Prince of Po Town Character Index (Chapter 40 edition)
Here's a doc to keep track of Prince of Po Town's many characters, be they original or canon. I'll list them by faction. CTRL+F will probably be best for the character you're looking for. This isn't keeping track of every single character, this a tracker for characters that will be more or less relevant plot-wise. This will be re-posted in ten chapters or so with updates to key characters. There are some easter eggs for arc 4 in here. Not doing "appearances" for canon characters unless they are significantly different from their canon representation.

Team Skull
Ian Cougar (was Derry)
Appearance: Messy brown hair, 6'2, lean build (and even more lean the longer he's in Po Town)
Notes: Our former pizza place supervisor turned Isekai protagonist who got sent to one of the roughest places to survive on Ula'Ula Island. After Tapu Bulu blessed his Deerling, evolving it into an OP Sawsbuck, he's helping turn Po Town's situation around.
Known Pokemon: Sawsbuck, Pyroar, Wartortle, Alpha Tyrunt, Alolan-Sandslash, Morgrem
Plumeria
Notes: Po Town and Team Skull's resident "Big Sis." Leader of Team Skull's most elite squad that tracks and raids Ultra Storms. She is largely known as the heart and soul of Po Town.
Known Pokemon: Salazzle, Alolan-Muk, Poipole, Varoom, Haunter, Arbok, Toxapex
Tupp
Appearance: Generic male Team Skull grunt from SM/USUM.
Notes: Grew up in Tapu Village, the rough part of Haina Town. He was close with Isaac before Isaac passed away a few weeks before Ian's arrival. He's Ian's best friend and wants to get matching "Bro's for life" tattoos with Ian. Tupp's older brother lived in Haina Town, but Tupp's not sure if he and his wife/child still do (this has not been mentioned in the narrative yet).

Mina
Appearance: The Fairy Type Trial Captain of Poni Island, just in a Team Skull uniform.
Notes: Born and raised in Seafolk Village, she was passed over for Trial Captain-ship because of an arrangement between the elderly caretaker of the Poke Pelago.
Known Pokemon: Ribombee, Smeargle, Oricorio (Sensu style),
Hyde
Appearance: Dark blonde hair, green eyes, light skin, likes to wear his beanie to the side.
Notes: Hates Unovans for the death of his brother in what was apparently a training accident. Has his brother's old watch which he superglued together since it appeared to be falling apart.
Known Pokemon: Torracat, Baltoy,
Selene
Appearance: The female SM/USUM protagonist but in a Team Skull uniform.
Notes: Was on her Island Challenge when things went bad. She managed to escape Haina Town when Breon took over the town and has been with Team Skull ever since. I will mention she doesn't have "protag powers" because she wasn't recognized by Tapu Koko at the beginning of her Island Challenge but is one of the stronger trainers in Po Town.

Rapp (Seraphine Stocke)
Appearance: Female Team Skull grunt
Notes: Born and raised in Tapu Village (the rough part of Haina Town) and like a sister to Tupp. Wanted to become a nurse like the only adult who was ever kind to her growing up.
Known Pokemon: Comfey, Galarian-Ponyta, Fomantis, Stufful,
Guzma Doa
Appearance: Destruction in human form, baby.
Notes: Was a squad leader in Keahi's Cinders (Keahi being the former Kahuna and de-facto mayor of Po Town) when Keahi entrusted Guzma and Plumeria with watching out for the town as she led her attack on the Lake of the Sunne.
Known Pokemon: Golisopod, Mega-Scizor, Alpha-Ariados, Larvesta,
Rook
Appearance: Very handsome, tan skin, goatee, a few years older than Ian.
Notes: One of Team Skull's "Bones" (top cadre), and is in charge of the defensive squads of Po Town. He was one of former Kahuna Keahi's inner circle and took part in the attack on the Lake of the Sunne. He returned to Po Town when things went south, becoming a begrudging subordinate to Guzma.
Stompz
Appearance: Dark skinned, Galarian, tall,
Notes: Recently promoted squad leader under Rook, picked up by Plumeria's squad from an Ultra Storm a couple months back.
Known Pokemon: Perrserker
Lex
Appearance: Dyed blonde hair, biker-chick vibe, resting bitch face.
Notes: Leader of the southern border squad, de-facto operating supervisor of the radio network. She disappeared with Gaeric while drunk as hell on Leppa Berry Moonshine and has a casual romantic interest in the Pearl Clan's "muscle muffin."
Ruckz
Appearance: He's huge, standing well over 6'6.
Notes: He's one of the squad leaders and is Rook's younger brother.

Trickz
Appearance: Native Alolan complexion with brown eyes and long black hair.
Notes: Known as one of if not the most competent squad leader in Team Skull. Beefs with Rook so he was sent to guard/patrol the eastern border (mostly watching for Surge).

General Po Town Population ("Dirtbags" as Tupp calls them)
Tom
Appearance: Older latino man, hard face but a genuine smile.
Notes: One of Team Skull's Bones. He's in charge of the general maintenance of the town.
Doc
Appearance: Older Asian woman, speaks in broken English (Galarian?)
Notes: A doctor from Haina Town, goes by "Doc" so word doesn't get back to Breon where she is and her children are punished.
Grillz
Appearance: Has a grizzled gray beard, wears a bandanna like a biker, has shiny fake teeth. (Yes, pun intended)
Notes: Runs "The Grill," the town's de-facto cafeteria.
Keahi
Appearance: Middle-aged Alolan woman with long, black hair. She has a faded Tapu symbol on her pal, which is the traditional mark of the Kahuna.
Notes: The former Kahuna of Ula'Ula Island and leader of the Po Town-based group "Keahi's Cinders." After attacking the Lake of the Sunne with her most trusted four trainers, Tapu Bulu exiled her. She now lives on Breakwater Isle, just north of Outrigger which seems to qualify to Tapu Bulu.
Known Pokemon: Tapu Bulu severed her bonds with her Pokemon, making her unable to command them anymore.
Driftwood Guild Members (that we know of)
Neroli Neimaka
Appearance: Has pink hair, wears a standard Driftwood Guild uniform of: Khaki shorts, green shirt, brown vest, and a camo baseball hat.
Notes: Has Psychic Pokemon and is Acerola's big sister, and seems pretty chummy with Zack Tatum of the Rough Raiders.
Elel
Appearance: Standard Driftwood Guild uniform, darker skin, native Alolan.
Notes: Another member of the Driftwood Guild.
Pearl Clan
Irida
Notes: Leader of the Pearl Clan. Her want to fix the disturbance in space-time caused her to perform a ritual to strengthen Palkia, which went wrong and landed the Hisuian Clan forward in time and to a different place.

Gaeric Wolfhart
Notes: Irida's mentor and a major combatant in the Pearl Clan. Has a developing relationship with Lex of Team Skull.

Notes: The Unovan man who fell through space and time twice. He's a quiet mentor figure for Ian, as he was for Rei in Hisui. Wants to find his brother once the Pearl Clan is settled safely but knows not where to start.

Lian
Notes: The Pearl Clan's resident ore specialist.

Notes: A close friend and confidant of Irida, and one of the Pearl Clan's wardens.

Haina Town
Breon
Appearance: Has not appeared yet (but he has the appearance of an Alola Veteran trainer class)
Notes: The tyrannical leader of Haina Town. He was a strong, beloved trainer until he was injured in an Ultra Storm in the early days of the Ultra Rift and went in a coma. Upon waking up, he was never the same since, and mutinied against the Alolan Security Forces, taking over the town. Has a strange obsession with capturing young women.

Seth
Appearance: Looks like the spitting image of an Ace Trainer from gen 7.
Notes: He is Breon's number two and uses his Malamar to mentally and emotionally torture dissidents into compliance.

Appearance: Has not appeared yet.
Notes: Her Trial Site has been turned into a haunted jail for those who disobey Breon, and she's the warden.
Sinclair's Pirates
Benedict "Benny" Sinclair Jr. (Coloquially known as "Sinclair")
Appearance: Has not physically appeared yet.
Notes: The dutiful son to the owner of Alola's main shipping company. Once his father was taken into custody and accidentally killed, he took as many boats from Malie City's marina and went pirate. Has harassed ASF ships and even tangled with Unova Marines.
Known Pokemon: Alpha Barbarcle,
Ol' Red
Appearance: We saw him faintly at night (he led the attack on Po Town's crop fields after the first day).
Notes: Benedict Sinclair's (senior) best friend and top deputy. Now number two to Benedict Jr.

Rough Raiders
Ted Beaumont
Appearance: Older, weathered face with a thick moustache and glasses. He normally wears a brown cowboy hat, matching vest, with a black shirt and blue jeans.
Notes: A co-leader of the Rough Raiders, was former ASF but saw the incompetence and willingness to bend to Breon he partnered up with actual outlaws to protect the people who live in Blush Beach.

Zack Tatum
Appearance: Wears a uniform similar to Ted Beaumont. He has the complexion of a native Alola with green eyes that Ian oddly didn't think "fit."
Notes: One of the more ASF-aligned Rough Raiders, more loyal to Ted than to Alton Davies
Known Pokemon: Mudsdale,
Alton "Silver Eyes" Davies
Appearance: Black shirt, silver vest, jeans, making them look more like a biker gang than actual cowboys.
Notes: The original head of Ula'Ula's top outlaw group. When things fell apart, he made an alliance with Ted Beaumont and the two are essentially co-captains of the faction, although Ted Beaumont is the more recognizable leader to most outsiders.

Alolan Security Forces (ASF)
General Eric Vetra
Appearance: Typical khaki ASF uniform, in his late 40s with a worn, weathered face.
Notes: Commander of the ASF on Ula'Ula Island, widely viewed as weak and ineffective. Rumors circulated he was only picked for the position because he has a Flygon which could hypothetically counter Surge's Zapdos. He is mainly wrapped around the finger of Warrant Officer Barazaki.

Major Anabel Towers
Appearance: Faller Anabel from generation 7 just in a military uniform.
Notes: Was picked up by the Aether Foundation from an Ultra Wormhole and when the Ultra Rift appeared she joined the Alolan Security Forces (ASF). Mohn pulled strings to make her Gladdion's commanding officer.
Known Pokemon: Espeon,
Suzy-Marie Hartwell
Appearance: Black hair, ASF uniform with a hair accessory that looks like the Rainbow Badge won from Celadon City's gym.
Notes: An alternate universe version of Ian's ex-girlfriend where he cheated on her. After emerging in an Ultra Storm outside of Malie City she was seen by Gladdion and it was love at first sight. Has been on a meteoric rise and is close with Warrant Officer Barazaki. She's being scouted for a music deal because she's passing off songs from our world (mostly Taylor Swift songs) as her own.
Known Pokemon: Zygarde, Charmeleon (shiny), Lucario, Kirlia,
Gladdion Aether
Appearance: Like from the games but just in a military uniform.
Notes: The oldest son of Mohn and Lusamine Aether (worth billions) and regarded as basically royalty by the people of Alola. During his Island Challenge, the Ultra Rift appeared and he felt compelled to join the ASF.
Known Pokemon:
Hau Ikaika
Appearance: Hau from the Gen 7 games but in an ASF uniform.
Notes: Member of the ASF, very polite and cheerful despite all that's gone on. Is the most outgoing of the group.
Known Pokemon: Decidueye,
Colress (Faller)
Appearance: Same looks as Colress from the gen 7 games, but with a noticeable scar above his right eyebrow.
Notes: Appeared near the Ultra Rift but not from an Ultra Storm. Claims he accidentally came to this Alola in an Ultra Wormhole but suspiciously has his memory intact. Has a high-tech Silph Bag and vast resources within, including numerous Comet Shards, Nuggets of varying sizes, TMs, etc. Has taken a tremendous interest in Ian and his Blessed Sawsbuck. He's searching for Cosmog and something called the "Master Orb," a bright silver orb that supposedly can bend even Legendary Pokemon to its will, but can only command one more Pokemon. Before leaving with Major Anabel Towers' team to Malie City, he gave Ian a Beast Ball and told Ian if Ian could fetch one or both of the things he seeks, Ian would be rewarded beyond his wildest dreams.

Warrant Officer Erika Barazaki
Appearance: Pale East-Asian skin, speaks with a refined elegance. Her black hair is done up in a bun with a Rainbow Badge hair accessory on the back.
Notes: She appeared not long after the Ultra Rift crisis became a national emergency. She's outside the regular chain of command and has General Eric Vetra wrapped around her finger. She's a close mentor to Suzy-Marie and is aware of the meta-knowledge Suzy-Marie knows.

Notes: An alternate universe version of Ian's ex-girlfriend where he cheated on her. After emerging in an Ultra Storm outside of Malie City she was seen by Gladdion and it was love at first sight. Has been on a meteoric rise and is close with Warrant Officer Barazaki. She's being scouted for a music deal because she's passing off songs from our world (mostly Taylor Swift songs) as her own.

Gladdion Aether
Appearance: Like from the games but just in a military uniform.
Notes: The oldest son of Mohn and Lusamine Aether (worth billions) and regarded as basically royalty by the people of Alola. During his Island Challenge, the Ultra Rift appeared and he felt compelled to join the ASF.

Hau Ikaika
Appearance: Hau from the Gen 7 games but in an ASF uniform.
Notes: Member of the ASF, very polite and cheerful despite all that's gone on. Is the most outgoing of the group.
Known Pokemon: Decidueye,
Colress (Faller)
Appearance: Same looks as Colress from the gen 7 games, but with a noticeable scar above his right eyebrow.
Notes: Appeared near the Ultra Rift but not from an Ultra Storm. Claims he accidentally came to this Alola in an Ultra Wormhole but suspiciously has his memory intact. Has a high-tech Silph Bag and vast resources within, including numerous Comet Shards, Nuggets of varying sizes, TMs, etc. Has taken a tremendous interest in Ian and his Blessed Sawsbuck. He's searching for Cosmog and something called the "Master Orb," a bright silver orb that supposedly can bend even Legendary Pokemon to its will, but can only command one more Pokemon. Before leaving with Major Anabel Towers' team to Malie City, he gave Ian a Beast Ball and told Ian if Ian could fetch one or both of the things he seeks, Ian would be rewarded beyond his wildest dreams.

Warrant Officer Erika Barazaki
Appearance: Pale East-Asian skin, speaks with a refined elegance. Her black hair is done up in a bun with a Rainbow Badge hair accessory on the back.
Notes: She appeared not long after the Ultra Rift crisis became a national emergency. She's outside the regular chain of command and has General Eric Vetra wrapped around her finger. She's a close mentor to Suzy-Marie and is aware of the meta-knowledge Suzy-Marie knows.
