Gen's eyes widened, and he hurriedly waddled towards the portal. Before he entered it, though, he turned around, and waved one last time. "B-bye! I h-hope to see you a-all again someday!" he said, before turning back around and entering the portal.

"I-I...th-thank you," Gen said with a warm smile, taking the piece Violet had offered him, and placing it in his bag. "Th-thank you, Violet."

"I..." Gen said, hesitating before continuing, a tiny smile on his face. "I-I think we w-will."

Gen hesitated, then waddled towards the group of Lillie, Violet, and Kaz, before doing his best to hug each of them.

"YOU DIED!" Gen screamed, trembling badly. "Y-you fought K-Kaz, and it was r-really bad...and then..." His grip on his reunion cape tightened.

Gen screamed as he heard the cracking sound. Crap, crap, crap! Vegeta didn't die, right? Right? He frantically dug into his bag, searching for one of those "reviver seeds" Burhalla had talked about. There had to be one in here somewhere. There had to. There had to. After fifteen seconds of...

"O-ok!" Gen said, untying the non-reunion cape from himself and waddling over to the tree Lillie was at, before tossing it up towards her.

"I-I dare you t-to, um..." Gen thought for a moment, then said, "Turn Vegemite upside d-down while she's s-stuck."

Gen's ears stuck up as he heard Violet's words. He did feel kind of angry at that Swampert after that... He turned towards the chimera, and asked, "T-truth or dare?"

"Th-thanks," Gen said, beginning to smile genuinely. He felt genuinely hopeful. Maybe...he could actually do this. Maybe he could actually help his team. Maybe he could get through this and go hom- Immediately, his smile disappeared, and he trembled as he gripped tightly onto his reunion cape...

"O-ok...th-thanks," he said, giving a small smile to the chimera. He focused on his frustration, reared back, swung his paw at the tree with as much force as he could muster- He smacked the tree again. Three more leaves fell. He trembled as he stepped back.

"...o-ok. Thanks," he said, as he walked over and struggled to get the cape on. Soon enough, though he managed to, and walked back over to the tree. He focused on his frustration at everything that'd happened here. At- His right paw glows darkly, and he impacts the tree. One more leaf falls...

"Aaaah, u-um...o-ok..." Gen said, trembling. He didn't want everyone's attention on what little he could do...but at least he wouldn't be alone. He really doubted a Tackle or Tail Whip would be worth showing, and he didn't think he could be calm enough for a Water Sport...so that just left...

"O-oh, um, it was, uh, c-cool," Gen stammered. There wasn't much he could do while he was stuck as an Oshawott...but he didn't want a repeat of his last truth... "...d-dare."

As Gen finally finished washing himself off, he waddled back to the group, only to see a Swampert where there was none before. "U-uh..." Then she started talking, and Gen's eyes widened. Oh. That was Vegeta. He had so many questions, but he didn't want to end up torn in two by the Swampert...

Gen shuddered as he was covered in mud. That felt so uncomfortable against his fur. It was probably the most uncomfortable hug he'd ever received. And the next moment, he was called wimpy and unrespectable. But that was true, wasn't it? He couldn't even pull off a Water Gun, and he was...

Gen flinched from the sound, nervously glancing over at the Mudkip after she mentioned attacking Lillie. "Um...l-let's not attack e-each other..." he stammered.

Gen clutched onto his reunion cape as he heard the insults spat at his friend. "I-I...you...L-Lance..." He waddled over to Lance, and gave him as big of a hug as he could.

Gen couldn't help but laugh again, feeling genuinely happy. Of all the things to be present in many different worlds, he'd never expect the concept of Rickrolling to be that omnipresent. He felt a little more at home.

Gen couldn't help but giggle as he looked at the picture, laughing genuinely.
