By evolving into Salamence, Marl had finally realized her life-long dream of growing wings. Yet a fateful injury and the adjustments her team has to make for it leaves little if any joy for her to express. Now in a region far from home, in a tournament she is unprepared and unsuited for, Marl must navigate her grudges and fears and find a way to reclaim her dreams of flight.
