than you remembered. Perhaps even your body is different.

One thing's for certain.

This isn't your home.

As if by magic, several Pokemon appeared in a large, dim area. The ground beneath feels like metal, and the surroundings seem to be made of the same material.

Light trickles in through a glass skylight up above, ensuring that wherever these Pokemon are, it's at least not pitch black. It may be difficult to make out, but there's a few things of note here, wherever they are.

First was the smell. Wherever they were, it smelled oddly like sandwiches. It'd take a bit of focus to discern the exact ingredients of the sandwiches, especially by scent alone.

Every so often, the area they're in jolts a bit, as if it's shaking. The sound of screeching metal is faintly audible.

There were several boxes around. It's too dark to fully make out the labels without getting closer to the boxes, but a cold air seeped from them.

On the far side of the area was what appeared to be a large, bulky door, made out of the same material as their surroundings.

Most notably, there seems to be a small building nearby, situated right beneath the skylight. It's difficult to make out details, but there appears to be a sign above the entryway, depicting a Noivern biting into a sandwich. Interestingly, unlike the rest of their surroundings, the building doesn't seem to be made of metal.

Wherever these Pokemon were, it was certainly a strange place.

Marteau looked back and forth, taking in these new surroundings. This sure was one strange dream he appeared to be having. It felt more real than usual, too.

"Clou?" He called out into the dimly lit room. None of the other pokemon here appeared to be his bird hubby. In fact, none of them appeared familiar to the Tinkaton at all. Not waiting for anyone else to rouse, he walked curiously towards the apparent sandwich shop with the intent to investigate.

Blitz's world was spinning. Either he was losing his mind or he was hallucinating. One thing was for sure though. This wasn't his hometown.

"Hello?" Blitz called out to the void. His hand searched for his pendant, which was, thankfully, still there. Ok, so not everything about this place was different. Slowly, he approached the "sandwich shop," to get a better look. His stomach growled in protest. Oh no, now I'm hungry...

Astra blinks rapidly, eyes adjusting to what little light there is. Last thing he remembers is squeezing through tunnels in Mount Moon with his trainer, which he thought was a bad decision that is now proving why it is a bad decision. His paw drifted to his chest, gripping his star charm, as he sits up and gets a bearing of his surroundings.

He looks over several other Pokémon, most of which he has no clue about. A giant grass bird, a gray fluffy... thing, something covered in knives, a toddler on fire, and some kind of dinosaur, just to name a few.

"What in the Arc is happening?"

It isn't quite as dim for Israfel, who has to raise a claw over his eyes to block what light there was above. He doesn't pay mind to any of the Pokemon around him, shouting to the open air "Hey, what's going on? You're trying to get something from me?" as if there's some malefactor further away would hear him. No response obviously, so he tries to stand up straight - too straight for a Koraidon - and he tumbles onto his back. "Oh what the hell?" He snarls as he pats down his body. There's a huge tire wedged right in the middle of his chest, his shoulders were lower (or is head taller?), his legs were shaped differently, and proportions of his body felt off. Something really wrong is going on.

It's now he realizes the Pokemon around him aren't just Pokemon, but are talking as well. "You guys-" he says, trying to roll onto his fours, but having an awkward time. "Were you just transformed into Pokemon too?"

Shadow takes her time getting her bearings. Closely observing all of the others present while taking inventory of what she has.
Finally heaving a sigh as she mutters to herself. “Looks like itll be a while”

Choosing to stand post near the sandwich shack and continue to watch everyone present.

Blitz looked up at the Koraidon, seemingly noticing him for the first time. Arceus, that guy is huge! His brain skipped a beat at the line "transformed into Pokémon".

Blitz gave the Koraidon a blank stare. "What do you mean 'transformed'?" he asked. A seemingly innocent question. "Where are we? Arceus almighty, what is going on?" He suddenly burst out, shouting at the heavens for an answer.

The large Koraidon eventually manages to get himself rolled over, the small pieces of gold jewelry around his neck and wrists clinking around. He is trying to stand on all fours, but the way he arcs his back and forces his four legs straight look unnatural. "Look at yourself," he says assuredly. "We're no longer Pokemorphs. Something's happened to our bodies."

...What's a pokemorph?

Shadow speaks up from her position.

“If i may be so bold to suggest. I think each of us are from different places if not worlds. I dont know whats different but this isnt home.
We should figure out where we are first”

Blitz stared at the Koraidon. "Poke-wha?" he shook his head. "Actually, never mind. I'll ask later."

Different worlds? Somehow that wasn't the craziest thing that Blitz had heard that day. "Yeah, can we get names too? Maybe it's a good idea for us to team up? My name's Blitz..." he suddenly turned red, seemingly embarrassed.

The Koraidon balances on one front leg to bring the other claw up to rub his chin, teetering a small bit. Seems like some body language habits die hard. He takes a few seconds on this.

"There's an easy way to tell if the Decidueye is right. Have any of you heard of Scrap Town or Canal City? Where would you guys be from?" He asks.

He does not share his own name. Or at least, not yet.

Blitz shook his head. "No... I'm from Seikatsu Village. I'm guessing none of you have heard of it." Blitz looked around. "Sooo... how exactly did we get here then? Some Pokémon magic time travel BS?" he wondered aloud.

"Well, I'm Astra. From Viridian City, and I was in Mount Moon. And I also have no idea what any of those places are." He gets to his feet. "This does seem like some weird world-hopping story that my trainer would tell me for sure." He takes a deep breath in, and then out. "We just have to... stay calm, and figure out how we got here, then figure out how to get back, right? I mean, it seems reasonable that if we knew how we got here, we could figure out a way back, right?"

Maglev jolts awake from their slumber. looking around to see they aren't in the guild anymore. "Oh. looks like i've been taken somewhere unfamiliar, again.." He scans the area to notice the current conversation, approaching the group rather cautiously. "Hello, do you mons know where we are right now? this place.. doesn't seem like treasure town to me, looks like a warehouse."

“That would stand to reason. That is unless we are here for a purpose. Then the way back is likely success or less so failure”

Shadow doesn’t seem to be bothered by this at all. Simply stating what she thinks

Israfel attempts to get back onto two legs, wobbling his upper arms, and keeping his legs spread. Even though he has the most balance with them spread, he slowly keeps trying to bringing them together, which causes him to teeter. Despite his intense focus on keeping his balance, he keeps up with the conversation.

"It's probably some human dark magic. I've seen a bit of it first hand, it's effects are pretty wild," he says very confidently and likely incorrectly. He flails his arms to catch himself before he falls forward. "I would hesitate being certain about anything though. For now, our greatest disadvantage is information. And food. We'll want to secure that before we starve, not after."

Blitz glanced at the Koriadon as his stomach growled once more. "Well, there's a sandwich shop here, at least I think it is. Problem is we don't have any money..." He looked towards the group. "Should we just go in? If this is a test or something, it's better to do it sooner rather than later, right?"

Blitz gave Israfel a wave. "Nice to meet ya, man." Blitz was getting impatient now. "Alrighty, let's do this!" Blitz exclaimed, entering the apparent sandwich shop. What could possibly go wrong? He thought to himself sarcastically.
