"Yes," Zygarde said. "That would be you." He nodded at Diyem. "We have observed this Blacklight and see that the best course of action would be to defeat it with the source that it had been created from. Part of that source is your Shadows, and the energy from Eternatus, both of Eien as well as the one that had been part of another world, brought here."
"The one from Telum..." Owen looked tense, too. "Are you guys really not strong enough to...?"
"We could," Zygarde said, "...but it would be at a point where Cibus would already be overtaken by it. If Cibus is destroyed, its anchor to a reality so siphon away spirits and power will be removed. It will wither away on its own and be dispatched safely."
"With all of Cibus destroyed," Diyem said. "How attached is this Blacklight to Cibus?"
"Every living spirit on Cibus is connected to it," Zygarde summarized. "Therefore it can draw from them even now."
"Pop knew this," Diyem muttered to himself. "That's why he..."
"I did not hear you," Zygarde said.
"What assistance can you provide?" Diyem asked.
"No military assistance can be provided in a safe manner. However, we would like to speak with the reality administrator in order to arrange plans. This will make things very convenient."
"Is there any way to save this world, should we fail?" Diyem asked.
Zygarde paused. He raised a paw; a notepad appeared, and something was written down. Then, it disappeared again. "Are you demonstrating compassion for Cibus?"
"Save the therapy for later," Diyem snarled.
