Day 21--Second Chance


"I need to see it...the future..." Turo murmured, the last thing he knew before losing consciousness.

He expected to know nothing after that. Surely his wounds were too grievous.

So the dim hum of machinery and feeling of a bed beneath him, ebbing around his awareness, came as a dull surprise.

Slowly, weakly, he opened his eyes.

"Good to see you!" chirped a voice that seemed to come from a mechanical being beside him, the accented Paldean indicating it wasn't the thing's native language. "You're fortunate. They couldn't have healed you in your era."

His dying wish was a beginning.

Day 22--Expedition



There was so much more to explore. What was behind those crystals around the Zero Lab? What was in that cave to the side, before the central cavern? What was the source of that water on the lowest layer? WAS it the lowest? That crystal thing from the Scarlet Book had to be around somewhere.

Heck, Florian hadn't seen many of the creatures in the book. And he hadn't found any Herba Mystica despite the book saying it originated from the crater.

As he packed for a few days of exploration, he wondered if this was how Sada had been.
