At any rate. When we look at the chain of events last night its just wild.

Basically Chibi makes some comment about being willing trade their own life or nonsense, Phan immediately picks up and questions that, and then LATER when there's a tie, Phan chooses breaking the tie and voting Mal.

The way this plays out reeks of sus to me lol. In fact its a hairsbreadth away from some kind of coded dayspeak? Saying "if we have to pretend to vote me? At first I was baffled and confused by the desire to vote chibi but the tiebreak and drawing away from Chibi at the end of the day? Considering the scum are at two now I'm thinking a desperate play. There was already a train on Chibi early, cause me and jackie voted near beginning of day. Phan wanted to pretend to be willing to join and gain cred, especially since my ghost vote (immovable, unchangeable, unretractable) was already on their scummate.

Which MAN way to sneak under the radar? thats the most absurdly bold yet well done scum collab

nd I want to call back to Pano’s point: Yes, Chibi could be scum, but if they aren’t, then keeping them alive forces scum to choose: either kill Chibi and prove their innocence, or let them live to get another read off. If Chibi isn’t scum, then we eliminate a valuable info role and give scum a free pass to kill Sind in the night.

Meanwhile, uA’s role, if true, is now useless with it being out in the open; scum will avoid killing them at night (which is also a very convenient fake claim because it easily explains why they’ll never be a target at night after claiming!)

We can still gain something from Chibi’s role (again, assuming they are town), while we can’t gain much from uA’s role (also assuming they are town). At this point, I think the smarter utility choice is to preserve the role that would benefit town the most.]]

Yellow takes the time to defend Chibi even though a lying scum is actually more dangerous imo. Naturally yellow would want to say something when the vote train (me & jackie though, not phan) is heading towards Chibi.

And maybe, if she was really lucky, she'd misread the entire situation and they were all about to win. She wasn't gonna count on it, though.

And then finally, right after finding out it got tied, Phan jumps to Malachai anyway.

I mean this is an insane manuever but at this point what choice do they have? We started the day hard sussing Chibi! If Phan in particular defends chibi it looks too odd. But the fact that the vote for Chibi came after Chibi says they're willing to trade their life or whatever speaks to me that Chibi was suggesting its okay to get on the train for a bit and avoid suspicion.

I don't actually see why Poisoner wouldn't have been a valid result from Mal! It's the one I was fully expecting because with this few players left, it's impossible for poison to still be in play unless the scumteam were you/Elgyem. So since I was reading Drake/Malachai as a probable scum duo, poisoner!Mal seemed the most likely to me. I still think Drake/Malachai makes sense as a scum duo, because I don't know who the hell else it could even be! But even if poison were still in play (I don't think it can be, numerically) there'd be no point in poisoning me when I'm already a suspect, it'd make about as much sense as killing me.

So yeah, obviously I'm questioning if my result from Drake was accurate, not because I think he was innocent (the flailing from yesterday has permanently solidified this in my mind) but because if that read was wrong, then I might've been wrong about Rui. Because if she was actually Investigator, then she wasn't the freaking drunk, she was poisoned, (and I could honestly see a scumteam with Tetra poisoning Yellow n0 for fun when there's no other info, tell me you couldn't see that). Apparently telling the drunk that someone else was the drunk is a perfectly normal thing in this game (I'd been operating under the assumption that drunks tend to get info that calls alignment into question).

And yes, I saw the results from our two inforoles. I need to run through the previous days' inspections to figure out what lines up and what doesn't, depending on poison order. I was probably wrong about one of my reads and I'm not happy about it.]]
