How to Submit Your Story to Thousand Roads' Tumblr
Thousand Roads' Tumblr account, fyeahpokefic, is always looking for new stories to feature! It also has an associated library, where stories will be permanently displayed and interested readers can use some basic filtering options to find ones they'd like to read. If you're interested in having your work featured on fyeahpokefic, you can submit it by posting in this thread using one of the forms below, no Tumblr account required.
I'd like this Tumblr to be a nice collection of pokémon fanfics from across the internet, not just this community, so if you know of someone who posts fanfic-related content but doesn't go here, please let me know so that I can add their work as well! It's very difficult to find fic on Tumblr as it is, and I'd like for this blog to make it easier for anyone who might be interested... as well as get the word out about the wonderful stories we have here in this community, of course. ;)
But you're probably most concerned with how to get your own work out there! So without further ado...
How to Submit Story Updates/Normal Posts
If you put out a new chapter and want to put an announcement on the blog, this is the form you use! If possible, please consider submitting a post or @mentioning fyeahpokefic in a post you'd like us to reblog. This is much easier on the mods, and it means you can format your post however you like. If you can't do that, though, feel free to fill out the form below, and we'll take care of getting a post on the blog for you!
Form instructions: All the form fields are optional. When choosing tags, remember that your post will appear in search results only for the first five (if any--if you include multiple links, for example, your post won't show up almost no matter what you do!). Therefore, it's a good idea to put tags for characters or concepts you think people might be searching for at the top of the list, and tags for things like story rating towards the end. For general guidelines about what kinds of tags to add, check out fyeahpokefic's submission guidelines.
We're also happy to reblog other pokémon fanfic-related content you might have. Feel free to submit fic recs, writing prompts, ask memes, or any fanfic-related posts you found funny or helpful!
How to Submit Stories to the Library
The library is a permanent repository of fic, where people can find your story even if it hasn't been updated in a while. Stories submitted to the library do not need to be posted here on Thousand Roads, but they do need to be pokémon fanfic.
Once you're story's added to the library, it's there to stay. If you want to make changes to the listing later on--for example, to change an "ongoing" story to "complete"--you can post here to say what changes you'd like made to the listing, or you can message me informally, on Discord or by VM, whatever. You don't have to fill out the form again!

In the future I may look into a system that allows people to use more than one tag for each category, but for now, one each is all that works. This does mean that you can choose only one genre for your story. All submissions will be added to the blog's queue. Note that in order to avoid flooding people's dashboards, the queue is throttled to only post a small number of items per day, which means that it may take a little while for your submission to show up. Because fic update posts are the most temporally constrained kinds of posts, they will be prioritized, and every effort will be made to have the update post appear within a week of your submission. Other kinds of content may take longer to appear, depending on the size and composition of the queue.
