Hi everyone! These are my drabbles for drabble bingo.
Fake plants
The chikorita walks out of the office building, away from the evergreen ivy and miniature trees potted with confetti and permanently blooming cherrims. She finds a sunny spot in the courtyard, absorbing sunlight through a layer of smog.
It was nice that she could get a job like this. No more physical labor, an id card that proves she can go to a building specifically designed for her to do her job, and an income enough to buy premium fertilizer every day. All things she wished her neck was long enough to reach five years ago.
Still, it felt a little bit wrong even at the best of times.
The balcony at night
It's a grand platform, the balcony of the Lumiose Society of Battle Connoisseurs. Jacinthe would not settle for anything less. When the battles in the ballroom finished, there were the open-air battles underneath the night sky.
Lebanne likes sweeping. Jacinthe's personality winds its way into her tournament, and Lebanne's clothing, and her building. This could be a crystalstained alleyway, or a rough muddy garden, but due to Jacinthe's extravagance, it's an area that's beautiful to exist in no matter what Lebanne's doing.
Even cleaning up the shiny discarded stealth rocks, fairy ash, and competitor blood isn't too bad. Like the end of some kind of fairy tale.
Your wish is my command
Shadow Jirachi opens its eyes. Two glowing red eyes with triangle marks like they're crying blood... and then the third opening on its belly, a dark red yamask iris, a freshly severed umbilical eye.
Guile Hideout shouts, "You've foiled my plans for the last time! Jirachi, I wish to be one with Kyogre, and bring the ocean to drown this world!"
Jirachi's tags rustle as the latest wish scrawls itself over the overwritten tags already full of a thousand desires, and a dark star rises as black clouds begin to cover the moon, bringing crimson rain and thunder that shatters eardrums.
And there is blood, blood, and nothing but blood...
