I kinda just want to do enough reviews to get a forum companion, that's about it

Yeah at least i wont have to scramble to get that companion... heres my updated to-do list then...


So plans and first encounters right? Updated progress list. My goal is to hit 5 chapters of whatever... since I just wrapped up a longfic run already.

Wound up tackling a looong fic and tabbing it onto this list, nipping a chapter off of my tales of arrival off the roster as a result.

The prizes available will greatly affect how hard I go on this. There is only one kind of prize in particular I want and it towers above all the rest...

There are some potential prizes I would consider consolation prizes though. Unless the prizes are a serious disappointment, I will definitely be participating to at least some extent.

As for which stories I plan to hit, that is TBD until I can see what the prizes look like. I don't want to list out more than I will get to because I don't want to disappoint any authors that might be excited about it. I do plan to list them once I know what I'm doing though.

Ah, sorry. I think there's been some confusion--the mini review blitzes are quite different from our yearly Review Blitz. Review three fics, receive a forum companion prize; there's no points or prize tiers or anything of the sort. You can see last year's for an idea of how they work.

Ah ok! Thanks for specifying! I wasn't sure if it would work differently than ones in the past.

Disclaimer: My reviews should be considerably over a likely word count minimum but I just want to throw out here that I would normally do even bigger reviews for them than that if it was part of a review exchange, but there is a lot of word count in the fic, and the contest will be timed, so my reviews might not have as much depth to them as I would normally try to offer. Even so, I imagine/hope they will be welcomed!

So it seems this blitz will allow for completion for 3 chapters of reviews instead of needing 5 for what I had in mind. In that case, I'm going to put the same amount of effort into 3 chapters as I had planned for 5. The result will be less chapters reviewed, but more quality in the reviews I do leave.
