Funny that, isn’t it? Admittedly, I’m not a native Scot, though - I’m from London originally and just moved here a few years ago, but Scotland is very much my adopted home and like it here a lot. The tablet and empire biscuits almost nearly make up for the terrible weather!

If you haven’t already, come visit us on the discord at some point too - we folk have a good natter from time to time on there.

Hi hi!!! I'm WriterOfWorlds, but many people call me WoW, or Writer! I've been a huge fan of Pokémon since I was 6, including the spin off, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon! I've also written fanfics of other fandoms, my main ones Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy 1, and Super Smash Bros, but recently I decided to write some fics for Pokémon!

I had been posting fics since 2011, way back on FFN. I since retired that account so I can migrate to AO3, WriterOfWorlds. I also have a Tumblr, writer-of-worlds, where I occasionally post my stories there!

When I'm not writing? Gaming or reading XD Or doing Nuzlockes and never finishing them LOL.

I also want to be a published writer one day, and I use fanfiction as my practice grounds to improve!

Hi there people. Superbeans here, and some of you might've heard the name on ao3, FFN or Tumblr.

I heard about this place from FFN, and figure it might be a place to post my fic, as they don't get much traffic on either of those. Who knows? A dedicated site might be just what the doctor ordered.

Two fics I'll definitely be posting on here are;

Checkmate - a fully OC Pokemon region based off Scotland, where anthropology student Isla Reid travels to the distant region of Kildo to learn about their local myths and legends. With her are her cousins Blair and Skye MacLeod, who complicate things daily.

Wings - A story about Sparky the Emolga, who wakes up to find that her trainer's no longer there. With her Pokemon Siblings Socks the Furret and Sir Higglesworth the Kadabra, there's the hint of hope on the horizon, but things generally don't go well.

Anyways, for those who want to know, I live in Scotland - as hinted above - and I'm probably too old to be writing Pokemon fanfic, but dammit I'm doing it anyway. Hey everyone o7

Welcome to the forums! Looks like you've got a couple interesting stories there--I love to see journeyfics based on real-world places that the author's familiar with! It's fun to see how people reimagine the world around them in a pokémon context. If you're looking for feedback, consider joining this round of Catnip Circle--it's a review exchange game where you swap comments with another author. Great way to get started on the forums!

Welcome! Looks like you've got a pretty extensive publishing history. Good luck on your journey towards publication, and in the meantime I hope you have a lot of fun with your fics. Your GTI fic looks intriguing--that game doesn't get a lot of love!
