Special Condition: Sharing the Love Double Trouble - Okay, so for those of you who took part in last week's Double Trouble Catnip, the rules are the same as there: if you'd like to enter twice (in exchange for reviewing two stories), you may do so. With one catch:

Your submission(s) must qualify for the Week 4 theme bonus, meaning that they must not be reviewed more than twice during the entire event. Since hey, it's a busy time in everyone's lives for reading and reviewing, so might as well incentivize people for giving your stories a gander. Like a normal Double Trouble Catnip, you may submit one story twice or two stories once apiece, so long as they meet the additional theme criteria.

You have until the start of January 13, 2024 at 00:00 UTC (24 hours after the start of Week 3) to submit your fic(s) of choice, and complete any outstanding reviews you have from the December 27th Catnip or any other prior Catnips to be eligible for entry. Due to the final list of qualifying titles not being known until 24 hours before the start of this game, all signups prior to the official start of Week 4 are tentative, if your work no longer qualifies at the start of Week 4, I will reach out to you to arrange a substitution. You may change your submission(s) anytime up until the rolling takes place.

How to sign up:

Signup is done via TR or Discord DM to the round host (me). In your message, include the following:

1. A link to your story on Thousand Roads.You may also specify a certain chapter or selection of chapters you want the reviewer to choose from. Note, however, that the reviewer does not need to read any more than one chapter (between 1 000 and 10 000 words). You may also change your mind and choose another submission as long as the rolling has not taken place yet.
   • You may also submit another story as another option, but the reader only needs to pick one of the submitted stories.
   • If the chapters of your story tend to be shorter than 1 000 words or longer than 10 000 words, inform the round host (me) so accommodations can be made.
2. Everyone who has reviewed or betaread all that you have posted of your story so far. Readers who you know have read all that is out of the story but have not provided feedback are not included.
3. Content warnings for your story. This means warnings for violence, gore, death, sexual themes, drug use, or other possibly upsetting content.
4. Content that you do not want to read. This refers to upsetting content that is typically warned for in content warnings, but not e.g. genre requests, which will not be accommodated.

Please address all four points even if no one has reviewed all of your story, your story has no content warnings, or you are fine with reading anything. This way, I can be sure that you have not forgotten to mention anything. If this is your first time participating, please also make sure to read the first post in the thread so that we're all on the same page.

Content that you do not want to read. If there's a topic/trigger I need to avoid, here's where you warn me.

note: I can not honor genre requests (ex: non-pmd, non-trainerverse, romance only ect.)

300 words is the baseline goal. Here is a link to a wordcounter site if your writing medium doesn't have a means to doublecheck, this site works nicly. Other people's text, aka quotes do not count towards your word count goal.

Spoiler: Special note details

I'll get a short summary of the Prologue and Chapter 1 which should allow for the reviewer of my fic to come in at Chapter 2 where things start to get more interesting. I would like to ask them to read (without the need to review) my short 600 word introduction since it massively helps with understanding the overall context/plot in the story in combination with the short Prologue/Chapter 1 summary which is about 200 words that I put together if that is ok. My Chapter 2 is only 5,500 words so it should make for an easy review for someone overall.
