Cabot tilted his head curiously. "What do you need us to do exactly?"

"Er... well it's nice to meet you," Cabot said as he stepped forward, giving the two Legendaries a small wave. "I'm Cabot, and we're with Diyem like Maple said."

"Should... someone stop them?" Cabot hesitantly asked.

"Hey there!" Cabot greeted, waving at Icetales. "I'm doing pretty good! We're about to head out some place called 'The Hidden Land'." The Cranidos paused as Maple seemed to be unable to open up a portal to the Hidden Land, tilting his head a little when she finally succeeded and mentioned it...

"Ah, well it sounds like a pretty interesting place and I certainly wouldn't mind meeting Dialga!" Cabot cheered. "I'm ready to go if everyone else is."

"The Hidden Land?" Cabot asked. "What sort of place is that exactly? ... Aside from it being hidden, I mean."

Cabot wagged his tail. Small victories. That works for me! I promise I'll keep in mind what you said as well then. With that, the Cranidos turned back around and started making his way back to town. <><><>

... If I say 'okay', will you be cautiously optimistic that we can stop that from happening? Cabot gave a disarming smile, even though he didn't expect Diyem would be able to sense that.

... But we're not calling ourselves that. Though maybe we should vote to see what everyone likes the most? I think 'Team Spectrum' has a nice ring to it myself.

Right... I understand then. Though I think we can save Cibus without you having to do something like that. Maybe that doesn't sound very convincing right now, but Meringue was also skeptical about us saving Lugia, yet we did great when fighting her and Darkwhite.

Bahamut said that you asked him to potentially kill someone in case the rest of the team doesn't want that... Something about 'reign in the bleeding hearts should it become necessary.' That's not true, right?

Cabot gave Bahamut an incredulous look, before gritting his teeth. Who did Bahamut think he was?! All Bahamut had done today was belittle him, dismiss everything he said, and act like he knew everything better than him, even when he clearly didn't know what he was talking about! How had Bahamut...

"I'm sure things will be fine," Cabot huffed. "I trust Diyem."

"Well, maybe, but it also means that there's no reason to already talk about killing anyone."

"I know accepting it doesn't mean that, but it's still possible afterwards," Cabot insisted, crossing his arms.

"Wh- That's not what I meant at all! You don't befriend someone by absorbing him."

Cabot flinched from the water hitting him, prompting him to glare back at Bahamut. "But, the only reason Diyem is like this is because he was accepted for what he was. That's not the same as outright killing him, which is what you're suggesting for this other Dark Matter."

"Well, how do you know for sure that they wouldn't listen to you?" Cabot asked. "You said it's been a thousand years, but you also said that you spend most of it wandering around the Distortion on your planet. Have you ever tried talking to the 'mons who are in charge right now? And if we save...
