Plusle was dead... but also, Plusle and Lopunny were confirmed friends, for real. That was very good to know in a game where most things learned were questionable. But now he needed to figure out if Leafeon or Squirtle was more suspicious.

- Squirtle's information had been correct. The only way he could be evil would be for him to be a spy. His team would have known ahead of time that Big Ears was not in the game (Mismagius had asked this). They would have needed to give him instructions to use his spy-findings to make a correct call, maybe with a list of potential roles to reveal? Would the evil people have even wanted to make the 'virgin' public? Also, if he was a spy, then he was not the 'scarlet woman', so Leafeon's information was wrong.
- Leafeon's information was wrong, so either she was drunk, or poisoned, or lying. Lying did not require the evil people to have a spy, only to know that Investigator was not in the game ahead of time.

I would have to assume nobody else is Investigator to counter claim me, and I immediately open myself up for suspicion the second either of my accusations flips town

She winked to signify that, yes, that was a pun. A halfhearted attempt to get a rise out of Rui. She'd had her fill with the rat, and didn't feel the need to give the plant the same treatment on the way down. Wouldn't be enough time to bask in it anyway.

[[One last post before bed bc I had a nice shower think: there is the possibility that Drunk Rui's information is *all* wrong. Meaning we actually have no good scum suspects at the moment.

Watt was obviously cleared, but that doesn't automatically make Hareta suspect either. (given we also have someone corroborating their innocence, unverified though.)

We also know the investigator role is off the table either way, as afaik, Drunk uses a Town role that isn't in play, just like the GM assigned scum fake claims.

It's unlikely Poisoning is in play despite its priority in night actions. Afaik, Spy information is distributed at Night END, meaning if it was a poison shot, it was a damn lucky one to hit an Investigator. Not impossible, but more unlikely.

The good news is, Rui gets to stay in the game upon elimination and as either Poisoned or Drunk, does not lose an active power by being eliminated. Yes it's a numbers game, and town takes a hit, but not losing a power is a boon. Obv if this is all a bluff then removing a scum team power is good.

Now though I need to sleep. Rocky's pilot is angry, tired, stupid. It's been far too long since last sleep.

It had been... A day.

At first, the conversation felt slow, like not much had been happening, a few naive comments aside. Zevya had begun to grow bored only for sweet Rui, for better or worse, to make a bold claim with her sparkling emera. Pandemonium followed. Shouts and accusations echoed through the liminal grove and fingers found themselves pointed towards Watt. This is it, everyone might've thought. A smoking gun, but when Hareta explained himself, an idea began to form.

And when Watt pointed towards Odette to accuse her...

The lopunny's emera flashed. A powerful, invisible force knocked Watt clean off his feet, his emera and all leading theories disintegrating in the blast. It was almost too effective as everyone could see Watt's soul leaving his body. Literally. A sight that Zevya rolled her eyes at. She nudged the plusle's body, glancing at his ghost. "You don't have to do that, you know," she sighed with a shake of her head. "But hey, if you like cosplaying as a ghost-type, you do you."

The light soon faded from Odette's emera. It looked duller. Still intact, it was clear that it wasn't going to do anything like that again, but whatever it was, it was proof of innocence for both pokémon.

Quite the shock to the system, to put it lightly. With nowhere else to turn to, the glares fell on Hareta and then, as the logic unwound, the one who'd started this mess...

Rui.

The votes piled on. Was she lying? She had to be. Or maybe her emera was faulty or tampered with, but who knew? Whatever the reasoning, the consensus remained the same: It was safer this way. That emera was either a danger or dead weight – an acceptable sacrifice.

And as everyone grew drowsy as the light of the leaves began to dim, every emera began to glow within the looplets of those who'd voted for the leafeon, beams of light emerging from every one to focus on Rui's (maybe the powder that used to be Watt's emera could manage something like that too). The rays grew stronger and stronger, the emera's prismatic reflections almost blinding until—
