Introduction​

Greetings, fellow writers and readers. I invite you to participate in my most recent project, a tale that features multiple dimensions.

The way it works is simple: think of a Pokémon media you enjoy (Anime, TCG, PMD etc.), an alternate timeline that you wish had happened (e.g. an evil organization rules the world), or even a niche concept you have been working on. Then share it in this thread, where multiple worlds come together.

Have you ever thought of a twist that you wish more people noticed? Have you written a story, yet the plot was so niche that you wished to attract more readers? Or do you simply wish to see a concept, big or small, in my project people remember as yours? With your suggestions, I aim to define the worlds within my project and accomplish all of the above. Feel free to write down the medias/timelines/concepts whenever you want.

Major Details​

Starting Point​

Right after the events of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys.

Main Characters​

Ash, Pikachu, Jessie, James, and Meowth.

Main Conflict​

A device, designed like a bracer, strands Ash and Pikachu away from home, stuck between alternate dimensions. Even worse, they longtime adversaries, Jessie, James, and Meowth, are bound to follow them, whichever world the duo goes to.

Goal​

My story features two major objectives, one subordinated to the other:

1. Ash and Pikachu must return to their home world;
2. Ash and Pikachu must learn to develop a good relationship with Team Rocket. Only through genuine cooperation will they be able to return home.

Middle Acts​

How each character behaves throughout the story, in chronological order:

The escalation:​

Ash and Pikachu start off borderline hating Team Rocket, and they despise the duo just as much. However, once the duo finds out they depend on their nemeses, Ash and Pikachu call a truce with them. That sudden change did not get through Jessie, James, and Meowth, who set their hopes at gaining the recognition they have never gotten back home. With that, the truce falters. And yet Ash and Pikachu cannot bring themselves to dump all their boiling emotions towards Team Rocket.

The turnaround:​

Throughout their journey, Ash and Pikachu have moments where they end up empathizing with Jessie, James, and Meowth. After these moments, Ash and Pikachu realize that building a genuine relationship with them is not only possible, but also their best bet at returning home. At that, Team Rocket remains hostile. Nonetheless, the duo starts listening to, supporting, and even making concessions for them. Through that kindness, Jessie, James, and Meowth undergo their own redemption arc, facing all the harsh truths that their pride wouldn't allow them to.

The aftermath:​

After so many chapters, Ash and Pikachu become genuine allies with Jessie, James, and Meowth. Now their goal is to return home, where Ash promises them a spot on his journey.

True Climax​

Returning home becomes simple. However, one mistake could destroy their newfound relationship. Facing the test of their lives, Ash, Pikachu, Jessie, James, and Meowth must not only cooperate, but also fully embrace their bond with each other.

Resolution​

Once back home, Ash and Pikachu fulfill their partnership promise with the trio; Jessie, James, and Meowth disband from Team Rocket; and the group travels together. They start recalling places, going around towns, having friendly battles, among others. More importantly, they carry on their adventures together, where their rivalry is all but a memory.

Furthermore, I highlight that any Pokémon universe is allowed. Including, but not limited to, anime, manga, Nintendo games, TCG, PMD, Pokémon Masters, Pokémon GO, and even original settings. Anything not excessively disturbing is welcome.
