I'll pm that person to make sure they want to got at it. If they say yes, your set. If not i'll either take you on or i'll toss you at someone who hasnt set a preference for an opponet.
I'll pm both parties so they can set up and then leave you to it!
Pick a deck, pick an opponet, and fire away in a forum version of the pokemon card game.
This is a trial run (it worked via pm), so i'm carrying the format to the public setting to see if theres any one interested in a game.
Heres the site that has a list of alk available cards. Presently all games are limited to these decks to avoid power seep/creep of later decks.
Heres how it works!
Pick 60 cards, be mindful of balancing mon, energy and trainer cards
No more than 4 of a card
For example

You can only have 4 meowth... so pick wisely.
(Especially if you go the pika route... there are so many pikachu cards)
This cap applies all cards excluding energy cards. You can have as many energy cards as you wish. Though rainbow, heal, and double energy are at a 4x cap.
Once you have 60 cards squared up this becomes your deck.
Find someone else w a deck,and then challenge them to a game, here.
how to play
Once your deck is rearing to go you draw seven cards.
Heres a tool i used to draw cards.

I go in and change it to 1-60, and the numbers it draws are my hand...
Make sure to hide your hand behind a spoiler tag so your opponet doesnt see them.

So to start the game proper you need seven cards, youll need one mon minimum to play.
If cards 1-7 do not have a mon, redraw, repeat until you have one mon.
once you have a mon
(Minimum!)
You put one mon as active and any others can either be laid down in the benched area or held in hand.
Once both players have a hand and benched mon set up draw six cards.
These are your prizes.
Each time you defeat an opponets mon, draw a card from the prize pile. (Its usable next round).
turn 0,
both players set up mon in bench and active zones. No trainer, energy, or powers may be used. A coin flip occures once both are set to decide who goes first.

turn 1 and beyond
each turn you can
Draw a card
(This mandatory at the start of every turn!)
Bench mon (max of 5)

How to win
Get all the prizes from the prize pile
Your opponet runs out of cards to draw at the start of thier turn
Thier active mon is defeated and they have no benched mon
