Chapter 2 - Hell Breaks Loose

Class 1-1

After defeating the Ryhron, Daisuke rushed back to his classroom as he knows that he is probably going to be late to his English class.

Daisuke : Damn! Why couldn't I have just not gone there?! Well at least I have three minutes left till class starts.

As he made a mad dash towards his class, Daisuke looked at his watch again. 2 minutes left. He made a left turn , went up to the third floor, made a right turn, turned left again and reached his class with 1 minute to spare.

Daisuke's classmates : (Was this guy being chased or was he just late?)

The teacher then entered the classroom just as Daisuke sat down on his chair.

Mr. Joseph : Good morning class, You may know me as your headmaster, Mr. Joseph and I am going to be your English Teacher.

Just as Mr. Joseph finished his introduction, a fair skinned boy with a tall blonde flat top with four bangs walked into the classroom.

Boy : Excuse me, is this Class 1-1? I mistakenly entered another class and I didn't know that I was in the wrong class until after recess.

Mr. Joseph : Well what is your name?

Boy : My name is Jean.

Mr. Joseph : very well then, you may take a seat.

Jean then took a seat next to Daisuke.

Mr. Joseph : Alright class, Mr. Abdul told me all about your introductions so you all can all do whatever you guys want as long as you don't make too much noise or start a fight.

Class: Yes sir.

Jean starts a conversation with Daisuke.

Jean : So, what's your name?

Daisuke : My name's Daisuke. Are you from Kalos?

Jean : Of course ! My name is a dead giveaway.

Daisuke : So did your parents move here when you were a kid?

Jean : Well, about that. My parents are dead.

Daisuke : Ah crap. Sorry about that.

Jean : You don't have to apologise.

Daisuke : Anyways, do you have any other family members?

Jean : I have a younger twin sister.

Daisuke : Well, I have an elder sister and an elder brother.

As Daisuke and Jean continue to talk, they soon become good friends.

Three weeks later...

It's been three weeks since the start of the school year and it's looking to be a normal day at school.

Daisuke : Hey there, Jean!

Jean : Good to see you Daisuke, how have you been doing?

Daisuke : Yeah I've been doing great. How about you?

Jean : Yeah I've been doing great as well.

Intercom : Attention students! Please go to the assembly point now as our assembly is about to start.

Daisuke : Jean, lets go to the assembly point. We don't want to risk being late.

Jean : Right behind you, Daisuke!

As the both of them were walking towards the assembly point, Daisuke had a gut feeling that something was wrong but he shrugged it off. However, Daisuke soon realised that he should've trusted his gut.

BOOOOM!!!!!

Jean : What the hell was that?!

Intercom : Attention everyone! Please evacuate the premises immediately! The school is under attack !!

Daisuke : The school is under attack?! Yare yare, can this day get any worse?

Suddenly, a group of armoured figures approached the school.

Daisuke : (Well, it just got even worse!)

Jean: Daisuke! Let's get the hell out of here!

Daisuke : Yeah, let's bolt!

Armoured leader : You know the job boys, take out anyone in our way and make sure we get to Joseph before he has time to do his secret technique.

Armoured soldiers : Yes sir!

The Armoured soldiers then started firing at everyone in their path whether it was a pokémon, a student or a teacher, they didn't care at all.

Meanwhile, at the assembly point.

Joseph and Abdul were working with the other teachers and a battalion of soldiers to evacuate the students . However they were too late as the Armoured soldiers arrived and started firing at the evacuees resulting in the deaths of many students, pokémon and teachers.

Joseph : No, no, no!!!

Abdul : Joseph we have to get out of here! It's too dangerous !

Joseph : No Abdul ! I can't let them kill the rest! I.. can't ....!

Tears of rage started to form in Joseph's eyes as his hands started emitting blue sparks of energy.

Joseph : I won't let them die!!!

Joseph then punched the ground, releasing the blue energy towards the Armoured soldiers who were then shocked by said energy.

Armoured soldier J-90 : Argghh! What the hell was that?!

Joseph : ....

Joseph then proceeded to beat the living shit out of every single one of the Armoured soldiers to the shock of the surviving students and teachers.

Student : Holy shit! Mr. Joseph is beating them up!

Other students : Go Mr. Joseph !! Finish them!!

Joseph : I appreciate the praise but all of you have to evacuate NOW!!!

Students(slightly frightened) : Y-Yes sir !!

Joseph continued fighting the Armoured soldiers as Abdul and the remaining teachers focused on getting the students to the evac choppers.

Abdul : Okay everyone this way ! This way!

That's when Abdul realised a terrible truth .

Abdul : Wait, where are Jean and Daisuke??!!.

Meanwhile,

Daisuke and Jean were attempting to escape with some other students but they were spotted by some of the Armoured soldiers who started firing at them.

Daisuke :Shimatashimatashimatashimatashimata!!!!

Jean : AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!

To make matters even worse, the soldiers started summoning pokémon to chase them .

Armoured soldier G-45 : Scyther! Make sure none of these little punks get out of here alive!

Scyther : Scy-Scyther!!

The Scyther then started chasing the evacuating students cutting them down and turning the scene into a gory mess while laughing maniacally .

Armoured soldier G-45 : Yeah, that's good Scyther! Slaughter those brats!

Jean : Mon dieu !!! Run Daisuke run !! That thing is approaching fast!!

Daisuke : Jean! Grab my hand!

Jean : For what?!

Daisuke : Just grab onto my damn hand!

Daisuke uses his lighting ability to quickly outrun the approaching Scyther with Jean still holding onto his hand.

Jean : What the hell was that?!

Daisuke : I'll explain later! We have to get the hell out of here first!

In the distance

Armoured soldier D-16 : Well boys. I spotted some runts. Care to take them out for me?

The Armoured soldier then summoned an Abomasnow along with a Tyranitar and an Absol.

Jean : Daisuke, incoming!

Daisuke dodges an energy ball from the Abomasnow and proceeds to use his earth and telekinetic powers in tandem to knock it out. However, both he and Jean are cornered by the Tyranitar and the Absol.

Armoured soldier D-16 : Sorry kids but there ain't now way outta this. Any last words?

Daisuke and Jean : ..........

Daisuke prepares another attack in secrecy.

Armoured soldier D-16 : Got nothing to say ey? Put them out of their misery, boys.

Just as Daisuke was about to finish the Tyranitar and Absol off, a mysterious figure came out of nowhere and fired some purple shards at the Tyranitar and Absol .

Armoured soldier D-16 : What..

Deet. Kaboom!!

The Armoured soldier along with his pokémon were killed in the explosion.

Daisuke : It's you again!!

Jean: Wait you know this guy?

The mysterious figure walked out of the explosion. Finally revealing his true form.

Jean : Impossible.. It's only a conspiracy theory!!

Mewtwo : Don't be afraid my friends. I am not going to harm the both of you. As a matter of fact , I intend to escape along with the both of you.

Daisuke : Why so?

Mewtwo : Because my home was taken over by those soldiers. I no longer have anywhere to hide.

Jean (slightly uneasy) : Well, you can come with us ! But you need a disguise.

Mewtwo : That won't be an issue.

The Mewtwo then took upon the form of a purple eyed teenage boy with green clothes and red hair.

Jean : Well, that was quick.

Abdul (Breathing heavily): Daisuke ! Jean ! We need to evacuate now! And who is this young man ?

Daisuke : We saw him walking around here. He was also trying to escape the attack.

Mewtwo : Y-Yes! I was just walking around here when I heard the explosion.

Abdul : Then we must make haste. The school is almost completely overrun!

The four of them make a mad dash towards the evac choppers as the Armoured soldiers and their pokémon begin breaking out of the school.

Daisuke : Mr. Abdul , where is Mr. Joseph?

Abdul : Don't worry Daisuke; he is waiting for us in an evac chopper .

Daisuke : Well, lets get to the chopper asap. Those guys might be gunning for us.

Daisuke and the rest of the group manage to evade detection and get to the evac chopper in time.

Joseph : Daisuke, Jean ! Am I glad to see the both of you !

Jean : Well, we're also glad that you got out of that hellhole.

Joseph : Oh, and who's that?

Mewtwo : Oh, me? I'm –

The Mewtwo was cut off by the Armoured soldiers as they fired at the group.

RATAATATATATATATATATATAATATAT!!!

Joseph :BLOODY HELL!

Abdul : Everyone in the chopper now!

Everyone enters the chopper.

Abdul : Joseph! Get this thing off the ground!

Joseph : Alright!

Jean : Wait I thought that those military guys that were helping us evacuate were the ones piloting the choppers?

Joseph : Well the blokes that were supposed to fly this chopper were shot down before you all came here so I decided to pilot this chopper myself.

Daisuke : Sir, are you even qualified to be piloting this sort of military chopper, let alone any sort of aircraft?!

Joseph : Don't worry Daisuke! I know how to fly this bad boy because I've watched the demo video on how to fly it! Though I had to watch it again because I fell asleep the first time....

Daisuke : ( Yare yare daze. We are so screwed.....)

Joseph : Everyone! Grab onto something because this bad boy's going turbo!

Mewtwo : What is "turbo"?

BAEEEEEEEEEMM!!!

The chopper goes very fast; colliding with a nearby Salamance which unbeknownst to them at the time, severely damaged the landing gear.

Mewtwo : Ah, that's what he meant by turbo.. Going very fast! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Jean : Mon dieu!!!

Daisuke : Shimata!!

Abdul : Joseph! What were you thinking?!

Joseph : On second thought... I shouldn't have done that because I think the landing gear's busted now because of our earlier impact with the Salamance.

Daisuke : Everyone ! Brace for impact!!!

Everyone : AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!

Everyone braces for impact as the chopper crashes into the ground . Producing a deafening array of noises.

WHEERRRRR BOOOOOOOMM!!!!!!

End of Chapter 2

Biography: Jean Van Cardin

Born and raised in Kalos, Jean fell in love with the art of swordsmanship at the young age of 4. After he turned 10 years old, he started training himself in the ways of a swordsman after winding up unsuccessful in finding a mentor, he was eventually sent to study in Kanto and befriended Daisuke. Abilities : None(yet)Likes: Well baked pastries, collecting swords(blunt ones), a good haircut and a lovely woman. Favourite food : Chicken Cordon Bleu Dislikes: Anyone insulting his motherland of Kalos, people who intentionally use reverse grip on swords and people who cheat on their spouses. Height: 5ft 8 ½ inches (173.99 cm)

Chapter 3 - Sorre Strikes

30 minutes after the crash

Joseph : Daisuke! Get up! Daisuke!

Daisuke : Uhh... What happened, sir? Are we all okay?

Joseph : Don't worry. We're in the chopper. Or at least what remains of it.

Daisuke glances at the damaged chopper. The rest of the crew is seen resting in the chopper.

Daisuke : Is anyone hurt ?

The rest: No.

Joseph : Well, by some miracle all of us came out unscathed. However, we are stranded in the middle of a desert now and we don't know which region we are in right now.

Daisuke : It's obviously not Kanto and Johto because they don't have deserts. There isn't a sandstorm right now so we're probably not in Hoenn becaue the desert there has a permanent sandstorm. So right now the only logical answer is Orre.

Joseph: Well I think that you're correct because I can't see anything other than sand.

Daisuke: Well, in that case we need to scavenge whatever we can find from the wreckage and get to civilasation as quickly as possible.

Mewtwo: Before that I want to get something out of the way.

Jean : What is it?

Mewtwo : I didn't get the chace to properly introduce myself just now so I'm going to be introducing myself. My name is Kakuro Noshiteru. I moved to Kanto from Johto last week. That's why I was walking around when Daisuke and Jean spotted me.

Abdul: Oh, so that's why you were walking there! (This kid's alibi makes no sense! I'm pretty sure that the soldiers were also terrorising the areas near the school.)

Jean: Anyways, let's start scavenging for anything of use.

The group searches for around 10 minutes and find nothing of use.

Daisuke : Damn it! There's nothing but scrap metal! There's not even any guns that we could use in case things go south.

Jean : Fantastique! We are stuck in the middle of a desert and we have nothing to defend ourselves with!

Kakuro : Well we have our abi-

Jean(whispering) : I don't think we should tell our teachers. They might freak out.

Kakuro(whispering) : I guess you're right.

Daisuke(whispering) : Agreed. Who knows how Mr. Joseph and Mr. Abdul would react.

In the distance

??? : So those bastards survived the crash? Quite impressive for two old ass bums and three idiots. They'll be wishing that they died in the crash though.

After the failed scavenging, the group proceeds to go north in an attempt to reach the closest town.

Jean : Oh, merde. I feel like an ice cream on a hot summer day. Do any of you guys feel the same?

Daisuke : Well, yeah. However it was this or going at night when we could get ambushed by who knows how many wild pokémon when we're at our most tired and vulnerable.

Jean : Well, I would rather get a very terrible sunburn than get eaten alive by several or more wild poke'mon.

Kakuro : I agree with Daisuke. However, the heat is killing me right now.

Joseph : Well, can't blame you. Johto's weather is a lot cooler than Kanto and this region.

Abdul : Anyways, I think I see some buildings nearby on that canyon. So, we must be close to civilisation.

Joseph : Well then, let's keep going forward.

As the group was marching forwards towards the buildings, both Daisuke and Kakuro sensed a foreign psychic signature in their vicinity.

Kakuro : Mr. Joseph I think that somebody might be watching us.

Joseph : What makes you think that Kakuro?

Kakuro : Well, I had a gut feeling that something was off.

Abdul : Come to think about it, we haven't discussed the possibility of some of those soldiers tailing us here.

Just as Abdul finished his sentence, a rocket came flying at the group.

Daisuke : Everyone run rocket inbound!!!

The group manages to dodge the rocket in time.

Jean : What the hell kind of maniac shoots rockets at random people?!

Just as Jean finished talking, a purple metallic looking arm emerged from the sand and grabbed his right leg.

Jean : MON DIEU!! GET THIS THING OFF ME!!!

Kakuro : AMETHYST WAVE!!

Kakuro launches several purple crystals at the arm which exploded upon contact with said arm.

Joseph : Everyone! We need to get to the town as quickly as possible before this maniac kills us!

The group starts running towards the canyon at full speed. However, bigger arms appear in the way creating a blockade that blocks them from the canyon.

Joseph : Oh shit! Everyone dodge the arms!

The arms begin swinging around trying to hit the group. In the distance, the mysterious man was watching the group dodge his arms with relative ease.

???: (This isn't good! My arms aren't precise or fast enough to nail them! I guess I have to handle them myself.)

He then proceeds to activate his jetpack and flies towards the group, intending to finish them off with a barrage of rockets from his jetpack.

???: This'll do!

Kakuro : There's that guy! He's shooting more rockets at us!

The group manages to dodge the rockets which proceed to destroy the arms instead.

Daisuke: You piece of shit! Take this!

Daisuke throws several electric tanto towards the assailant. He manages to dodge most of them but he is hit by two of them.

??? : Arghhh! That shit hurt! You'll regret ever crossing Sorre you pole looking piece of shit!

Sorre summons more arms to hopefully crush the group. Unfortunately, all of the arms miss due to their piss poor accuracy and speed.

Sorre : (Screw those shitty arms! I'll just finish them off with my guns!)

Sorre then pulls out two submachine guns and starts firing at both Daisuke and Kakuro.

Daisuke : Kakuro! He's targeting us! We need to finish him quickly!

Kakuro : Got that Daisuke! Let's finish him with style!

Daisuke and Kakuro begin by shooting at Sorre with the electric Tanto and Amethyst Wave, which he dodges easily.

Sorre : L L L L L you missed losers!

Daisuke and Kakuro: Oh really?

Daisuke and Kakuro proceed to use telekinesis to guide the Tanto and Amethyst Wave to Sorre's jetpack. The Jetpack then explodes after contact with both types of projectiles causing Sorre to be blasted into he sky. Daisuke and Kakuro then pose dramatically to end the combo.

Daisuke : Man, that was a blast wasn't it? No pun intended.

Kakuro : Haha, yes it was.

Their conversation is suddenly interrupted when a giant worm pokémon devoured Sorre who was falling from the air. The giant worm pokémon then proceeds to return underground never to be seen again.

Kakuro : ......Well that just happened.

Daisuke : Yare Yare. Let's just get to the damn town already.

End of Chapter 3

Biography : Kakuro Noshiteru

A product of the Mewtwo's from the Mewtwo Project made by Team Rocket in the year 1996, his parents and all the other "First Generation Mewtwo" were cloned from the DNA from the eyelashes of various Mew's gathered across 5 years, Team Rocket aimed to use the Mewtwo to conquer the entirety of the world of Pokémon. However, blinded by their hubris they did not consider making contingency plans to prevent a Mewtwo uprising which led to their downfall. The Mewtwos then spread across the entire world to live in secrecy. Abilities : Psychic abilities(Similar to Daisuke e.g mind reading, telekinesis and more.), Explosive psionic constructs- Kakuro can create constructs out of psionic energy (wires, blocks and rods) that can be set to timed detonation , contact detonation or manual detonation. Likes : Cherries, reading, females h---- and sunbathing Favourite foods : Any kind of fish dish and ice cream with cherries. Dislikes : His brother teasing him , people annoying him when he tries to read and people who exploit others for their own gain. Height 5 ft 7 ½ inches(171.45 cm)

Chapter 4 - Missing piece

The group finally reaches Pyrite Town after climbing up the canyon .

Jean (breathing heavily) : We... Finally.. Made... It...

Daisuke (slightly exhausted and annoyed) : Well that took much longer than intended because SOME WANNABE ASSASSIN decided to jump us out of the blue with giant arms and rockets !

Kakuro : Well, he is no longer a concern to us right now.

Joseph : You're right Kakuro! Thanks to both you and Daisuke, that sorry excuse of an assassin is no longer going to bother us any longer.

Kakuro and Daisuke : ..You're Welcome, sir?

Abdul : Speaking of that assassin, do you happen to know more about the pokémon that devoured him?

Daisuke : That pokémon that devoured that "assassin" is called Gaiawyrm. Unlike most pokémon, it lacks any evolutions or pre-evolutions. It instead has a normal life cycle like us humans where it starts from a hatchling to adolescence and finally the end of it's life. Only 10000 of these pokémon exist currently due to them only reproducing once every 10 years in their 20 year lifespans. They are also banned from competitive use due to them being an endangered species due to their reproduction taking place once every 10 years as I said before.

Jean : (Mon dieu, who knew that Daisuke was such a nerd in biology? I mean his mother is the region's poke'mon professor but I didn't know that he would be interested in that field.)

Joseph : Anyways, since we are in a town now, I would like to buy some new clothes for all of us since our current outfits are quite damaged.

Abdul : Well everyone except Kakuro because his outfit is perfectly fine despite everything that's happened today and him being in a fight with Sorre.

Kakuro : ..Hehe. I guess I have good luck when it comes to clothes.

The group enters a nearby clothing store and each of them except Kakuro begin choosing their new clothes.

Kakuro : Daisuke, I think that you should pick that black vest with blood orange highlights. It matches really well with you hat! Down to the colours!

Daisuke : Yare Yare. I'll take it along with these pants with the same colours and a white t-shift for some colour contrast.

Meanwhile for Jean

Jean : Hmmm.....(Choosing clothes by myself is much harder than I thought.) Well, I'll just take some random clothes that fit me.)

Later after leaving the store

Joseph : I've got to say Daisuke, your clothes complement your hat very well.

Daisuke : Well, Kakuro over here kept bugging me to buy them .

Kakuro : And look how it turned out. You should be thanking me.

Daisuke : Thanks for the tips just now.

Jean : Hey! What about my outfit!?

Abdul glances at Jean's outfit which is a black shirt with one gold lining crossing all the way throughout the top and another one on going down and up the torso again from the left to the right.

Abdul : Well it looks.... Quite interesting.

Jean : Well I guess that's good enough.

Joseph : Well, I guess it's time to eat. I'm quite hungry myself. Any of you chaps hungry?

Daisuke checks his watch. The time is 11:30 a.m.

Daisuke : I'm in, I haven't eaten in over four hours and I only had five biscuits and MILO for breakfast.

Kakuro : Count me in too.

Jean : That's an automatic yes to me!

Abdul : I suppose I could join the rest of you for brunch.

The group then enters a nearby diner to eat brunch. They then seat themselves on a table close to the kitchen.

Jean picks up the menu from the table and proceeds to read it.

Jean : Well this is quite a varied menu. It has food from Kanto, Galar, Sinnoh, my motherland Kalos and this region, Orre. I guess I'm picking the Chicken Cordon Bleu.

Jean passes the menu to Daisuke

I'll take a chicken pepperoni pizza. I'm starving.

Kakuro : An entire pizza? Are you really that hungry Daisuke?

Daisuke : Yeah because I only had a light breakfast and I need something to distract me from the thought of everything that just happened.

Joseph : Well, we can't blame you for that. Who knows how our families are reacting to our disappearances.

After hearing what Joseph said, Daisuke started thinking about how his family was reacting to him disappearing out of the blue.

Meanwhile at Kanto

Reporter : Good morning everyone. Today our region has been struck with a devastating attack at Cyan Academy which has claimed more than 500 human and poke'mon lives . Eyewitnesses claim that they saw an armada of troops app-

The television is turned off by someone

Julie : .....

Just then two people enter the house.

Kosuke : Sorry, ma. We couldn't find anyone that knew what happened to Daisuke or where he went.

Julie(In a somber tone) : It's alright my son. You can try again later.

The two then exit the house

Jennie : Man, we spent three and a half hours searching for clues and we still have no clue where Daisuke is or if he's alive or not.

Kosuke : Well I guess we should cut our losses and file a missing person's report for Daisuke.

Jennie : Fine. I'll go get mom.

Back at Orre

The group has just finished their meals. However, they can't seem to shake off the feeling of their loved ones reactions to their disappearances.

Jean(sobbing) : Man, I can't imagine how my little sister is feeling right now.

Kakuro : Me too. I miss my family more than ever.

Joseph : I hope my wife, daughter and granddaughter are able to see me again after all of this is over with.

Abdul : I hope Maya and the kids are doing okay.

Daisuke : ......

Kakuro glances at Daisuke and sees a tear forming in his left eye.

Kakuro : Are you okay, Daisuke?

Daisuke : Don't worry. I'm fine.

Joseph : Well it's time for us to take our leave. Let's get going.

The group exits the diner as Daisuke continues to think about how his family is handling his sudden disappearance back in Kanto.

End of Chapter 4

Biography : Joseph Johnson

Daisuke's headmaster and English teacher. He is very experienced when it comes to several things such as teaching and fighting. He has a wife, daughter and granddaughter. He is also 55 years old.

Likes : Spaghetti, 80's music and spending time with his family.

Dislikes : Salad, disrespectful students and making his family worried.

Abilities : Exact ability not known yet. Used to coat his arm in blue energy to deliver devastating punches.

Chapter 5 - Birds of A Feather

15 minutes after exiting the diner

Kakuro : Mr. Abdul, where is Mr. Joseph taking us to?

Mr. Abdul : Oh, Joseph is taking us to a nearby theatre at the Pyrite Grand Hotel.

Jean : Quoi? I didn't know that Mr. Joseph was a fan of theatre .

Joseph : No. I'm not bringing us to the theatre to watch a play. Rather, I'm going to be meeting up with someone over there.

Daisuke : But who is the person that you're going to be meeting with?

Joseph : It's one of my students from another class. They said that they are currently at the Pyrite Grand Hotel's theatre.

Kakuro : Excuse me sir, but what is a theatre?

Joseph : What?! You've never heard of a theatre before?

Kakuro : Well, there were no theatres where I lived. (Please don't ask more questions. x3)

A tense 10 seconds pass

Joseph : Hmm.. Well I can't blame you for that. Most theatres nowadays have been converted into cinemas.

Kakuro : (Thank goodness he didn't ask more questions. I would have been screwed.)

Joseph : Anyways, let's continue our journey to the theatre. We can't leave our friend waiting.

The group travels to the Pyrite Grand Hotel's theatre. They wait for around 30 minutes but the person hasn't shown up yet.

Daisuke : Yare Yare. When is this person going to show up?

Joseph : Be patient Daisuke. They'll show up any minute now.

Kakuro : Which minute? The first minute or the second minute? maybe even the twenty-seventh minute? No, maybe the forty-eighth minute?

Daisuke : (Yare Yare Daze. This guy is practically clueless when it come to words like this.)

Just then, a female individual wearing a mask and sunglasses exits the hotel and approaches the group.

??? : Hey there Mr. Joseph! It's nice to see you again!

Joseph : Hello there, Jaiden!

Jean : Wait, I know your voice ! You're that one youtuber aren't you?

Daisuke : Jean, what do you mean by that?

Jean : What do you mean you don't know her?! She's an up and coming youtuber!

Daisuke : Wait, she is?

Jaiden : Nah, it's okay if you didn't know beforehand. I only have a few thousand subs right now.

Daisuke : Well, I haven't really been on youtube that much recently since I was busy with school and helping around at the lab.

Jaiden: Anyways, I'm sorry about what happened to you guys at school. It must have been a nightmare running from those soldiers.

Daisuke : You don't need to apologise. It wasn't your fault that some psychos decided to attack our school for no reason.

Joseph becomes uneasy after Daisuke's statement.

Daisuke : Is everything alright, sir?

Joseph : No. I'm fine. I just started thinking about my family again.

Abdul : Well, it's time for us to check in the hotel.

Jean : Eh? You guys never said anything about checking in the hotel before. You only talked about meeeting up with Jaiden

Joseph : Well, Abdul and I realised that we have nowhere to stay for the time being, That's another reason why we wanted to go to the hotel besides meeting with Jaiden.

Daisuke : You know you could have told us about this earlier. Right, sir?

Joseph : Haha , I forgot. I guess I am getting old quickly.

Kakuro : Well then what are we waiting for? Let's just check into the hotel.

The group checks into the hotel.

Joseph and Abdul are sharing a room. So are Daisuke and Kakuro. Jean and Jaiden have their own rooms.

In Jean's room

Jean : Man, this room is quite disappointing for a famous hotel . The bed is of serviceable quality but the whole room looks like it hasn't had a redesign in over 2 decades. The lamp dosen't even work! This whole hotel feels like a scam!

Jean then has a realisation

Jean : Wait, why am I talking out loud? I'm not on a TV show or anything. Who do I think I am? Gordon Ramsay on Hotel Hell? Well, I guess I should take a nap to preserve my sanity after everything that happened today.

Jean proceeds to take a 45 minute nap and wakes up quite thirsty.

Jean : (Man, I'm thirsty as hell. I'll see if there's any drinks in the mini fridge.)

Jean opens the mini fridge and is suprised to find a wooden doll in it.

Jean : Eh? Why is there a doll in the fridge? I'll call up the receptionist to inform them about the doll.

Jean goes towards the phone in his hotel room and proceeds to enter a call with the receptionist.

Receptionist : Hello there, how may I help you?

Jean : I found a wooden doll in the mini fridge in my room. It has this really strange face and it looks like it's wearing some sort of 1800's attire.

Receptionist : Oh, it's probably something one of the previous guests left behind. Can you tell us the room number so we can send someone there to take it?

Jean : Well, the room number is room 398.

Receptionist : Okay then, I'll send a bellboy. He'll be there in around 5 minutes.

Jean : Thanks, monsieur.

Jean hangs up the call.

Jean : (Man, who the hell leaves a doll in the fridge? The person who left it in there must've been high on something.)

Jean turns back to the fridge. However, the doll is nowhere to be seen.

Jean : Huh? Where did that doll go?

Just as he began searching for the doll, Jean's face was splashed with mint soap.

Jean : Bwuaah!

He was then hit with one of the pillows from his bed with such force that he tumbled backwards

Jean : Who's there?! Show yourself!

Just then the bellboy entered the room

Bellboy : Is everything okay, sir?

Jean : No! It's not okay! There's something attacking me! You've got to call the police or something!

Bellboy : Alright, I'll go call the police-

The bellboy was then stabbed below his collarbone with a straight razor that was thrown from the bathroom.

Jean : MON DIEU!!!

Jean then decided to head towards the bathroom in order to confront and hopefully defeat the piece of shit that decided to attack him and the bellboy for no reason whatsoever.

Jean sees the accursed doll exiting the bathroom and proceeds to kick it.

Jean : Take this you shitty Pinocchio knockoff!

However, his kick missed as the doll moved at superhuman speeds and proceeded to kick Jean in the ribs.

Jean : Thuwacch!

Jean fell towards the bed. He then looked towards the doll who let out a sinister laugh.

Doll : Heheheheehehehaahaha!!!

Jean : That's it! You're going to get it from me!

Jean attempted to attack the doll but was hit with a barrage of punches and kicks from the doll as he once again fell towards the bed.

Jean : (What the hell is this doll?! Is it possessed by a demon or something? I have no idea how to fight back against this thing! There's practically nothing I can do!)

Jean was snapped out of his line of thought when he saw the doll running towards him while carrying the bloody straight razor from the Bellboy's body.

Jean : Oh shit!!

The doll then pounced on him. It was intending to finish him off the same way it killed the Bellboy! Jean used all of his strength in an attempt to pull the knife away form him but it was no use.

Jean : (Damn it! I don't have any more strength in my hands! I'm done for!)

Just as he was about to be stabbed, something awakened within Jean. He was given a second dose of strength that he used to effortlessly push the doll off of him. He the materialized a sword out of the same energy that enveloped him and proceeded to cut down the accursed doll once and for all.

Jean(breathing heavily) : It's.... over... now...

Jean then passed out.

Meanwhile with Kakuro, Jaiden and Daisuke.

Kakuro : Ahh! What good weather for sunbathing! I can do this for hours.

Jaiden : Hey, guys! There's someone falling from the roof!

Daisuke and Kakuro : Huh?!

Both of them looked upward as they saw a man falling from the roof. He was then sliced several times in the air and eventually fell to his death!

The three of them looked away from what remained of the man as the police arrived at the scene.

Meanwhile at Jean's room

Jean was awoken by a very concerned Joseph and Abdul.

Joseph : Jean! Wake up!

Jean : Huh...? What happened...?

There's no time to waste! What happened to you ?!

Jean : Uhh.. Stupid doll.. Attacked me and killed the Bellboy.....

Jean then fainted once again.

Abdul : Joseph, we need to get him to somewhere safe! Our location has been compromised! I'll go get the rest!

Joseph : Got you, Abdul!

Character Biography

Jaiden Ueno

An up and coming youtuber that loves pokémon. However, she sees them more as pets and thus doesn't really train her pokémon. She goes to the same school as Daisuke and Jean but she is in a different class. She also gets quite hyper fixated on certain things that catch her eye or things that others talk to her about.

Likes : Animating, playing video games , strawberry and blackberry products (smoothies, yoghurt, cake and more), taking care of her birds Arci and Soy and experimenting with her hairstyle.

Dislikes : Rude drivers, going to the dentist, annoying roommates and her birds getting sick.

Ability : Unknown

Chapter 6 - 100 Miles and Runnin'

At the nearby police station - Outside the interrogation room

The rest of the group was waiting for the police to finish questioning Jean about the events that conspired in his hotel room.

Joseph : So, do any of you have any theories about the doll that Jean talked about.

Kakuro : Maybe it's a vengeful spirit trapped inside a doll like a Banette.

Jaiden : But that still doesn't explain why the guy received the same cuts as the doll. Maybe that guy was using some sort of magic to control the doll but he also shared whatever damage the doll sustained as a consequence.

Daisuke : Yare Yare. Things keep getting worse for us. First, the school gets attacked, then we crash land here and have to fight some rocket launching asshole and now we have to deal with this?! Give us a break.

Jean exits the interrogation room

Abdul : Jean! What did they ask you in there?

Jean : Well, I told them where and how I found the doll and also how the doll killed the Bellboy. However, I left out the part where I slashed the doll several times. Instead, I told them that the doll was mysteriously slashed several times before I passed out.

Daisuke : Wait, how did you cut the doll when it was the one holding the razor?

Jean : I somehow materialised a sword out of some blue energy and then I passed out.

Joseph : (Interesting) Alright everyone. It's time for us to leave this crazy town. I'll go get a van from the nearby auto shop. The rest of you have to go get our things.

The rest : Understood.

The group exits the police station and prepare to leave the town using a second-hand van that Joseph purchased.

15 minutes before departure - Outside the Pyrite Grand Hotel

Daisuke and Jaiden had just finished packing up their things and were waiting for the others to finish packing theirs.

Jaiden : Daisuke, do you think that doll that tried to kill Jean was being controlled by the guy on the roof?

Daisuke : Well, it's a no brainer. That guy shared the same wounds as that doll.

Jaiden : So that means that there are more of them that are going to be coming after us?

Daisuke : Unfortunately, you are right.

Jaiden(emotional) : I just hope that mom...sniff ...and dad don't get too worried.

Daisuke : ....

Jaiden's reaction makes Daisuke think about his family once more. however, that thought was brushed aside when he noticed Jean, Kakuro and Abdul exit the hotel.

Daisuke : Mr. Abdul! Did Mr. Joseph say when he is going to pick us up?

Abdul : Joseph said that he would be coming in around fifteen minutes. However, he also said that he would be buying some supplies for us.

Kakuro : Why so, Mr. Abdul?

Mr. Abdul : Because we are going on a road trip to Gateon Port.

Jean : Oh, man ! How fantastique! I've always wanted to go on a road trip!

Mr. Abdul : Well about that.. We are going to be going trough the desert.

Jean : Aw man! If only those stupid assholes didn't try to kill us!

Kakuro : Don't worry Jean ! Once all of this is over, we could go on another road trip !

Jean : Thanks man!

Kakuro : No need to thank me!

Daisuke : (Yare, yare. I wish that I was just as good at distracting myself from all these things as Jean.)

Just then, Daisuke sensed a familiar psychic signature approaching them at a high speed.

Daisuke : (Ah, looks like Mr. Joseph has arrived. Better get going.)

The group then quietly entered the van and began leaving Pyrite Town behind.

Twenty minutes later - In the van

The group was sitting in silence when Jaiden spoke up.

Jaiden : Hey guys, do any of you feel like we're being followed?

Joseph proceeds to check the side mirror on his side of the car.

Joseph : I don't see anyone tailing us, but you do raise a good point. Daisuke, try to sense if there's anyone tailing us.

Daisuke : Huh?! Since when did you know about that?

Kakuro is seen with a nervous expression on his face.

Joseph : Well, I saw you and Kakuro using psychic powers to defeat that guy. Don't underestimate my perceptiveness! Haha!

Jaiden : Wait, you guys have psychic powers?! Can you show me? Please!

Daisuke : Not now Jaiden, I've got to focus to sense psychic signatures.

Daisuke begins sensing the area around them and picks up on multiple foreign psychic signatures.

Daisuke : I've got it ! There's two of them! And another two in pokéballs!

Kakuro : Daisuke! Let's get that bastard!

Daisuke : You took the words right out of my mouth!

Daisuke materialises a pistol out of electric energy and Kakuro prepares an Amethyst Wave as Joseph winds down the windows and the two begin their assault.

Daisuke fires at the invisible assailant, drawing blood from their arm. With their invisibility compromised by their blood, the assailant reveals themself as a man with tanned skin and brown hair with a semi-muscular build.

Earl : Rrrghh... You'll pay for this you piece of shit! Dragapult, use dragon darts!

Dragapult fires two Dreepies at the van. The attack is then destroyed by Kakuro's Amethyst Wave.

Kakuro : Sorry, you can't force people to pay for something they didn't purchase.

Earl : Shut up, you cherry headed loser! I'll kill you and your entire family! Then I'll paint my house with your blood!!! *Man continues ranting*

Capitalising upon the man's rant, Daisuke conjures a wind disk in his hand and throws it at him and his Dragapult. Daisuke then releases his telekinetic grip form the wind disk, causing it to expand into a tornado that blows the man and his Dragapult into the sky.

Earl : AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Daisuke : Let's finish this fool, Kakuro.

Kakuro : Agreed, Daisuke!

Daisuke begins charging electricity in his hands to such a degree that it turns red while Kakuro charges up a psionic laser. The both of them then fire at the man.

Earl : EdzgcsfwdjfbiubveubAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

The man was then blown even farther away from the still moving van, dying upon impact with the ground. However, Daisuke and Kakuro were still on edge.

Joseph : What's the matter? He's already been dealt with. Wait, there are more coming after us!?

Kakuro : Yes! We've sensed around 5 to 6 more psychic signatures approaching us at extremely high speeds and many more in poke'balls! We need to go faster!

Joseph : On it!

Kakuro : Wait, there's another one underneath us!

Joseph : What!?

BANG!!!!

The van was suddenly blasted off the ground by a large bug and ground type pokémon.

Joseph : OH SHIT!

Jaiden : Ahhhhh!!

Abdul : Everyone brace for impact!

Jean : Oh, merde!

Fortunately, Daisuke and Kakuro were able to combine their telekinetic abilities to ensure a safe landing for the van.

Joseph : Shit! The van isn't moving! The earlier collision must have damaged it!

Abdul : Oh no! They're approaching fast! We have to get out of the van!

Everyone begins to exit the van. However, the gang that was chasing them were already catching up to them.

Joseph : Everyone, run for your lives!

Joseph then narrowly avoided being hit with a mud shot from his left.

Biker Leader: There's no use running! You're all surrounded!

Joseph and the others look around themselves. Realising that they were surrounded, they had no choice but to fight.

The fight began with the bikers summoning their pokémon which consisted of ground types such as Onix , Sandslash and Excadrill.

Bikers : Kill them all!!!!

The biker's pokémon then went into a frenzy and started attacking members of the group.

Joseph was attacked by a Sandslash and an Onix. However, he was unfazed and began using the same ability he used to fight off the soldiers in the school to fight back against the biker's pokémon.

Onix and Sandshrew: *Agressive noises*

The Onix and the Sandshrew launch themselves towards Joseph in an attempt to attack him. However, Joseph manages to bob and weave them every time they try landing a hit on him until they are exhausted. Joseph then counters with a barrage of punches which knocks out both pokémon.

Joseph : Is that all you youngsters got? I know all of you can do better than this!

Biker Leader : (This damn geezer is getting on my nerves. Nevermind, I'll make him eat those words!)

The biker leader summons more pokémon to attack Joseph, to which Joseph takes them all on and quickly defeats all of them. He then proceeds to knock out the Biker Leader.

Meanwhile, the other group members were fighting against the Biker Grunts who had summoned more members . Daisuke was holding his own against several ground type pokémon.

Biker Grunt 1 : Ay ya'll focus on the dude with the star hat ! He's got some psychic and elemental powers and shit!

Biker Grunt 2 : You heard him! Get that dude!

Daisuke : Bring it on shimataheads!

Suddenly, Daisuke and the bikers were ambushed by a giant bug type pokémon that emerged from the ground.

Biker Grunt 2 : What the fuck!?

Daisuke : Huh?!

The bikers and their pokémon tried escaping from the giant bug pokémon. However, they were cut off by another one that emerged near Kakuro, Jean and Abdul who had just finished fighting the grunts on their side of the battlefield. The other giant bug pokémon then proceeded to massacre the bikers and their pokémon before turning its sights on Kakuro, Jean and Abdul.

Abdul : Jean, Kakuro ! Defend yourselves!

The giant bug Pokémon then dug underground and emerged at Abdul's location.

Abdul : !!!

It then proceeded to stab Abdul with the horns on its head.

Jean : NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! MR. ABDUL!!!!!!!!!!!

Kakuro : DAMN YOU YOU SHITTY BUG!!

Joseph : OH NO!!!

Kakuro proceeded to fire an Amethyst wave at the bug, however, it was able to burrow underground and proceeded to slash at his left leg with it's horns.

Kakuro ; Hrrnghh!

Jean : Kakuro!

Kakuro looks at Jean.

Kakuro : Jean! Behind you!

The bug pokémon was then slashed by Jean. However, Jean was pushed backwards instead of the bug being cut.

Jean : Thuwacck!! What the hell?! That thing has a barrier !!

Joseph : Don't worry ! I'm coming!

Meanwhile with Daisuke and Jaiden - The same time that Abdul is ambushed by the bug Pokémon - 40 metres away form the rest of the group

Daisuke was wrestling with the bug. Even with the use of his abilities, Daisuke was struggling to fight against the bug due to its physical strength.

Daisuke : (Shit! This thing is too strong! Even with telekinesis I can barely keep this Cyksorial's horns from piercing my neck!)

The Cyksorial"s horns start digging into Daisuke's skin, causing him to bleed.

Jaiden : (Daisuke's is going to be killed at this rate! I've got to help him!)

Jaiden takes out two pokéballs from her pockets.

Jaiden : Arci! Soy! Help Daisuke!

The two Swellows fly towards the Cyksorial and start attacking it, allowing Daisuke to judo flip it into the ground two times before picking it up by its hind legs and spinning it around before throwing it away.

Jaiden : (Damn! I didn't know that Daisuke had moves like that!)

Daisuke then proceeded to launch several of his electric Tanto at the Cyksorial who proceeds to block them with its barrier.

Daisuke :(I see, that mon has a barrier. If I remember correctly, its barrier is emitted from its horns so all I have to do is break those horns.)

Daisuke proceeds to launch a barrage earth spikes towards the Cyksorial which causes its barrier to break. He then jumps into the air dan kicks the Cyksorial's horns as he is descending, causing the horns to shatter.

Cyksorial : *Panicked noises*

Panicked, the Cyksorial escapes. However, Daisuke had sustained injuries towards his neck during the fight.

Daisuke (slightly exhausted) : Thanks.. for the help,.... Jaiden.

Jaiden (flustered) : Th--Thanks, Daisuke! Let me help you with your wounds!

Daisuke : What are you implying?

Jaiden : Just let me touch your wound!

Daisuke : Okay then?

Jaiden touches Daisuke's wound, instantly healing it.

Daisuke : Wait, did you just heal my wound?

Jaiden : Of course! What do you think I did? Put an ice pack over it? Now, lets meet back up with the others!

Jaiden and Daisuke approach the others, unaware of what happened to Abdul.

Jaiden : Hey guys! You wouldn't believe what just happened! Daisuke kicked that piece of shit bug's horns so hard that they broke and it ran away! How cool is that?

Jaiden and Daisuke immediately notice that something is wrong due to Abdul's absence and everyone else not reacting to Jaiden's remarks about Daisuke's confrontation with the Cyksorial.

Jaiden : Guys... Is everything alright? Where's Mr. Abdul? Why are you all so quiet?

Joseph then approached Jaiden.

Joseph : Jaiden... Abdul... He didn't make it.

The weight of Joseph's words proceeded to hit Jaiden and Daisuke like a speeding truck. Abdul never did anything to deserve such a fate as the one he was handed. He showed lots of care for those around him even if they treated him poorly.

Jaiden : Wait, I can do something !

Jaiden runs to Abdul's body and proceeds to heal his wounds.

Jaiden : See, he's ...

Although Jaiden was able to heal Abdul's wounds, he was still not responding.

Jaiden : Gone....

Jaiden bursts into tears as she is comforted by Joseph. The others watch in silence. However, unbeknownst to everyone, the Biker Leader managed to regain consciousness and escape on his motorbike.

Biker Leader : (Well, I guess i could kiss most of that paycheck from that lady goodbye. Luckily that Cyksorial managed to kill that one guy. )

Back to the group

The group proceeds to bury Abdul's corpse in the sand.

Jean : You know, after all of this is over, I want Abdul to be given a proper burial.

Joseph : I agree, Jean.

Kakuro : Mr. Joseph !

Joseph : Yes, Kakuro?

Kakuro : Daisuke and I managed to recover the bikers bikes. They seem to be in usable condition so we were thinking of using those bikes to continue our journey now that our van is no longer usable.

Joseph : Well in that case, we'll be transferring our supplies and belongings to the motorbikes.

The group transfers their belongings onto their respective bikes and ride into the distance.

Pokémon Biography : Gaiawyrm ( first appeared in chapter 3)

Gaiawyrm is a normal-ground type pokémon that lives exclusively in the Orre region. Unlike most pokémon, Gaiawyrm doesn't go trough evolution. Rather, it goes trough a growth cycle where it starts as an egg in a cocoon which hatches into a hatchling which becomes a juvenile and matures into an adult. It is not allowed to be used in pokémon battle or caught due to it being endangered with a population of only 10,000.

Pokémon Biography : Cyksorial

Cyksorial is a bug-ground-psychic pokémon that is also native to the Orre region like Gaiawyrm. It also lacks any evolutions or pre-evolutions as it goes trough a growth cycle where it hatches from its egg. In this state it is a nymph Cyksorial. After some time, the nymph Cyksorial molts and becomes an adult Cyksorial. This is when it gains its psychic typing. Cyksorials are quite aggressive and are illegal to own due to multiple cases of pokémon trainers being killed by them. Its psychic power is also quite limited as it is only capable of producing barriers. Its psychic abilities are also tied to its two horns . If both horns were to break, it would be incapable of using its barrier to protect itself from harm.

Chapter 7 - The Meaning of Being Lonely

Pallet Town - Serizawa Family residence - 3 hours and 45 minutes after the attack on Cyan Academy

While Daisuke and the rest of the group were in Orre, Daisuke's family had filed a missing persons report on Daisuke after failing to get any leads on his whereabouts.

In the police station

Officer Miki : Hello professor. What brings you here today?

Julie : It's... about my son, Daisuke.

Officer Miki : What happened to him?

Julie : He... he went missing after I dropped him off at school today.

Officer Miki : Which school does he attend?

Julie : He goes to Cyan Academy in Viridian.

Officer Miki : Alright I'm going to call up the guys in Viridian to inform them about his disappearance.

Officer Miki goes to another room to call the Viridian police station.

5 minutes later

Officer Miki : Alright, the guys in Viridian said that they found Daisuke's bag and water bottle along with his friend's bag near the assembly point. They concluded that Daisuke and his friend might have ditched their bags in order to quickly escape from the school. Witnesses also said they saw someone summon a Scyther that proceeded to chase several students that were running towards the school entrance . Unfortunately, those students didn't make it.

Julie(slightly unnerved and emotional) : Did Daisuke and his friend make it?

Officer Miki : Well, we didn't find samples of their blood at the crime scene nor their bodies. So they are most likely still alive.

Kosuke who was at Julie's left spoke up.

Kosuke : Excuse me officer but do you know where Daisuke could be right now?

Officer Miki's moved her head towards Kosuke at a surprisingly fast speed, causing him to become frightened.

Kosuke : Whoa whoa whoa, I just asked where my little bro is ! No need to death stare me!

Officer Miki : Sorry! It's just something I do sometimes! Anyway, we couldn't find where he went after that. But some witnesses said that they saw a military chopper leaving the school. They also said that it crashed into a Salamance at crazy speeds and then flew away. Because Daisuke and his friend weren't anywhere to be found at or nearby the school, they might have boarded said chopper in order to escape from the attack. Two of his teachers also went missing along with a passerby who we also think boarded the same craft.

Julie : So there is a chance that Daisuke is safe?

Officer Miki : There is, but we just have to keep searching and hope that he is safe.

Julie : Okay, we will be taking our leave now.

1 day later with Daisuke

It was around 1:30 a.m. The rest of the group was sound asleep except for Daisuke. He was trying his hardest to sleep but he just couldn't after everything that happened. The school being attacked, them being hunted down, Abdul dying. Those events were still fresh in his mind, not to mention how his family is dealing with him not being around. Especially his mother. It was almost too much to bear.

Daisuke :(Damn it! Why can't I forget these for just a little bit so I can get some sleep?! It's driving me nuts! Everything!)

15 minutes later, Daisuke was able to fall asleep. However, his predicament wasn't over yet.

Daisuke woke up in a white, colourless void.

Daisuke : Huh? Where am I?

Daisuke then answered his own question

Daisuke : I must be in a dream. Can't even get some rest in my dreams.

Daisuke proceeded to wander the white colourless void until he saw some buildings.

Daisuke : Wait a minute, isn't that my house ?

Daisuke proceeded to enter his "house".

Daisuke : (What the hell happened here?)

Daisuke looked around the "house". The furniture was comprised of a mish-mash of parts from other things like cars, motorcycles and even pokéballs. There were many different kinds of pokémon there but they didn't seem to notice him at all. The hallway itself was warping like some kind of alternate dimension from Ultraman.

Daisuke : Uhhh... What is going on?(I really need to see Mrs. Anne again after all of this is over.)

Just then, Daisuke spotted a familiar woman across the hallway.

Daisuke : Mama?!

The woman responded back

Julie : Daisuke?!

Daisuke ran towards his mother and embraced her with tears flowing from his face.

Daisuke : Mama!! I missed you so much! I'm sorry if I ever pissed you off or ruined a day for you!

Julie : Oh, my son! You don't need to apologise! Where are you? Are you okay?

Daisuke : Oh, I'm at-

Daisuke pulled himself and his mother away from a Pin Missile that was aimed at the both of them.

Daisuke : Ma! We have to run!

Daisuke used telekinesis to destroy the wall behind them and used his elemental ability of electricity to run away with his mother.

Julie : Daisuke! What is happening?!

Daisuke : I don't know?! They didn't even notice me when I came in!

Julie and Daisuke run as far as they can, however they seem to not go as fast as they are supposed to.

Julie : Daisuke! We need to go faster!

Daisuke : This is the fastest I can go!

Julie : Daisuke! The ground underneath us is moving backwards!

Daisuke :!!

Daisuke looks towards the ground, realising what his mother said was true as they started to slow down even further.

Daisuke :(Shimata! It's no use running away! The more time I spend running away, the faster the ground moves backwards! It's like running on a treadmill that keeps going faster and faster!)

Daisuke starts coming up with a plan to escape this perilous situation.

Daisuke :(Okay, if I keep running this way, the ground will move too fast in the opposite direction and we will be blown backwards towards the approaching pokémon. If I try running diagonally forward, the same thing might happen. So the only thing that I can do is this very risky maneuver. )

Julie : Daisuke are you sure about this?

Daisuke : If it means we get out of here alive? Yes.

Daisuke stops running. Using his earth and telekinetic abilities in tandem to create an explosion in the ground that launches him and his mother into the sky. He also used parts of the ground as shields from the pokémon's attacks. After landing, Daisuke realised that running away was practically useless because the ground would just move in the opposite direction again. He then pitched a crazy idea to his mother.

Daisuke : Ma, I think that we should stop running and start fighting.

Julie : Daisuke, you might be right. When we tried to run away just now, the ground started moving backwards to keep us in place. It seems that the only thing we can do is fight!

Daisuke : So be it.

Daisuke ran towards the pokémon that were chasing them started using every ability his disposal to fight the pokémon. His mother also joined suit. The both of them started using their abilities to do battle with the pokémon that were chasing them. Among those pokémon were Gurdurr, Graveler, Bisharp, Vigoroth and many more. Daisuke started by impaling most of the pokémon with spikes from the earth, followed by his mother who telekinetically moved the spikes towards more pokémon causing them to be impaled as well. Daisuke then summoned a small tornado to trap the pokémon and proceeded to throw his electric Tanto towards them which caused them to faint. Daisuke and his mother then proceeded to launch a combo attack.

Daisuke : Ma, put all your energy into this!

Julie : Got it!

Daisuke summons multiple earth spikes, conjures multiple electric Tanto and wind disks while his mother charges a psionic blast in her hands.

Daisuke : NOW!

Daisuke and his mother fire their combined attack at the pokémon, causing them to disintegrate.

Daisuke's mother then collapsed to the ground.

Julie : Pant.... pant.... Daisuke, you know your mother isn't built for stuff like this anymore right?

Daisuke : Hehe.. Sorry, ma.

Suddenly, the space around them started to distort.

Daisuke : Oh, shimata! The space around us is collapsing!

Julie : Grab onto my hand, Daisuke!

Just as Daisuke was going to grab his mother's hand, the space around them collapsed and Daisuke was jolted awake.

Daisuke : Pant.. pant... Oh shit!

Daisuke started searching for his mother in a panic.

Daisuke : Where are you where are you where are you where are y-

Kakuro : Daisuke, calm down!

Daisuke : Kakuro! Have you seen a woman with long black hair who is also wearing glasses around here?!

Kakuro : Daisuke!!

Daisuke was startled by Kakuro raising his voice.

Kakuro : Are you alright, Daisuke? We woke up to you screaming about your mother and then you took Jaiden and ran somewhere. We were really worried about you!

Daisuke : Wait, I took Jai-

Daisuke glanced towards his left. He saw a confused and slightly scared Jaiden.

Daisuke : Uhh... Sorry?

Kakuro : Daisuke, if you're having a hard time coping with everything that has happened recently, we're here for you.

Daisuke : Thanks, Kakuro.

Kakuro : Now, lets all get back to our campsite, Mr. Joseph and Jean are waiting for us.

Daisuke's mother. She loves and cares for him very much. She is also the pokémon professor of the Kanto region. It is a position that she has held for 20 years. She also loves her two other children Kosuke and Jennie but she is a bit biased to Daisuke due to them having similar interests. She specialises in genetics and caring for pokémon.

Likes : Backstreet Boys, coffee, spending time with her children and making new discoveries about pokémon.

Dislikes : Rude trainers , trainers that say weird stuff , trainers who don't care about their pokémon and the Pokémon League's incompetence.

Chapter 8 - The Docks of Orre - (Big Girl In a Small World)

In the desert near the Orre docks. - 5 hours after Daisuke woke up

Jean : Monsieur Joseph! I see some buildings up ahead!

Joseph : That must be the dock. Everyone, ditch the bikes.

Kakuro : Why must we ditch the bikes, sir?

Joseph : Because those bikes were from a biker gang. If we entered the docks with these motorbikes, there is an incredibly high chance that we will be arrested by the authorities. Therefore, we must abandon these motorbikes and continue on foot.

Jaiden : Aw, man! I'm already exhausted from the heat!

Joseph : Don't worry Jaiden! We are almost there! After we reach, I'm going to treat all of you with ice cream.

All : Hell yeah!

Joseph : Now! Lets go!

The group makes the rest of the journey on foot. After 10 minutes, they reach the docks and enjoy some ice cream.

Daisuke : I knew the ice cream would be good, but I didn't expect it to be this good!

Jean : Man, if those guys at the ice cream stand expanded their business, they'd be rich!

Jaiden : And those Spheals were so damn adorable!

Kakuro : Even for someone like me who normally tends to avoid cold foods, this is really good!

Joseph : (Heh. I'm glad that those kids are enjoying themselves around here. It's like they don't have to worry about being assassinated at any time! It's like they can actually be kids!)

Joseph then remembered that they were supposed to get on a boat to get out of Orre.

Joseph : Everyone! I'll go find a boat for us to board to get out of here! The four of you stay here, okay?

Daisuke : Yes, sir.

Joseph : Alright, I'll call the four of you over later.

Joseph goes to the registration desk at the dock.

Joseph : Hello, there. I would like to get a boat.

Clerk : Oh, where would you like to go, sir?

Joseph : Well... Can you tell me all the available destinations you have today?

Clerk : Well, today the ships are going to Galar, Kalos and Unova. However, for some reason everyone who books a trip to Unova gets a 50% discount. When I asked the manager he said that the owners told him to put a 50% discount on all trips to Unova.

Joseph : (Well, I'm a bit short on cash right now and I'm not in the mood to go to the ATM right now, so I'll just pick the trip to Unova.)

Joseph : Alright, I'd like to purchase the Unova trip .

Clerk : Alright sir. That'll be 5000 Pokédollars.

Joseph then calls the other to the docks where they are sent to a section where they wait for their ships captain to show up.

30 minutes later

Joseph : (When is the bloody captain going to show up?!)

The others meanwhile, voiced their frustrations out loud.

Daisuke : Yare, yare. At this point, we'll have to camp for an entire day for that damn captain to show up.

Jean : Mon dieu! How long will it take this damn captain to reach here?!

Kakuro : That captain and the heat is pissing me off!

Jaiden : Urggghhh! I can barely take it anymore!

A woman wearing a sailor uniform then appeared from behind them. However, she was holding a can of beer in one hand and her stomach was slightly protruding, signifying that she was a heavy drinker.

Joseph : (Please, Arceus! Make sure this woman doesn't cause our boat to sink! )

Captain : Hey, sorry for being late just now. I - hic - had one too many cans of beer. Anyways, ya'll can get on the boat now.

The group gets onto the boat.

Daisuke : Yare, yare daze. The ship smells like rotten Remiraid and Mareep diarrhea!

Jean : Well, at least the boat is equipped with the essentials like life jackets and some oars.

Kakuro : But still, the smell is killing me! Did the staff even bother to clean the ship?! There's also a lot of holes on the deck!

Jaiden : Urggghhh.. The floorboards keep creaking every time I take a step ! Listen!

Jaiden takes a step forward and an extremely loud creak is heard.

Joseph : (Bloody hell! I can't believe I got scammed!)

Daisuke : You know what? I'm going into the ships cabin. I can't stand the shit smell any longer!

Kakuro : I'm going there as well.

Jean : Me too.

Daisuke, Jean and Kakuro descend into the cabin. Leaving Jaiden and Joseph alone on the deck.

3 hours later

Jaiden starts a conversation with Joseph.

Jaiden : Mr. Joseph, do you think that we'll make it out of this fiasco safely ?

Joseph : As long as we be careful and look out for each other, we'll be fine.

Jaiden : It's just that everything is happening so quickly, earlier today I was at one of my shows, then some guy tried to use a doll to kill Jean at the hotel, we got chased by bikers, Abdul died and now we're on this boat. It's like everything that could go wrong went wrong.

Joseph : Jaiden, if everything that went wrong actually went wrong, we wouldn't be on this boat or alive at all.

Jaiden : It's just that everything is too hard to process right now. On top of that, my friends and family are probably panicking right now.

Joseph : Don't worry Jaiden, I'll do everything in my power to make sure all of us come out of this situation safe and sound .

Jaiden : Sniff* Thanks, sir.

Meanwhile with the rest

The rest of the group (Daisuke, Kakuro and Jean) had fallen asleep in the cabin due to exhaustion and were just starting to wake up.

Daisuke : Hrggnn.. What time is it..?

Jean : It's 3: pm .

Kakuro : You know, this is the best sleep that I've had in a while.

Jean : Strangely, I feel the exact same as you, Kakuro.

Daisuke : Not for me though, I had a repeat of defeating Sorre and having to deal with those bikers and the Cyksorial. In the dream they were a lot tougher as well because I was the only one fighting them.

Jean : (Man, I feel bad for Daisuke. He can't seem to get any rest at all even when he's sleeping.)

Kakuro : Daisuke, earlier today when you were having that dream you said that you saw your mother, right?

Daisuke : Yeah, I did.

Kakuro : Does your mother also have psychic abilities?

Daisuke : Yes, she does.

Kakuro : According to your behaviour when you were in the dream, you seemed to be talking with your mother. Is this true?

Daisuke : Yeah, we talked for a bit but those pokémon attacked us.

Jean : Whoa, who are "those pokémon"?

Daisuke : In the dream, I was in a white void and after wandering around for a bit, I saw my house. When I entered my house, the furniture was made up of parts of random stuff like motorbikes, cars and pokéballs. The hallway was warping like some kind of alternate dimension and those pokémon were there, but they didn't notice me at all. They only started attacking me when I was in the middle of a conversation with my mother.

Kakuro : So, was your mother in the dream or was it your mind playing tricks on you?

Daisuke : I'm not sure whether my mother in that dream was my actual mother or not.

Jean : Maybe your mother was trying to reach out to you using her psychic powers but was only able to access your dream.

Kakuro : That theory of yours sounds quite plausible, Jean.

Daisuke : No, my mother's psychic abilities are not powerful for her to do that normally. Unless she was hyper focused in trying to find me..

Suddenly, a loud buzzing sound is heard by the three of them.

Kakuro : Huh? Where is that sound coming from?

Jean : Wait, I'll go check.

Jean searches around the cabin for the sound. He eventually tracks it to a radio on a shelf.

Jean : Huh, this radio's the source of that weird noise. I'll just turn it-

A bolt of electricity suddenly shoots out of the radio, almost hitting Jean.

Jean : Oh, shit! There's an enemy mon in here! We've got to tell the others!

Daisuke : On it!

Daisuke tries to open the door but he is attacked by the same bolt of electricity and knocked across the cabin.

Daisuke :Duwacch!

Daisuke is slammed into the cabin's wall and is knocked out.

The bolt then disappears into a power socket, unknown to everyone.

Kakuro : Daisuke! Jean, we have to start destroying any electronic device in this room! That pokémon is hiding in the electronics!

Jean : On it!

Kakuro and Jean start destroying all the electronics in the cabin.

Meanwhile on the ships deck

Joseph and Jaiden were trying to relax when they heard the commotion that was happening downstairs.

Jaiden : Mr. Joseph! They're getting attacked!

Joseph immediately rushed towards the door that lead to the cabin. Before he could open it, he was shot with multiple shotgun pellets.

Joseph : Uraagghh!

Jaiden then glanced at the direction where the pellets came from.

Jaiden : !!!

Jaiden was alarmed when she saw that the one to fire the pellets was none other than the captain of the ship.

Captain : What's the matter, girl? A Litten got your tongue? No worries, you won't be speaking anymore after I'm done with my work.

Jaiden : You piece of shit!

Jaiden proceeded to throw a punch at the Captain, but she dodged and proceeded to hit Jaiden with a cross which sent her tumbling to the ground.

Jaiden : Ahh....ssttttt... Huh?

Jaiden looked around, everything seemed bigger all of a sudden. That's when when she realised the captain had an ability, just like them.

Jaiden : (Shit! Her ability is to shrink people! Maybe even objects as well, and I've been hit with it! I've got to be careful now!)

Jaiden's current size : 5 cm

Jaiden started running as the Captain shot at her with a shotgun.

Captain : Go to hell you little piece of shit!

Jaiden reached into her pockets, grabbing her pokéballs.

Jaiden : Go! Arci! Soy!

Arci and Soy emerge from their pokéballs in their normal size.

Jaiden : (So the captain can only shrink one person at a time!) Arci, Soy! Use Aerial Ace on the Captain!

Arci and Soy proceed to fly around at high speeds, dodging the captain's pellets before crashing into the captain, sending her into the ocean.

Jaiden : *Breathing heavily*

Jaiden then rushed to Joseph in order to tend to his wounds.

Jaiden : Are you alright, Mr. Joseph?

Joseph : Yes, I was able to use my ability to reduce the amount of bleeding to a level where I would survive long enough.

Jaiden : Alright, I'm going to heal-

The door suddenly bursts open as a bolt of lightning collides with Jaiden, almost dropping her into the ocean. Fortunately, she as able to grab onto the ships railings. Kakuro and Jean are also blown outside.

Joseph : Oh, shit!

Kakuro : Mr. Joseph! That thing is dangerous! It can move trough any electronic device! I'll be on standby!

Joseph : Alright!

Joseph stands up, creating two clackers in each of his hands. He then spins them around like nunchaku, preparing for when the bolt is going to strike.

The bolt then emerged from a hole underneath Joseph.

Joseph : What!?

Joseph's chin was cut by the bolt, leaving a burn scar.

Joseph :Hrnnn....(This isn't good! This ship is one of those kinds of ships that have wiring sandwiched in between the floorboards! That means that that thing could burst out from the holes left by that lady's shotgun pellets and the holes in the the floorboards!)

The bolt then manifests itself into a physical form, taking the appearance of a gremlin-like creature. It then proceeded to laugh at Joseph at an irritating frequency.

Grembolt : Kekeekekekekek!!!

Joseph : (This thing's laugh is pissing me off! It's intentionally doing this so I lose focus which will leave me vulnerable to another attack! )

The Grembolt then proceeded to enter the ships wiring system once again.

Joseph : (Wait! I remember now! We're in the middle of the ocean where there is lots of salt water!) Kakuro! Use the salt water!

Kakuro : Okay!

Kakuro then used telekinesis to grab some salt water .

Kakuro : (If what Mr. Joseph is implying is true, then that thing is weak to salt water! All I have to do is shoot it!)

Kakuro then used telepathy in order to sense the presence of Grembolt by scanning the movement of its mental signature.

Grembolt then jumped out of one of the holes, intending to finish off Joseph who was standing still.

Grembolt : Kehhahahaha!!!

Kakuro then fired the salt water at the Grembolt, knocking it into the ocean where its body began to break apart due to its electricity dispersing across the ocean.

Grembolt : Greaaaakkkk!!!

Before being completely destroyed, Grembolt raised its right arm in a manner similar to flipping someone off before being completely destroyed.

Joseph : Finally, that electric gremlin has been dealt with.

Jaiden : Guys, a little help please?

Kakuro : Grab my hand.

Kakuro helps Jaiden up back onto the ship.

Joseph : Jaiden, would you mind healing our injuries?

Jaiden : No problem!

Jaiden proceeds to heal everyone's injuries as the members that are still conscious regroup and try to think about their next course of action.

Pokémon Biography : Grembolt

Grembolt is a pure electric type typically found in areas such as power plants. This is because they feed off of electricity in order to maintain its physical form. If it is unable to consume enough electricity, its colours start to fade and its appearance becomes more rusted. They are also quite rude and frequently make insulting gestures towards people and other pokémon.

Chapter 9 - Secrets unearthed

1 hour after the defeat of Grembolt.

Daisuke wakes up in the cabin right beside the wall that he was slammed into.

Daisuke : Yare yare daze. I can't catch a single break with these motherfuckers on my tail.

Daisuke : (Better check on what's going on.)

Daisuke ascends the stairs towards the dock where he finds Jean relaxing on one a beach lounger.

Jean sees Daisuke.

Jean : Daisuke! You finally woke up!

Daisuke : Yeah, and I have a headache because of I hit my head on the wall.

Jean : Well, Jaiden healed your injury but I guess the pain will still be there.

Daisuke : Anyways, what are the others talking about?

Jean : From what I overheard, they're talking about what we should do next. I don't know what any of them want us to do, but I think that they'll tell us sooner or later.

Daisuke : Okay, so where are the others right now?

Jean : Oh, they're in the captain's quarters right now.

Daisuke : Alright, I'm going to make my way over there.

Daisuke then went downstairs once again. However, he heard a noise that caused him to start panicking.

Daisuke : That sound! It's water!

Daisuke rushes towards the origin of the sound to find water leaking into the ship. He then rushes upstairs to inform Jean.

Daisuke : Jean! The ship is leaking! I need you to get the others, I'm going to hold the water back!

Jean : What!? The ship is leaking!? I'll go get the others!

As Jean went to get the others, Daisuke ran back downstairs to see that the cabin was already knee deep in water. Daisuke then started pushing the water back using telekinesis while also using it to grab some nearby items to block the hole that the water was entering from. After pushing all the water out, Daisuke then used the items to create a seal to prevent more water from entering the ship.

Kakuro : Daisuke! You already mended the hole?

Daisuke : Yeah, I managed to seal it using a few items.

Joseph : That is quite impressive, Daisuke! Keep up the good work!

Daisuke : Wait, where's Jaiden ?

Kakuro : Oh, she's taking a nap right now.

Jean : Anyways, what should we be doing now?

Joseph : Well, we should start cleaning the cabin.

Jean : Eh?! Why should we be doing that?

Joseph : Who knows? Maybe some other people are going to be using this boat to travel and we don't want to come off as rude right?

Jean : *Sighs* Alright then.

Joseph, Jean, Kakuro and Daisuke start cleaning the cabin.

15 minutes later - As the group were cleaning the cabin

Kakuro and Daisuke were tasked with putting the drawers back up.

Kakuro : Daisuke, I don't think I'm feeling well right now.

Daisuke : You seasick or something?

Kakuro : Something like that.

Daisuke : Well, it makes sense because feline pokémon like you don't really like water.

Kakuro : Anyways, I'm going to the toilet. I feel like I'm about to vomit.

Kakuro goes to the toilet, leaving Daisuke to put the drawers back up alone.

Daisuke : Alright, I just have to lift this up and -

Daisuke slips on the wet floor and falls sideways.

Daisuke : Shit!

The drawer bursts open.

Daisuke : Huh. There's a folder in there.

Daisuke takes the folder and proceeds to read it. There, he finds a printed message.

Daisuke : (A message? Why would anyone put a message in a drawer? Let alone write down a message when they most likely have mobile phones.)

Kakuro : Daisuke, I'm back.

Daisuke : Kakuro, I found a message in one of the drawers.

Kakuro : Give me the message, Daisuke.

Daisuke hands the message to Kakuro who begins to read it.

Kakuro : "To Elizabeth(Lizzo), I had to print a message instead of calling or texting you because Interpol, Crimson and the Elite Four are getting suspicious of me. I know for a fact that they are tracing my texts and calls in order to find evidence of my involvement in various "activities". Anyways, your task is to find and eliminate Joseph Johnson and his entourage by any means necessary. However, I can't supply you with anything as Interpol is also tracking my transactions so you're on your own. Good luck from BOSS.

Kakuro : Daisuke, we need to give this to Mr. Joseph and ask him why he was named in the note.

Daisuke : Maybe the "BOSS" is planning something and doesn't want Mr. Joseph to intervene with his plans.

Kakuro : But why would he want Mr. Joseph to be killed? He's just a school headmaster.

Joseph : Actually, I'm not just a school headmaster.

Kakuro and Daisuke were startled by Joseph's sudden entrance.

Daisuke : Mr. Joseph, what are you implying?!

Mr. Joseph : A few decades ago, I was part of a task force assembled by Interpol in order to keep peace across the world by taking down crime syndicates. Over time, I gained quite a lot of notoriety, especially with the elites.

Daisuke : So you're meaning to tell us that the reason this "BOSS" wants to kill us is because he is afraid of you?

Joseph : Yes, that is what was implied in the message. I also have a feeling that he might have hired those armoured soldiers to attack our school.

Kakuro : If that is true, then he did all that just to kill you!?

Joseph : I'm afraid so.

Daisuke : What kind of person does that?! He probably has the money to hire an assassin but he chooses to hire and entire battalion of armoured soldiers to attack the school!? What did he do it for?!

Joseph : He did it to hurt me. To make me feel powerless from being unable to defend people that I cared about.

Kakuro : That means that guy is one sick fuck! We need to stop whatever scheme he is plotting!

Daisuke and Joseph are taken aback by Kakuro's resolve.

Daisuke : (Damn, Kakuro's dead serious.)

Joseph : Okay then, but we need to find more information regarding our aggressors in order to effectively thwart their plans.

A lightbulb lights up in Daisuke's head.

Daisuke : Wait! We could try searching the rest of the ship for more messages like this or classified documents!

Kakuro : Lets get started then!

Daisuke, Kakuro and Joseph begin searching all across the ship for more documents, much to the confusion of Jean and the now awoken Jaiden.

Jean : Jaiden, what do you think they're doing?

Jaiden : Don't ask me, I was asleep.

Jean : And I was scrubbing the toilet.

30 minutes later

Daisuke, Kakuro and Joseph found some items belonging to the captain and some more documents.

Jean : Daisuke, what are those?

Daisuke : These are some classified documents-

Jean : Whoa, whoa, whoa classified documents!? Why are there classified documents on a shitty ass boat like this?!

Daisuke : Well, it turns out that the captain of the ship was told by some "BOSS" to kill us!

Jean : Wait, so that captain is probably the one who hired those assassins and bikers to kill us!

Daisuke : Correct, now we are trying to find clues on who this "BOSS" may be or what company of sorts that he runs.

Jean : Alright then, give me some of those documents! I want to see them for myself!

Jean is given one of the documents by Daisuke and starts reading it.

Jean : It seems that this is the receipt for the boat. The name here is... Elizabeth.

Daisuke : That's the captain's name. We found it in this message.

Daisuke gives the message to Jean

Jean : So this "BOSS" is under suspicion from Interpol, the Elite Four and the champion of Kanto Crimson. Wait why is Monsieur Joseph's name in here?!

Joseph : Well, it's a long story.

Joseph explains his past to Jean.

Jean : So you were in a task force meant to deal with threats across the world?!

Joseph : Yes, I was.

Jean : Whatever happened to that task force?

Joseph pauses.

Joseph : ...That's a story for another day.

Jaiden : Guys, we'll be at Unova in about 20 minutes so we need to ready our things now!

As the boat sailed itself towards Unova, the group started readying their belongings.

Daisuke : Mr. Joseph, do you have a plan on what we're going to do once we're in Unova?

Mr. Joseph : Well the first thing I'm going to do is go to an ATM and withdraw some money from there. After that, I'm probably going to buy a camper van for us to stay in for the time being.

Daisuke : Damn, I've always wondered what living in a camper van would be like.

Kakuro : Same here.

Jaiden : Alright guys! We're going to be reaching Unova right now!

The boat arrives at Castelia City in Unova. The group marvels at the sight of the city's skyscrapers from the docks as they exit the boat with all their belongings the documents in tow.

Daisuke : So this is Castelia City? Looks a lot better than most people give it credit for.

Kakuro : I've heard of this place before, but actually being in here is a whole different feeling than hearing about what it looks like!

Jaiden : Whoa, those skyscrapers are way bigger than what I thought!

Joseph : Everyone! Welcome to Castelia City!

The group gets off the boat and begins exploring the city.

After reaching Unova.

The group was exploring Castelia City.

Jaiden : Man, the air here is so refreshing! It's like I just walked into a forest!

Kakuro : Yes, despite being a large city, the air around this city is very fresh.

Daisuke : Well, the air here is fresh because they started using more renewable energy sources such as solar energy last year.

Jean : Well, I guess my hometown could take a page out of this city's book.

The group then hears a vendor promoting one of the items on their menu.

Vendor : Hey, everyone! Try our latest item the Choco Caramel Bubble waffle Sundae!

Daisuke, Jaiden , Kakuro and Jean's eyes dart towards the vendor's stall. They then approach him.

Daisuke : Hello sir, we would like to buy four of the Choco Caramel Bubble waffle Sundae please.

Vendor : Aight! Coming right up!

The vendor makes the group's order.

Daisuke : Here is the cash.

Daisuke gives some cash that Mr. Joseph had given to the group as allowance.

Vendor : Thanks! Have a nice day!

Daisuke : You too!

Joseph : (Hm. These kids sure have sweet teeth.)

As the group sits down on a nearby bench to enjoy their dessert, two trainers start a pokémon battle.

Daisuke : (Damn it! I can't even enjoy my damn sundae with these motherfucking trainers around!)

Trainer 1 : I see you! Come at me!

Trainer 2 : Go, Fletchinder!

Trainer 1 : Go, Vaporeon!

Vaporeon and Fletchinder then start fighting.

Trainer ! : Vaporeon, use Hydro Pump!

Vaporeon shoots a Hydro Pump toward Fletchinder which it is hit by in the wing causing it to start falling out of the sky.

Daisuke : (Damn it! It's so difficult to eat with these bastards battling around here.)

Trainer 2 : Fletchinder! Use Aerial Ace!

Fletchinder dives into Vaporeon and slashes it, however, it does barely any damage due to the opposing Vaporeon using Acid Armour.

Trainer 2 : Shit!

Trainer 1 : Vaporeon! Hit him with another Hydro Pump!

Vaporeon uses Hydro Pump again, causing Fletchinder to fall out of the sky.

Trainer 2 then makes a bizzarre choice.

Trainer 2 : Wait, I forfeit!

Daisuke : (What?! A pokémon trainer forfeiting a battle?! )

Trainer 1 : Guess I win. Let's go, Vaporeon.

Trainer 1 puts his Vaporeon back into it's pokéball and Trainer 2 runs off to the nearest Pokémon Centre.

After witnessing the battle, Daisuke started thinking of several reasons why Trainer 2 forfeited the battle while finishing his sundae.

Daisuke : (Why did that other trainer forfeit the battle? Did he do it because he was already going to lose? Did he forfeit the battle to save himself from an embarrassing loss?)

Kakuro : Daisuke, are you alright?

Daisuke : Yes, I was just thinking about the battle that just occurred just now. Why did that other trainer forfeit the battle?

Jean : Maybe he knew that he was going to lose so he quit?

Jaiden : Or maybe he just didn't want his Fletchinder to get too injured.

Daisuke : Why so, Jaiden?

Jaiden : He probably cares about it like a friend and he didn't want it to get too injured to the point that it would faint.

Daisuke : "Like a friend", If so, then why do so many pokémon trainers abandon and neglect their "partner pokémon" or "starter pokémon" once they get stronger ones? It doesn't add up at all!

Jean : Maybe because they're a bunch of entitled assholes who only see their pokémon as a means to an end?

The conversation is paused briefly by Daisuke's silence.

Daisuke : ...Yes, they are.

Jaiden : Daisuke, not all pokémon trainers are bad people! I'm friends with some and they treat their pokémon really well!

Daisuke : Jaiden, I understand where you're coming from but I've seen far too many trainers who treat their pokémon well but pull a complete 180 when they get stronger pokémon or when their pokémon stop performing well in battles or don't perform well in battles at all.

Jaiden : Can you give us an example then?

Daisuke : Alright. This is a firsthand experience of mine from 7 years ago.

7 years earlier, Professor Cassia's lab.

Daisuke was looking at the multiple starter pokémon carrying out their daily activities in their miniature habitats while his mother was giving them food.

Daisuke : Mama, what do you think happens to the pokémon that people put in their pc?

Julie : They get put in a sort of simulation that resembles a field. It's kind of like a dream in there.

Daisuke : But how do they get their food? If they're in a simulation, that means they can't get food.

Julie : Don't worry my son. The pokémon are converted into data by the pokéballs. That means that they won't need to eat when they are in a pc because they are turned into data and data doesn't need to eat.

Daisuke : Okay mama! Can we go to the playground now? You said that we would go there at 5 and it's going to be 5 now.

Julie : Of course! Lets go now.

Daisuke and his mother leave the lab and go to the nearby playground.

30 minutes later - As Daisuke is playing in the playground he hears a strange noise coming from the forest.

Daisuke :(Hm? That's a strange noise. I'll go check it out.)

Daisuke goes into the forest and what he finds shocks him.

Daisuke : What?! There's an Eevee!

Daisuke had found an injured Eevee. It had bruises all over its torso and cuts to its face. Upon seeing it, Daisuke picked it up and rushed it to the nearest Pokémon Centre.

At the Pokémon Centre

Daisuke : Excuse, me. I found an Eevee injured in the woods. Can you please treat it?

Nurse : Sure!

The nurse then takes the Eevee to be treated.

A few minutes later, Daisuke's mother enters the Pokémon Centre.

Julie : Daisuke! Why are you here?

Daisuke : Mama, I found an injured Eevee in the forest so I brought it here.

Julie : Do you know who it belongs to?

Daisuke : No. I don't know.

Julie :Did you see another person or poke'mon there?

Daisuke : No.

Julie : Let's report this to the police then.

Daisuke's mother launches a report to the police.

Officer 1 : So you're telling me that this Eevee was abandoned and beaten by it's trainer?!

Julie : Yes, I could tell it was from a trainer because it had some moves that it couldn't learn naturally.

Officer 1 : so do you have any idea who this Eevee's trainer might be?

Julie : I'm not sure, maybe I could read his memories.

Officer 1 : Yeah, make sure to do it somewhere secure. We don't want anyone finding out about this.

Julie : Got it, Kazuma. Daisuke! We're going home now!

Daisuke : Alright mama!

10 minutes later at the Serizawa rescidence.

Julie : (Alright, time to read this Eevee's thoughts. Just have to calm it down first.)

Julie gives the Eevee some candy which it gladly takes. Julie then proceeds to read the Eevee's most recent memory of it's trainer.

In the memory

Trainer : Damn it! I keep losing and it's all your fault Dutch! If only you didn't have such a shit nature for battles!

Dutch : *Sad noises*.

Trainer : Shut up you sorry excuse for a Pokémon!!!!!!!!!!!

The Trainer then brutally stomps and kicks Dutch, who refuses to fight back due to it's loyalty towards him.

Dutch : *Groans painfully*.

Eventually, the trainer leaves Dutch injured in the forest. Julie then sees Daisuke come and bring it to the Pokémon Centre from it's point of view.

Julie : (What a heartless boy! To hurt and abandon his own pokémon like that. I'd better tell Kazuma about this.)

Julie informs Kazuma about what she saw in Dutch's vision.

Kazuma : What a horrendous individual! He's definitely sick in the head!

Julie : I don't know about trainers these days, ever since that Crimson guy became the champion and the new CEO of Silph co stepped in, all the new trainers that I have met have acted rudely to people and pokémon.

Kazuma : Did you see what the trainer looked like from the Eevee's memory?

Julie : Yes, he had brown hair, orange eyes and he was wearing a red shirt with khaki pants.

Kazuma : Alright then, I'm getting a few officers to search for that guy.

Kazuma gets some officers and they begin searching for the trainer. They eventually find and arrest him at the nearby Pokémart.

Kazuma : Hands in the air! You're under arrest for physically assaulting a pokémon!

Trainer : Whoa what the hell?!

The trainer is arrested and put on trial. He is proven guilty when traces of Dutch's blood are found on both of his shoes. He is then put in jail and his trainer's license is revoked.

Three weeks later

Julie is watching television as Daisuke is playing with Dutch whom they have adopted and his pet Oshawott Mamezuku. She switches to the news channel and is shocked to hear the latest announcement.

Reporter : In recent news, the trainer who was arrested three weeks prior for physically assaulting his Eevee has been released from prison and is looking forward to continue his pokémon journey.

Julie : What!? How could he be let free?!

Daisuke : Mama, is everything okay?

Julie : Everything is fine, Daisuke. I just need to process something very quick.

Daisuke continued playing with Dutch and Mamezuku, oblivious to what his mother had seen.

Daisuke : A few hours later I found out and I thought "How could this guy get bailed out? There was solid evidence proving his guilt! ''

Jean : Well, that's called corruption.

Kakuro : What that guy did was fucked up! He should have remained in prison!

Jaiden : I agree with you guys, he should have remained in prison and he shouldn't be allowed near pokémon ever again!

Joseph : If I was that trainer's father, I would be very disappointed in him and myself.

Unbeknownst to them, they were actually being followed by a man who matched the earlier description of the trainer very well.

300 metres away.

??? : (There's that bastard that got me put in the slammer 7 years ago! I would want to kill him now but he's surrounded by those other people! I've got to wait until he's all alone, then I can strike him when he least expects it. For now, I gotta recall my drone so they don't spot it .)

The trainer then recalls his drone as the group make their way to an ATM machine.

Joseph : Damn, where are all the ATM machines?

Daisuke : Maybe you could find one in a bank.

Joseph : No, the thing is, the last time I was here there were ATM machines on the side of the road. Why did they get rid of them?

Jean : I don't know, maybe because the city's management is extremely incompetent.

Kakuro : That is a valid reason for the lack of ATM machines.

Jaiden : Guys, it's getting late, we really need to find a place to stay the night.

Joseph : Alright, I'll go check us into the hotel right across the street.

The group enters the hotel right across the street and check in. They are then informed about their roommates by Joseph.

Joseph : Alright everyone, Kakuro is going to be sharing a room with Jean and Daisuke is sharing a room with Jaiden.

Daisuke (surprised): Sir, why am I sharing a room with Jaiden?!

Joseph : Ah, shit. Our budget is quite tight right now so we can only afford 3 rooms. Plus, I already got a single bed room for myself and this hotel doesn't allow refunds.

Jaiden : Where does it say that?!

Joseph : On the wall.

Joseph points to the wall, revealing the no refund sticker.

Daisuke : (Yare yare daze, this is going to be so awkward.)

Everyone gets into their rooms.

In Daisuke and Jaiden's room.

An awkward silence is shared between Daisuke and Jaiden as they set up their things. The silence is broken when the both of them hear a whirring sound coming from outside their hotel room.

Daisuke : Jaiden! Our location has been compromised!

Daisuke then used telekinesis to open the window before throwing an electric Tanto at the drone that was spying on them.

Daisuke(telepathically communicating with Kakuro) : Kakuro! Our location has been compromised! We have to get the shit out of here!

Daisuke then heard the sound of a pokémon being released from its pokéball.

Daisuke : Jaiden ! Run!

A Combusken then jump kicked its way into the hotel room through the window hitting Daisuke and causing him to slam trough the door into the wall.

Daisuke : (Shit! This Combusken is pretty strong. Must be at least level 30 by now.)

Combusken : Combusken!

Combusken continues its assault on Daisuke by unleashing multiple kicks towards him. However, Daisuke is able to keep up and counter it by grabbing one of its legs and throwing it outside, causing it to crash into a nearby building.

Combusken : *Battle cry*

The Combusken then launches itself towards Daisuke. It, however is met with an earth spike to the face as it is blown back and dazed by the impact. In that moment, Daisuke proceeded to Leo Kick it trough several buildings as their fight was brought further away from the hotel.

In the distance, Daisuke was being watched by the Combusken's trainer.

??? : (This isn't good! He is getting the upper hand against Combusken. Never mind, he isn't getting past me.)

Daisuke begins to overwhelm the Combusken who starts to get desperate. It uses flamethrower in an attempt to burn Daisuke. Daisuke however uses telekinesis in combination with his wind ability to turn the Combusken's own flamethrower against it causing it to hurt itself instead. Daisuke then finished the fight by using his psychic abilities to pin the Combusken to the ground before putting it to sleep.

Daisuke : *Pant* *pant*

??? : Man, what a great fight! Too bad no one was there to see it.

Daisuke : What!? It's you! Devon Matthers!

Devon : So you still remember me, Serizawa Daisuke.

Daisuke : What the hell are you doing here?! Are you working for that "BOSS" guy that wants me and the others dead?!

Devon : Ding, ding, ding! Your guess is correct. Unfortunately, I'll have to kill you now.

Daisuke : As if.

Daisuke then lauched several earth spikes toward Devon, which hit him. However, the spikes broke upon impact.

Daisuke : (The hell?)

Devon : What's the matter, surprised I didn't become a Kebab?

Daisuke looked toward Devon and saw that he had seemingly turned his torso into metal.

Daisuke : (Okay, this guy's ability definitely has something to do with metal. His metal can also break my earth spikes so they aren't effective against him. The most effective ability to use against him is definitely electricity.)

Daisuke then charged up electricity in his hands which he then fired towards Devon. However, Devon was able to tank the blast much to Daisuke's shock.

Daisuke : (How the hell was he able to tank that?! He also didn't even get shocked by the electricity!)

Daisuke then saw Devon, his arms melting from the heat of the electricity.

Daisuke : (That's it! His weakness is heat! If I charge my electric attacks enough, their temperature will be able to melt him!)

With this new knowledge, Daisuke started hitting Devon with every electric attack at his disposal. He also used telekinesis to guide the attacks towards Devon and to hold Devon in place to make sure he didn't get blown away by the force of the attacks. After enough attacking, Devon's arms melted completely and his legs were blown off.

Devon : Uragghh!!!

Daisuke continued to attack Devon with electric, telekinetic and physical attacks until he punched Devon into an electronics store.

Daisuke : (Alright! I've got him on the ropes now. I just have to keep up the pressure and he'll be beat in no time!)

As Daisuke ran towards where Devon was, a long metallic arm punched him in the ribs and sent him flying back.

Daisuke : Uragg..(Oh, shit, he can absorb metal as well!)

Daisuke then looked towards Devon who now had metallic limbs. Devon had absorbed the metal from the electronic devices in order to make himself new limbs.

Devon : How do you like my new limbs? Do you think they're cool?

Daisuke : They look like something an amateur would make. They also look like some edgy prosthetic form a comic that was written the 90's!

Devon : Speaking of comics, I can also do this!

Three metal blades protrude from each of Devon's metallic limbs as he slashed at Daisuke who summoned several more electric Tanto to attack Devon, However, they didn't seem to affect him at all this time.

Daisuke : (His body isn't melting anymore, this must mean that whatever metals he absorbed from the electronics must be extremely heat resistant!)

Devon : Heads up!

Daisuke : !!

Daisuke was then knocked into a Pokémon Centre. When he tried to get up, he fell to his knees in pain.

Daisuke : Hrnnnn!!!

Devon : What's the matter, can't fight anymore can you? You know, I plan to do some other things after I'm done with you like killing your mom, killing Dutch and killing all those officers that arrested me. How does that sound to you?

Daisuke : Hrn... Fuck... you...

Devon : Huh, how generic. I thought you'd say something else like -

Just then, Devon was hit by an Iron Tail from a Pikachu that was in the Pokémon Centre.

Devon : Stupid electric rodent!

Devon then grabbed the Pikachu by the neck ,dug his fingers into it and started absorbing the Iron from its blood.

Devon : You useless electric rodent! How dare you attack me, Devon Matthers! The soon to be greatest pokémon trainer grace this earth! After I'm done with you I'm going to wipe your sorry ass species off the face of this planet!

Seeing Devon suck the iron out of the poor Pikachu's blood enraged Daisuke, lighting a spark within him.

Daisuke : OaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Flames begin enveloping Daisuke as he explodes in anger, pushing Devon back and melting his fingers using telekinesis to move the Pikachu away from the blast radius.

Devon: What?! How dare you interrupt my speech!

Daisuke : Speech? All I could make out was some egomaniac pokémon abuser rambling about how he want to be the very best of a shit ton of idiots that do the same thing that he does.

Devon : How dare you!

Devon attempts to slash at Daisuke using the blades on his arms. However, the blades melted before they could even tough Daisuke's skin due to the heat that was emitting from Daisuke's body. Daisuke then grabbed Devon by the neck just as Devon did to the Pikachu and began rattling him like crazy before throwing him up into the air and unleashing a barrage of flaming punches on Devon while screaming :

Daisuke : ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA!!!!!!!!

Daisuke continued to pummel Devon with his punches before sending him flying with a charged flaming uppercut.

Daisuke : ROA!!!!!!!!!

Devon : Guaachh!!!

Devon's melted body fell to the ground, his visage now barely resembled a human after the fiery beatdown given to him by Daisuke.

Daisuke then approached him.

Daisuke : Alright I'm only going to be asking you this question once. Who hired you to kill me and the others?

Devon : F- Fine! I'll tell you! I was hired by-

Devon's body then explodes into pieces.

Daisuke : Holy shit!

Daisuke glances at Devon's remains.

Daisuke : Shit, I gotta get out of here. Are you okay little buddy?

Pikachu(weakly) : Pika pi.(Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little tired.)

He then runs back to where the rest of the group are.

Jaiden : Daisuke! Are you okay?!

Daisuke : Yeah, I'm fine. Just have a few cuts and bruises.

Jean : Damn, looks like we're on the run again. All that bullshit we went trough in Orre was for nothing!

Kakuro : Complaining won't get us any further away from these assassins. We need to move NOW.

Joseph : Kakuro is right, we need to get out of here immediately.

The group then packs up their stuff as Daisuke is healed by Jaiden. They then depart to another area.

Meanwhile, back in Kanto.

The BOSS was sitting in his office.

BOSS : (Shit, that walking pole has developed another ability. Because of that, I had to kill Devon. Nevermind, I still have many people to send after them.)

Someone enters the mysterious individual's office.

Employee : Sir, Champion Crimson and the Elite Four have requested your presence at the Indigo Plateau.

BOSS : Alright, I'll be there in a bit.

The BOSS then departed his office in order to meet with the Champion and the Elite Four.

Chapter 11 - Kimi Dake o Mamoritai

Back in Kanto - at the Serizawa family residence.

Julie : What do you mean you don't give a shit!? Your son went missing! He might be dead by now! You know what? FUCK YOU!

Julie puts her phone down angrily.

Julie : Stupid bastard doesn't give a shit that his own son is missing! What kind of man is he?! I don't know what I saw in him the first time we met!

Jennie : Ma, what happened?

Julie : I was talking with your father about Daisuke going missing but he didn't give a shit!

Jennie : I told you dad was an asshole!

Kosuke then walks into the room.

Kosuke : Ma, give me the phone please.

Julie : Okay?

Kosuke then calls his father.

Kosuke : Hey, asshole! Get your ass back here! Your son went missing and you're playing around in Sinnoh?! What kind of dad are you?! If I was your dad I would beat your ass till you can't walk anymore! GET THE FUCK BACK HERE! Shit!

The family then proceeds on with their day while carrying lots of grief towards the disappearance of Daisuke and anger over their head's behaviuor.

At the Indigo Plateau - Champion's room

The champion, Crimson and the Elite Four were anxiously waiting for the arrival of the BOSS.

Crimson : Okay everyone. Relax and play this out like we planned, okay.

The Elite Four members nod.

Crimson : Okay, everyone. Let's drink a toast for the success of this operation.

Crimson takes one wine bottle and pours some of it's contents into his glass while the Elite Four members take wine from another bottle.

The BOSS then enters the room.

BOSS : Hello, everyone! What are we going to be discussing this time? Is it new rules for the Pokémon League? Is it about how we're going to be cutting Professor Cassia's research budget again? Oh, better yet about the new pokéballs my company made that have more durable switches?

Crimson : It's not about any of those, Zwei.

Zwei : Ooh, what are we going to be discussing then?

Crimson : We're going to be having a discussion about you.

Zwei : Oh, what about me are you going to discuss? My amazingly styled hair? My multibillion pokédollar company?

Crimson : No, it's not about any of those. It's about your involvement in the attack on Cyan Academy.

Zwei' demeanor then shifts from playful to serious.

Zwei : I beg your pardon?

Crimson : We know you hired those armoured soldiers to kill Joseph Johnson and the people and pokémon in the school.

Zwei then lets out a chuckle, disturbing Crimson and the members of the Elite Four.

Zwei : I'm surprised that you all managed to find out in such a short amount of time.

Crimson : No shit. You were always suspicious since day 1. When we heard about the attack on Cyan Academy, we immediately suspected you because the only individual with enough money and resources to hire and arm them is you.

Zwei : To be fair, they were a bunch of disgruntled war veterans who disliked your choices which caused this region's economy to go to shit and them to lose everything . Their homes, their families, their jobs and even their financial aid.

Crimson : Sure I did fuck up the region's economy but I've been doing my best to help it recover!

Zwei : And it's still absolute dogshit. A quick reminder for you Crimson, even if you multiply zero with 100, 000000, it will still be zero. Heh, you wouldn't know that because you dropped out of school in Standard 4!!! Hheheehehehehehehheehhahahahahah!!! No matter how much you try, you will always fail!

Crimson : You know what, let's get hi-

Crimson and the rest of the Elite Four collapse to the ground.

Crimson : What.. in fucks name?

Zwei : Oh, so you did drink from those bottles? Sorry to say but I got some of the employees over here to add a little special something in there. In other words, I got them to poison the contents of both bottles! Hahahahahahahah!!!

Crimson weakly look over at the Elite Four. Blood is spilling from their mouths and they aren't breathing at all.

Crimson : You... son ..of a bitch... You'll pay for this..

Zwei : As if. Hehehehhahahaahah!

Zwei then leaves the room while dancing as Crimson loses consciousness.

Back in Unova - The day after Daisuke fought Devon

The group was now trying to find a way to get out of Castelia City, however, the weather had become much worse since Daisuke engaged Devon in combat, causing multiple roads to be closed.

Joseph : Oh, come on! First our location got compromised and now the weather has now gone to shit! Moreover, most of the roads have been blocked because of the heavy rain.

Kakuro : I guess the rain is quite fitting for our situation as rain symbolises feelings such as sadness and a poor mood.

Daisuke : Well, being stuck with heavy rain is way better than being stuck in a desert.

Jean : I agree. I felt like my skin was going to peel itself off when we were in the desert.

Jaiden : I also agree. I love Orre but the heat over there can get really unbearable. Especially in the summertime.

Joseph : Anyways, we need to find a way to quickly get out of here. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Daisuke : Sir, what if we use a train to get out of here? That could work.

Joseph : Alright, I'll check the train timetables.

Joseph whips out his phone and begins searching.

A few minutes later,

Joseph : Alright, I found a train that's coming in the next hour. The ride is also free!

Jean : Quoi? What do you mean the ride is free?

Joseph : I checked on the website and it said that the ride was free. See?

Jean look at the phone and sees the cost of the ride.

Jean : Oh, but where is the train taking us to?

Joseph : The train is going to Nacrene City.

Jaiden : So we're going trough the Skyarrow Viaduct.

Daisuke : Well I guess we have to get going in a bit.

Joseph : You're right, Daisuke. We have to get going.

The group then began packing up their things. They then went to the train station.

20 minutes later - At the train station. (The rain had stopped)

The group was waiting in line to purchase their train tickets. Unbeknownst to them, they were being followed by two more of Zwei's assassins.

??? 1 : (There they are.) *Opens chat* Alright man, I've spotted them, they just finished purchasing their train tickets.

??? 2 : Alright, I'm going to follow them by using Skarmory to fly above the train. You'll go forward and wait there with your Pokémon. When the train is in your line of sight, get them to blast it into oblivion. Got it?

??? 1 : Yeah.

The mysterious assassins then follow the group .

Back to the group

The group had gotten seated at their designated spots on the train.

Set 1 - Daisuke and Kakuro

Set 2 - Jaiden, Jean and Joseph

Intercom : Attention passengers, the train will be leaving shortly. Make sure to make yourself comfortable on your trip to Nacrene City!

The train then started moving towards Nacrene City, leaving Castelia City behind. During that time, Jean, Joseph and Jaiden fell asleep.

Kakuro : (The scenery reminds me of my home.. sigh...)

Kakuro then begins remembering various events that occurred in his childhood.

7 years prior

Kakuro was playing alone while the other juvenile Mewtwo were playing together. After a bit, he got bored and began asking for the other juvenile Mewtwo to play with him in an extremely cheerful tone.

Kakuro : Hello! Would any of you like to play with me?

One of the juvenile Mewtwo looked at him, somewhat disgusted. However, Kakuro wasn't able to tell that.

Kakuro then asked many other juvenile Mewtwo to play with him, but he was met with the same response causing him to leave.

Kakuro : (Why does no one want to play with me? What is the reason?)

Over the coming days, Kakuro started feeling sad and frustrated due to the constant rejection he faced from his peers causing him to become secluded from the rest of them. This also caused his parents to start worrying about his mental wellbeing.

Kakuro : (Why does no one want to play with me? What is the reason?)

Kakuro's mother : Have you seen how different our son has been acting lately? He's not as cheerful as he once used to be.

Kakuro's father : This is quite concerning, let's go talk to him.

Kakuro's parents approach him.

Kakuro's father : Are you okay, son? Has something been bothering you lately?

Kakuro : It's just that... whenever I go ask the other children if they want to play with me, they always refuse.

Kakuro's mother : I have an idea! Why don't you ask them why they keep refusing to play with you?

Kakuro : Okay! I'll go ask them.

Kakuro then goes to where the rest of the juvenile Mewtwo were.

Kakuro : Everyone, I'm here to ask why none of you want to play with me.

Juvenile Mewtwo : Why we don't want to play with you? Because you're weird.

Kakuro : Huh?

Juvenile Mewtwo : You think we didn't notice you acting weird all this time? Talk about oblivious. And don't you come asking us to play with you ever again!

Kakuro : ....

Kakuro then went home. He earlier feelings of anger, sadness and rejection were now starting to boil over.

Kakuro : .........

Kakuro's mother : Are you alright, son?

Kakuro :.........

Kakuro's mother : Son?

Kakuro then stood up and threw something out of his hand.

Kakuro : Rahhhhhh!!!!

The object that Kakuro was holding explodes upon contact with the ground.

Daisuke : Kakuro! Are you okay?

Kakuro : !! Ah, no worries Daisuke. I'm fine. I was just looking outside.

Daisuke : You're thinking about your home, aren't you?

Kakuro : Yes. I was.

Daisuke : Well, I was also thinking about my family back home as well. It's okay to miss those you love and care about when you're far away from them. Remember, missing your family doesn't make you weak. It's a feeling that everyone feels when being away from home for their first time.

Kakuro : Thanks, Daisuke. Anyways, I'm getting a bit hungry. Want to get some food?

Daisuke : Sure.

Back in Kanto at a secret room in the Indigo Plateau.

Crimson regains consciousness.

Crimson : Shit... Where am I? Why the hell am I crucified?

He then looks to his left and screams in horror.

Crimson : Eahhh!!! What the fuck!?

He had just seen the dead body of one of the Elite Four members, Jill crucified right beside him. Strangely, there was no foul odour being emitted from him or the other bodies in the room.

Crimson : That sick fuck! He killed them but why not me? For what reason did he spare me?

Zwei (on the intercom) : Well, the reason I spared you was so that you could watch your region crumble before your eyes like a dried cookie in a hot drink.

Crimson : Zwei! You bastard! What are you going to do to Kanto?!

Zwei (on the intercom): That. Is none of your business, Crimson. Besides, I have some errands to run. I am quite the busy man.

Zwei then leaves.

Crimson : (That bastard! If I ever get out of here, I'm going to assemble all the gym leaders and we're gonna jump his ass and kill him! )

Back to Daisuke and Kakuro.

Daisuke : Man, those cakes were amazing!

Kakuro : Yes, they were quite delicious.

Daisuke : Anyways, do you feel like listening to music right now?

Kakuro : Yes, I do.

Daisuke : Okay then, here's a song that you should listen to.

Daisuke takes a pokédex out of his pocket.

Kakuro : Wait, you had a dex the entire time! You could've used it to call for help!

Daisuke: I would but we're being hunted down by assassins. They might be tracking our devices. Plus, the thing's busted from the helicopter crash and can't access the internet.

Kakuro : Then how are you able to play music?

Daisuke : I downloaded the songs before the crash. Anyways let's just listen to the damn song already.

*Kimi Dake o Mamoritai starts playing*

5 minutes later

Daisuke : Okay, time to play another so-!!!

Daisuke dodges a barrage of bullet seeds form above him.

Daisuke : Oh, shit we're under attack!

A Sceptile then broke trough the window and began attacking Daisuke and Kakuro. Kakuro then tried to kick it but he was grabbed by the leg and thrown away. Daisuke then attacked the Sceptile but he was knocked back by it's kicks.

Kakuro (telepathically communicating with Daiuske): (Shit, this Sceptile is very physically strong! What level do you think it is at?)

Daisuke (telepathically communicating with Kakuro): (This Sceptile might be around level 40. Whoever this Sceptile's trainer is, they are definitely a skilled trainer.)!!!

Daisuke then intercepted an attack from the Sceptile just as it was about to connect. He then slammed it into the train's floor. Unfortunately, the Sceptile then grabbed Daisuke by his left foot and slammed him upward which caused him to be flung through the roof. Daisuke then used telekinesis to ensure that he wasn't sent flying off the train's roof.

Daisuke wipes some of the blood from his temple.

Daisuke : Shit! These guys are starting to get really dangerous!

The Sceptile then climbs onto the train's roof.

Sceptile : *Battle cry* (Is that all you got?! I'm itching for a good fight and you're not delivering!)

Daisuke : If it's a fight you want, then I'M GIVING IT TO YOU STRAIGHT FROM HELL.

Daisuke light his fists and shins ablaze with his fire, causing the Sceptile to widen its eyes in shock and horror.

Daisuke : What's the matter? You scared?

The Sceptile then ran toward Daisuke, intending to finish him off with Leaf Blade. However, Daisuke grabbed and threw it into the air before unleashing a barrage of punches while screaming:

Daisuke : ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA!!!!!!!!!!!! ROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

The Sceptile was then blasted off the train into the sea below.

Daisuke then proceeded to use psychic sensing. Just as he was in the middle of using psychic sensing, Kakuro and Jaiden came up to him trough the opening made by the Sceptile.

Kakuro : Daisuke! Are you alright?!

Daisuke : Wait, I'm trying to sense for more enemies.

Jaiden : Daisuke! You're literally bleeding from the temple!

Daisuke : Not yet Jaiden, what if more of them are coming after us?

Kakuro notices a Skarmory in the sky with a trainer on it's back.

Kakuro : Oh shit! Everyone behind me!

Kakuro generates a barrier to protect Jaiden, Daisuke and Himself from the attack.

The Skarmory then circles back.

Jaiden : Alright guys! Shoot those bastards out of the sky on my count.

Daisuke then begins charging electricity in his hands and Kakuro readies an Amethyst Wave. They then wait anxiously.

Daisuke :......

Kakuro :.........

The Skarmory and it's trainer then dive towards them.

Jaiden : Fire!

Daisuke shoots out a stream of red lightning accompanied by Kakuro's Amethyst Wave. The two projectiles obliterate the Skarmory's body. However, it's trainer who used it a a shield then takes its remaining feathers and begins throwing them at the group. However, Daisuke and Kakuro use telekinesis to throw the feathers back to him causing him to be impaled with them and die painfully.

Jaiden : Alright, Daisuke come here so I can heal that wound of yours.

While Daisuke was being healed by Jaiden, he had an epiphany.

Daisuke : Wait, where are Mr. Joseph and Jean?

Jaiden : Oh, they're still in the train. I was with them when I decided to go talk to you guys. Then I found Kakuro on the floor on the way there. He told me to follow him because he said you were fighting a Sceptile and he needed me to be there in case you got stabbed or something.

Daisuke : Yeah, but I think that there could be another guy trying to kill us. He might even be in the train trying to kill Mr. Joseph and Jean!

Kakuro : Wait, I'll try sensing for threats.

Kakuro begins sensing the area.

Kakuro : !!!! There's four psychic signatures ahead of us! They're -

The train is blasted off the rails and begins to fall into the ocean. Daisuke then summoned several earth spikes to act as anchors for the ship, preventing it from descending into the ocean. However, the three of them were now hanging above the ocean.

Jaiden : Oh shit guys we're definitely gonna die! We're gonna die we're gonna die x3

Kakuro : Jaiden! Keep calm and focus! Whoever attacked us just now is approaching us! I can sense them!

Daisuke : Jaiden , can you send out Arci and Soy to keep our attacker busy while we get to the tracks?

Jaiden : Sure!

Jaiden takes out Arci and Soy's pokéballs and opens them.

Jaiden : Arci, Soy! Keep those guys busy while we get on the tracks!

The group's attacker then runs toward the train.

Alvin : (Alright, time to check if I got them.)

As Alvin looked downwards, he saw two Swellow, one normal and one shiny flying towards him. Alvin then proceeded to jump backwards but his chin was grazed by one of Soy's feather. Arci and Soy then proceeded to attack his Pokémon team which consisted of a level 36 Kadabra, a level 32 Excadrill and a level 34 Unfezant.

Arci began by Quick Attacking the shit out of Excadrill at high speeds before unleashing his inner Pikipek and pecking the Excadrill like a cloth being being pierced by the needle on a sewing machine. Soy however was fighting Unfezant and Kadabra at the same time.

Soy : *Battle cry* (Come at me motherfuckers!)

Unfezant *Screeches* (As if, Ugly.)

Arci *Screeches* (The shit you just called my girl?!)

Kadabra *Panicked noise* (Oh, shit...)

Arci flew into a rage after hearing the Unfezant call Soy ugly. He rammed himself into it using Aerial Ace and proceeded to peck and Quick Attack it even more. Seeing this Kadabra decided to use his superior brainpower to perform the best course of action he knew.

Kadabra : (Fuck this! I'm outta here!)

Kadabra then ran as fast as he could away from the rampaging Arci, leaving his trainer in disbelief.

Alvin : (What.. the fuck?)

Soy then noticed Alvin and used Aerial Ace to knock him off the railway into the ocean.

Alvin : AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

*Splash*

Daisuke, Jaiden and Kakuro finally get up to the railway.

Daisuke : Damn Jaiden, it looks like Arci and Soy took care of them before we could get up here.

Jaiden : To be fair, we were like 25 feet from where we are standing now. Plus the two of them are pretty fast so it's a no brainer that they managed to take care of our attackers pretty easily.

Daisuke : Yare yare daze. These birds are quite literally built different.

Daisuke and Kakuro then use telekinesis to put the train back on the tracks while also using it to take their stuff.

Jean and Joseph then exit the train with their things.

Jean : Mon dieu... I thought that I was going to die.

Joseph : You didn't just think that you were going to die, you started screaming "I'm going to die!!" at the top of you lungs.

Jean : That is a completely normal reaction if you're on a train that's hanging on spikes above the sea!

Daisuke : (Yare yare. Can't we just go already?)

Daisuke begins walking away from the train.

Jean :Whoa! Don't leave us behind!

Daisuke : Did I say I was going to leave anyone behind?

Jean : Okay then.

The others follow suit.

Chapter 12 - Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood

20 minutes after departing the train. - Nearby Nacrene City

Daisuke : La la la la la la la la la la, Kimi dake o mamoritai ! Wow wow wow Moichido, Wow wow wow Sakebou, Sekai wa owaranai!

Jaiden : (Damn, Daisuke really likes this song. He's been singing it for the past 20 minutes!)

Jean : Everyone! The city's come into view! That means we're getting close to it!

The group proceeds to enter the city.

1 week ago , A man in a suit was at work at the steel refinery on the outskirts of town.

??? : (Okay, I just need to pour in the flux and reducing agent. I've done this a thousand times now so I don't need to be worried about it. Even if some toxic gasses start being released, we have hundreds of Weezing on standby to get rid of the gasses.)

The man starts maneuvering a machine to insert the flux and reducing agent into the furnace. However, he starts noticing something wrong with the furnace as it looked like it was about to explode.

??? : Everyone, I think we should get away from the furnace.

??? : You're right Henry. That thing looks like it's about to explode!

As Henry and the other workers started walking away from the furnace, it exploded into a million pieces.

Henry : OH, SHIT!!!!!!!!

Henry and the others fell to the ground as the furnace exploded, causing a fire to break out.

???: Someone get a water type here!

Eventually, some of the other workers got some water type Pokémon to put out the fire. However, their boss wasn't too happy.

Boss : I can't believe this! I leave you all for 15 minutes and now one of our furnaces is toast! You know what! I'm sick of all of you always destroying my equipment with your incompetence! You're all fired!!!

??? : What the fuck!? You can't just fire us on the spot for some faulty equipment! Furnaces are supposed to be able to handle high temperatures!

Henry : Charles! Calm down!

Boss : And, I can't handle incompetent employees like all of you! You're all fired! Now get out before I get my Houndoom to incinerate you all!

Begrudgingly, the workers leave the premises.

Henry : Damn it! How am I going to pay the bills now?!

Charles : Hey, you could explain the situation to Ellie. She'll side with you.

Henry : All right then, I'm going home now. See you later, Charles.

Charles : You too, Henry!

Henry then makes his way home.

Ellie : Henry! You're home early!

Henry : Yeah, about that.......

Ellie : Henry, did something go wrong at work today?

Henry then explains the situation to his wife.

Ellie : So you got fired because the furnace exploded?!

Henry : Yeah! And he blamed us for being incompetent!

Ellie : If I could, I would've kicked that motherfucker's balls in!

Henry : Whoa whoa whoa take it easy. I'm going to go look for a new job tomorrow so you don't need to kick his balls in.

Ellie : Okay then.

Over the next week, Henry went to multiple establishments looking for a job. However, he faced constant rejection from every establishment that he tried to work at. The bills started piling up and Henry's rent was due very soon.

At a field.

Henry : Fuck... I got rejected AGAIN! How am I supposed to pay the bills now?! My rent is due in three days! What kind of husband am I if I can't put a roof over our heads!?

Henry begins to break down in tears as it starts raining .

??? : You're struggling to pay rent ? I can help you with that.

Henry : Huh?

Henry turns around. He sees a man with brown hair with white frosted tips wearing an expensive suit.

Henry : Who are you?

??? : My name is Declan Merrick Xavier and I have a proposal for you.

Henry : So, what is it?

Declan : I will give you 500,000 Pokédollars if you help me kill a few people.

Henry : What?! NO, I'm not assisting you in murdering people!

Declan : Think about it. If you refuse my offer, you'll be out of luck. I see that resume of yours isn't that impressive. You only have a high school diploma and 15 years of experience in the workforce. You bounced from job to job for the entirety of your 15 years in the workforce, unable to find one that suited you. Then you began working at the metal refinery, but then you got fired due to your boss's incompetence.

Henry : How the hell do you know all of this?! Have you been stalking me?! I'm gonna call the police!

Declan : Like I said just now, think about it. It would be a shame if I were to do something to that wife of yours.

Henry : Fine. I'll help you. Just don't do anything to my wife.

Declan : Okay then, here's the people that you need to take care of. Here's a gun with poison darts that you'll use to take care of them.

Henry hesitantly took the gun and photos from Declan. He then walked away.

The scene cuts to the group at their homestay.

Daisuke : Plus 4 . The colour is red.

Kakuro : Now, I put a plus 2.

Jaiden : Another plus 2.

Jean : Bordel de merde! I already have 10 cards!

Jean then draws an additional 8 cards from the deck.

Joseph : (Hehehe! The look on Jean's face makes me want to laugh so hard right now!)

Jean : Alright, I place a red 4.

Daisuke : Two green fours, stacked. Uno. Uno out.

Kakuro : Shit, you got played Jean.

Jean : Shut up Kakuro!

Daisuke : Yare yare daze. I'm going to go take a nap. See you all in a bit.

Daisuke then went to his room and fell asleep. He then began dreaming about an incident from the past. The time when he awakened his elemental abilities.

6 years ago - Serizawa household

It was a cloudy afternoon. Daisuke's father has just returned from a trip to Hoenn the previous day.

Daisuke : Dad, can we go to the park? I want to spend some time with you! You must really miss us after being in Hoenn for so long right?

Father : Nnnnggghhh...... Can't you shut up?!

Daisuke : Uh... Sorry, dad!

Father : No! I don't want to go to some stupid park where all I'm going to do is sit around like an idiot. At least I could participate in Pokémon battles when I was at Hoenn. But no! Now I have to go and babysit my stupid son that I didn't even want!

Daisuke : Hrnnn.... Hgkkk..

Daisuke then runs outside, Mamezuku who had witnessed the altercation firsthand proceeded to follow Daisuke outside.

Mamezuku : Osha! Osha! (Daisuke wait!)

Daisuke then ran all the way to the park. His mind at this point was a torrent of anger, sadness and rejection. Daisuke then sat down on a nearby bench and cried as Mamezuku was able to catch up to him.

Daisuke : Mamezuku, why do you think my dad hates me so much? Every time I try to do some sort of activity with him, he always bails out! Worst of all, he said that he never wanted me to be born!

Mamezuku : Osha osha osha osha osha. (Don't worry Daisuke! You always have me, Dutch, your siblings and your mother to be there for you! Don't waste your time with jerks like him!)

Daisuke : Alright then Mamezuku. I guess it's time to go home then!

Trainer : Graveler! Use Rock Blast on that Oshawott!

Daisuke heard and sensed the attack.

Daisuke : Mamezuku! Watch out!

Daisuke managed to roll out of the way in time.

Daisuke : Mamezuku! Are you alright!? Mamezuku!?

Daisuke then looked toward where Mamezuku was. His heart sank upon seeing Mamezuku with a sharp rock piercing trough his chest.

Trainer : Haha! What a weak Pokémon! It couldn't even survive a single Rock Blast.

Other people at the park : What the fuck?! Why would he use an attack on an innocent Pokémon!? This bastard is sick in the head! Someone call the cops!

Daisuke : Mamezuku......

Trainer : Hey, kid! Shut your whiny ass up and go home! It's just some stupid Pokémon anyways!

Daisuke's eyes lit up in a fury. Lightning surrounded him, the ground started to tremble and the wind became much stronger. He then grabbed Mamezuku's scallop and held it tightly in his hand with tears of rage flowing down his face.

Daisuke : HE. WAS. MY. FRIEND! RAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Daisuke exploded into a relentless fury as spikes erupted from the ground below. Lightning then proceeded to smite the ground around him and the strong wind turned into a miniature hurricane that sucked in many objects along with the trainer that killed Mamezuku and his Graveler.

Trainer : Graveler! Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhggggggggggggggggggggggg!!!

Daisuke then jolted awake.

Daisuke : Shit.. Not that dream again... Fuck it, I'm going outside.

Daisuke then goes outside for a walk. There he sees many trainers having fun and bonding with their Pokémon. This causes him to think about his disagreement with Jaiden in Castelia City.

Daisuke : (Maybe Jaiden was right. Not all trainers use their Pokémon as a means to an end. Some trainers genuinely see their Pokémon as friends and care about them no matter the outcome of a battle. Some might even think of them as a part of their family. I've got to go talk to her later.)

Daisuke's line of thought was interrupted when he was approached by a seemingly normal salaryman.

Salaryman : Excuse me, are you Daisuke ?

Daisuke : How do you know my name and what do you want?

Salaryman : Look, I need your help. This guy named Declan.. he forced me into a plan to kill you and your friends. If I don't do what he says, he's going to hurt my wife ! I need your help in order to protect her!

Daisuke : Alright then. What's your name?

Salaryman : My name's Henry.

Daisuke then scanned Henry's mind. He finds no evidence of Henry lying to him.

Daisuke : Alright then, I'll go get everyone.

Daisuke gathers the rest of the group and explains the situation to them.

Joseph : Henry, do you know where that man is hiding at right now?

Henry : He told me that his base was at one of the abandoned warehouses at the edge of town.

Kakuro : In that case, we need to know if he has any sort of abilities or strong Pokémon.

Henry : Yeah, he told me that you guys had some sort of abilities and all but I don't think he has one.

Jean : Did he have any Pokéballs on him?

Henry : No, I didn't see any Pokéballs on him but he probably has a few Pokémon at his disposal.

Jaiden : Alright everyone. If we want to ambush this guy, we're going to need a plan.

Daisuke : Well I have one. It's pretty simple. The plan starts with Henry calling that Declan guy asking for a meeting at the warehouse. When the both of then get in the warehouse, we'll sneak in trough the back door and wait for a little bit. Once Declan is in a prime position, I'll break the switches in his Pokéballs. Then, we'll trap and interrogate him. After we're done, we'll turn him into the police.

Jaiden : (Wow. That's a pretty good plan!) (Not that I'm biased or anything.)

Daisuke : Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Mr. Joseph : No, your plan sounds quite good.

Jean : I'm fine with your plan.

Henry : I'm in.

Kakuro : Me too.

Daisuke : What about you, Jaiden?

Jaiden : Uh... I... I'm fine with it!

Daisuke : ??? Alright then, let's go.

20 minutes later - At the same location where Henry first met Declan.

Henry : Hey, it's me, Henry. I want to discus some things with you in the warehouse. Okay. I'll meet you in 10.

10 minutes later - At the warehouse.

Declan : So! What did you want to talk about?

Henry : I want to know why you want to kill those people so badly.

Declan : Well, my boss told me to kill them.

Henry : Why does your boss want them dead?

Declan : I myself have no idea.

Henry :So why did you agree to this anyways?

Declan : My boss is that kind of guy that will force a yes out of your mouth when he wants something done.

Meanwhile, the group was hiding behind a few crates

Kakuro : (When do we strike, Daisuke?)

Daisuke : (Not yet. Wait until he's going to leave.)

Declan : Alright then, I'm going to leave-

Daisuke throws an electric Tanto at Declan which causes him to be stunned. Daisuke then imprisons Declan in his earth spikes. He then proceeds to break the switches in his Pokéballs.

Daisuke : Alright it's my turn to ask a question. Who do you work for?

Declan : Sorry kid. That information is classified.

Daisuke : Sorry, sir. Because you refused to answer, I'm going to have to pry that information straight from your psyche.

Declan : What- Aooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Daisuke then began digging trough Declan's psyche. As he did, many objects around them started levitating and spinning.

Jean : Mon dieu... This feels like an exorcism..

Daisuke continued digging deeper until he got a glimpse of the man's face. That alone was enough for him to verify the man's identity. Daisuke then stopped, causing Declan to fall unconscious.

Daisuke : Ah shit....

Joseph : What did you get, Daisuke?

Daisuke : That guy's boss is... Zwei Gesicht of Silph. Co!

Jean : Huh?!

Kakuro : What ?!

Jaiden : What the shit?!

Joseph : Oh my god!

Henry : So you're telling me that the CEO of Silph. Co wants you guys dead?!

Daisuke : According to Declan's memories, yes he wants us dead.

Henry : That means you guys need to get out of this town A.S.A.P! He might have sent more people after you guys!

Daisuke : Yeah, we're going to have to leave. Also, bring Declan to a hospital. Tell them you found him passed out on the side of the road. Also, we need to check that guy's phone to see if he told his boss anything about you.

Daisuke telekinetically grabs Declan's phone and unlocks it. He then thoroughly checks the messages on the phone.

Daisuke : All right, it seems that he didn't tell anyone about you so you're free to go now.

Henry : Wait, will I ever see you guys again?

Daisuke : Maybe, when all of this is over.

Henry : All right then. Stay safe, you guys.

Daisuke : You too, Henry.

The group and Henry then go their separate ways. Henry then disposed of the gun with poison darts by throwing it into the sewers. He then drove Declan's comatose body to the hospital .

The next day - As the group was preparing to leave Nacrene City.

Jaiden had just finished packing her things when she was called over by Daisuke.

Daisuke : Jaiden, I want to have a word with you.

Jaiden : Okay? (Is he going to say what I think he is gonna say?)

Daisuke : I just want to tell you that you were right.

Jaiden : ???

Daisuke : Not every Pokémon trainer views their Pokémon as tools. I saw people genuinely spending time and having fun with their Pokémon. That's why that trainer forfeited the battle. He valued his Pokémon's safety and wellbeing over his own victory.

Jaiden : Well, it's good that you realised that not all Pokémon trainers are bad people. Now, let's get on the van with the others. Last one is a Slowbro.

Daisuke : Tch. Bring it on.

Daisuke and Jaiden then race to the van.

Chapter 13 - Secret Usurper

Back in Kanto - 1 day after Zwei killed The Elite Four and imprisoned Crimson.

Many journalists and reporters were anxiously waiting for a certain CEO to arrive at the press conference.

Said CEO then arrives in a black suit.

Reporter : Mr. Gesicht! Can you explain what happened to Champion Crimson and the Elite Four?

Zwei : Well, yesterday, I was scheduled to join a meeting with them. However, when I got there, The Elite Four were dead and Champion Crimson was almost dead! They were poisoned! I saw the culprit over there with my very own eyes!

Reporter : Who is he, sir?

Zwei : He is a man named Joseph Johnson.

Reporter : Wait, he was one of the many people who went missing after the attack on Cyan Academy! Are you implying that he poisoned the Champion and The Elite Four?!

Zwei : Yes he did poison them indirectly, and he had a good reason for doing that. You see, he blamed them for not defending Cyan Academy when it was attacked. He then plotted to kill them via poisoning. He was somehow able to break a member of his inner circle into the Indigo Plateau who then proceeded to poison the drink that were taken by Champion Crimson and The Elite Four. After they got poisoned, the culprit was standing there. Apparently, he wanted to see them die in person. That was when I caught him in the act! After that, I called the nearby police officers who then detained him. He then proceeded to spill the beans when questioned.

Reporter : So, where is Joseph Johnson now?

Zwei : Unfortunately, we haven't been able to confirm his location. However, when we do catch him, we will have him put on trial in front of the whole region!

Back at Unova

The group was setting camp in the forest. They chose to avoid going to any cities or towns due to them not wanting to be ambushed by Zwei's assassins who were most likely hiding in said areas. At the same time, Joseph was just wrapping up a phone call.

Joseph : Alright. Ok. Thanks! Everyone, I just called up one of my old friends from my days in the Interpol. He said that a few agents will be coming to pick us up soon.

Kakuro : Mr. Joseph, why did you wait until now to call them for help?

Joseph : You see, I didn't contact them before because I was afraid that we were being tracked or stalked by our pursuers. But now, since we don't have anyone on our tails and the fact that our whereabouts are unknown, I was finally able to call for some help.

Kakuro : But when will they arrive, sir?

Joseph : They'll be arriving in 10 minutes. One of their base is quite close to our current location.

Daisuke : Finally, we'll be out of this mess. The first thing I want to do is go back home. After that, I'll use telekinesis to mess up my brother's pompadour.

Jaiden : Why would you do that?

Daisuke : For fun.

Jean : (I hope Daisuke doesn't mess with my hair anytime soon....)

Suddenly, a the group begin hearing a helicopter approaching them.

Joseph : That's strange. They aren't supposed to arrive yet.

Daisuke : I don't have a good feeling about this.

Kakuro : So do I.

Several Pokémon and people then jump out of the helicopter which then flew away.

Joseph : Oh no! We've being ambushed!

Daisuke : Everyone! Get ready!

Daisuke stomps his foot on the ground and summons multiple earth spikes which pierced trough a fair amount of the Pokémon either killing them immediately or injuring them. However the remaining Pokémon who were not hit then started running towards the group. Kakuro then fired an Amethyst Wave at some of the Pokémon causing an explosion which killed most of the weaker mons. However, the stronger ones were still standing.

Kakuro : What in tarnation?! How did they survive a point black Amethyst Wave?! These things must be crazy durable!

Jean : Kakuro! Monologue later, fight for your life first!

Kakuro : Okay!

Jean then proceeded to slash down more of the enemy Pokémon with his sword. He then unconsciously used his aura abilities to temporarily boost his speed and strength. Using his temporary boost, he proceeded to cut down 5 enemy Pokémon in a row to his surprise.

Jean : (Whoa! Did I just go into overdrive or something?)

The screeches of Arci and Soy then snapped him out of his line of thought as he noticed Jaiden and Joseph struggling to fend of the enemy Pokémon that were targeting them.

Jaiden : (Shit.. How many of these Pokémon are they sending to kill us?! )

Joseph was silent as he was fighting off the enemy Pokémon. Although he was able to take most of them out pretty easily, they kept piling on him which caused him to get separated from Jaiden.

Kabutops : (That girl's all alone! She a prime target now!)

The Kabutops then sprang forward towards Jaiden, intending to chop her head off. However, Jean then threw himself at the Kabutops and proceeded to slice it's head off before landing next to Jaiden.

Jaiden : Whoa!.. Thanks for the help Jean!

Jean : I appreciate it but we have Pokémon to fight.

Jaiden : I know!

The group continued fighting the enemy Pokémon. However, more and Pokémon were being dropped from other helicopters. To make matters worse, the group were getting tired and the Pokémon were getting more hits in.

Daisuke was fighting multiple dark types, fighting types along with dark and fighting types. He was able to use his abilities in tandem to defeat some of them but his tiredness caused his abilities to weaken. Because of it, he was punched straight in the face by a Pangoro. The punch was so strong that it caused him to bleed from his mouth and get blasted 30 metres away. At the same time, Kakuro, Jean and Jaiden were stuck in Kakuro's barrier which was on the verge of breaking with no way out and Joseph had just finished dealing with the Pokémon that were attacking him which left him extremely exhausted.

Jaiden : Kakuro! How long is the barrier going to last?!

Kakuro : Not very long! I can barely keep this thing together!

Joseph : (Oh no! I can't let them die! They're so young and have many more things to look forward to! I have to use it. Even if it means I myself will die. I will see them come out of this ALIVE.)

An explosive aura then explodes out of Joseph and engulfs him which drew the attention of all the enemy Pokémon towards him and away from the remaining members of the group. At the same time, the aircraft from Interpol finally arrived and opened it's hangar bay's doors.

Joseph : Sorry children. I can't let you all hog the action.

Daisuke : Don't tell me you want us to-

Joseph then looked Daisuke in the eyes. His expression confirmed Daisuke's suspicion.

Jean : Monsieur Joseph! We are not leaving you here!

Jean rushed towards Joseph with Kakuro and Jaiden following suit.

Daisuke : (Sorry, everyone.)

Daisuke then yanked them into the hangar bay of the Interpol aircraft and jumped in himself. He then turned around to see Joseph running towards the enemy Pokémon before the hangar door was slammed shut.

Joseph proceeded to generate two giant clackers in his hands and use them as flails to hit the enemy Pokémon. The sheer impact from the clackers caused the Pokémon that were hit to be sent flying back.

Joseph : How do you like this? I call it "Auradrive"!

Joseph then slammed one of his clackers together which caused a gigantic aura explosion that decimated most of the enemy Pokémon and could be felt by anyone in a 50 km radius.

Joseph : Come on! All of you can do better than this! You're supposed to be the best of the best and you're getting beat by an old geezer like me! How embarrassing is it?!

The remaining enemy Pokémon then charged at him. Joseph then continued with his assault by grabbing a Scolipede and using it to bash the other Pokémon right in their faces. He then slammed his fists into the ground which generated a gigantic aura laser around him which incinerated the rest of the enemy Pokémon. Joseph then looked towards the Interpol aircraft as it slowly faded from his view.

Joseph : (Good luck, children.)

Joseph then collapsed to the ground, losing consciousness.

In the Aircraft - shortly after takeoff.

Jean : Auggghh... Why did you yank us into here Daisuke? We could've helped Monsieur Joseph!

Daisuke : Jean. I wanted to help him too, but I knew what he wanted me to do the moment I looked at his face. He wanted us to escape without him.

Kakuro : Wait, why would he want us to escape without him?

Daisuke : I don't know. Maybe he he was desperately trying to get us out of there because we were getting ganged up on? (Most of the enemy Pokémon were targeting us like crazy. However, Mr. Joseph wasn't targeted as much although he is probably the most dangerous out of all of us. Something isn't right...)

Daisuke's line of thought was interrupted by Jaiden approaching him.

Jaiden : Daisuke, would you mind if I healed you right now?

Daisuke : No, not at all. (Finally, my pain will be relieved! I'm sick of having to deal with blood in my mouth!)

Jaiden then touches Daisuke's jawbone and heals the wound in Daisuke' mouth.

Daisuke : Thanks Jaiden!

Jaiden : You're welcome!

Daisuke then went to the toilet and spat out the remaining blood in his mouth in the sink before washing the blood away and washing his hands. He then proceeded to exit the toilet and returned to where the other group members were.

Kakuro : Thanks for the heal, Jaiden!

Jaiden (A bit tired and whispering) : You're welcome.. Wait....Is it me or is no one asking us if we're okay or not?

Jean (whispering) : Well, they don't seem to notice us at all. It's like we don't exist to them.

Kakuro (whispering) : You're right. They don't seem to acknowledge us at all. quite strange when they were sent here to get us out of here.

Daisuke : (Man, these agents must really pissed or something to not try to talk to us. Let me see what's up.)

Daisuke begins reading the thought of the agents in the aircraft.

Agent 1 : (Damn it, my shift was supposed to end 15 minutes ago but nooooooooooooo, we have to rescue some old ass fuck who didn't even get on the aircraft and four stupid kids. What a waste of my time!)

Agent 2 : (I want to be at my home and not in this stupid aircraft....)

Daisuke : (Yare yare daze. These guys are some of the most selfish agents I've ever seen. Well they're the only agents that I've ever seen as of now.)

Kakuro (whispering) : Daisuke, were you reading the agents' minds?

Daisuke (whispering) : Yeah. They don't seem too happy about us being here.

Jean (whispering ) : They're a bunch of assholes! Right, Jaiden? ....Jaiden?

Jean turned around and saw that Jaiden had fallen asleep.

Jean (whispering) : Damn, she's fallen asleep. Where do we put her?

Daisuke (whispering) : Alright then, let's go find a bed or couch.

The three of them then stood up and started searching for a bed or couch that Jaiden could rest on. After looking around for a bit, he found an unoccupied sofa.

Daisuke (whispering) : Alright, found the spot. Now we need to bring Jaiden over here. But if we do that, the agents might think that we're a bunch weirdos.

Jean (whispering) : The agents aren't also the nicest of people.

Kakuro (whispering) : What about using telekinesis to lift her here?

Daisuke (whispering) : I don't think that is the best course of action. Mr. Joseph probably didn't tell them about our abilities. So whether we like it or not, we'll have to carry her to the sofa.

Jean and Kakuro : Alright then.

The three of them then went back to Jaiden and carried her to the sofa. They got a few looks from some of the agents along the way but their goal was accomplished.

Kakuro : Our task is done. What should we do now?

Jean : Well, we could play Uno.

The group then spent the next hour playing Uno.

Intercom : Attention everyone! We will be landing now!

Daisuke : Alright guys, time to clean up. I'll go wake up Jaiden.

Daisuke went towards Jaiden who was still asleep.

Daisuke : Jaiden. The aircraft's landing. Wake up.

Jaiden : Urgghhh... Huh?

Jaiden then stared at Daisuke.

Daisuke : Jaiden, we're going to be landing. You need to get up now.

Jaiden (embarrassed): Oh! I'll go get ready now!

Daisuke : (What is up with her?)

The group then proceeded to leave the aircraft after it landed. They were then greeted by an average sized Hispanic man with red tinted sunglasses.

??? : Are you kids okay? Are any of you hurt? Where is Joseph?

Daisuke : We're fine but Mr. Joseph was left behind.

??? : What?!

Daisuke : I wanted to help him but the look on his face... He wanted us to go without him.

??? : .....Alright. You kids go get some rest. You all deserve it. Oh, by the way, my name is Alejandro.

The group is then escorted to another area.

Back at Kanto

Indigo Plateau secret room

Joseph woke up tied up to a chair.

Joseph : Huh? Where-

Joseph then noticed the crucified Crimson and deceased Elite Four members.

Joseph : Oh god! Are you okay!?

Crimson : I'm fine. The others.....

Tears begin to form in Crimson's eyes.

Crimson : I couldn't do jack shit.......

Joseph : What the hell happened to you?! Why are you crucified!?

Crimson : That two faced son of a bitch Zwei! We thought that we had him cornered but we were the ones that were cornered! He probably got someone to poison our drinks! I couldn't do anything to help the others. Lucius, Yelena, Thomas and Jill. I watched them die with my own eyes! That sick bastard didn't even let me die with them! He kept me alive to look at their dead bodies!

Joseph : (That's very fucked up!) Anyways, who's in of power of Kanto now with you missing?

Crimson : The one in power is that son of a bitch Zwei.

Joseph : Huh?! How is he able to take over Kanto?! Is that even legal?!

Crimson : That's the thing. He's a member of the Silph family. They helped the the founders establish Kanto in the first place. As a reward, the first ruler of Kanto, Emperor Tajiri made it so that if the Emperor died and there was no descendant of his to inherit the throne, the head of the Silph family will be able to take his place and rule Kanto. Since this law was passed by the first ever Emperor of Kanto, no one dared to touch it. Sigh... Look where it got us now.

Joseph : Damn, that's the reason why Silph Co. has a monopoly over the Pokémon trainer market in Kanto.

Crimson : Yeah, nepotism at it's finest. Anyways, how did you get put here?

Joseph : Well, that's a whole can of worms in itself.

Back at Interpol HQ.

The rest of the group had just been escorted to their room by Alejandro.

Jean : Monsieur Alejandro, do our rooms already have deodorant, soap, toothbrushes and face wash?

Alejandro : Yes, why?

Jean : Well, all of our stuff was in the van that we were travelling in. Which we left behind..

Alejandro : Ah, don't worry! All of those haven't been used yet.

Kakuro : Mr. Alejandro, I have a question too?

Alejandro : Yes?

Kakuro : Where are we?

Alejandro : We're currently at the Lapidarian Highlands.

Kakuro : Why was the headquarters constructed here?

Alejandro : Well, It is pretty close to a few regions so I guess the HQ was built here to allow quicker access to said regions.

Kakuro : Why-

Kakuro's mouth was covered by Daisuke's hand.

Daisuke : Kakuro, give this man a break. He still has work to do you know?

Kakuro : Ah, sorry about that.

Alejandro : (Damn, Joseph. Your job must be way less boring than I imagined.)

The group then arrived at their room.

Alejandro : Alright kids, here's your room.

Jaiden : Woah.... The room's huge! The ceiling must be like 14 feet tall! And there's so much space!

Jean then ran towards one of the four beds in the room. He jumped into the air before landing on the bed.

Jean : Oh my goodness! This bed is godly!

Kakuro : I like the view of the land outside.

Daisuke : (To be honest, this room is like a 5 star hotel to me.)

Alejandro : Now, I'm going back to work. You kids enjoy yourselves!

Alejandro leaves the group in the room.

The group then goes dead silent as they remember that Joseph is now either dead or at the mercy of their enemies.

Jaiden starts to tear up, crying silently.

Jean starts to do the same.

Kakuro looks out into the distance with a sad expression.

And Daisuke's face was covered by his hat. The star on the hat being over where his right eye was. His expression unseen by the others but his sadness felt by them.

Chapter 14 - Separation Anxiety

1 day after Joseph was captured ,Serizawa Family Residence :

Kosuke wakes up from his sleep.

Kosuke : (Alright, time to wake up Daisuke. Shit. I forgot he isn't here as of now.)

Kosuke then takes some clothes and takes a shower.

He then goes to the dining table to eat breakfast. There, he sees his mother passed out on the ground with an empty wine bottle in her right hand. He proceeds to pick his mother up and puts her on the sofa before covering her with a blanket.

Kosuke : (Mom hasn't been taking the recent events too well. Man, I hope Daisuke is found soon.)

Kosuke then resumes eating his meal.

Ten minutes later, Julie wakes up. Kosuke is cleaning the table.

Julie : Kosuke... Please come over here.... I have something to tell you...

Kosuke : What is it mom?

Julie : A few days ago, I had this one dream. I was in our house but it was all warped and distorted. There were Pokémon in our house but they didn't react to me in any way.

Kosuke : What happened next?

Julie : And then, someone entered the house. It was Daisuke.

Kosuke : What!? Are you sure it was the real him and not some figment of your dream?!

Julie : Yes, he was! After that, the Pokémon started chasing us and we had to run away. After a bit we fought them and won.

Kosuke : Damn, that was probably really sick!

Julie : But then we were sucked into some distortion thing and I woke up in bed.

Kosuke : Did Daisuke tell you where he was at the time?

Julie : He was about to tell me where he was until the Pokémon started attacking us.

Kosuke : (Damn those Pokémon! If they didn't butt in, Daisuke would be home by now!)

Kosuke then stormed out of the house.

Julie (while shedding tears silently) : (I wish you were here, my son.)

Meanwhile at Interpol HQ

Each member of the group wakes up late due to not being able to sleep peacefully.

Daisuke : Alright guys, I'm going to take a shower. If any of you need anything tell Kakuro because he can telepathically communicate with me.

Daisuke then grabs a towel and enters the shower.

Kakuro : (Where is it? Ah, there it is.)

Kakuro takes out a world map and a marker pen from one of the cupboards in the room and starts marking the places where the group has been to.

Kakuro : (Viridian City, Pyrite Town, Gateon Port, Castelia City, Nacrene City)

Jaiden : What are you marking on the map Kakuro?

Kakuro : I'm marking all of the locations that we have been to on our journey so far.

Jean : Why are you doing that?

Kakuro : Think about it, every location we have been to has always had at least one of Zwei's assassins waiting for us. Maybe we're being tracked as we speak!

Daisuke : THE FUCK!? WE NEED TO TELL MR. ALEJANDRO ABOUT THIS RIGHT NOW!!

Daisuke quickly finishes showering.

Daisuke : SHIT! I FORGOT TO BRING MY CLOTHES AND HAT IN!

Jean : Don't worry, I'll go get them!

Jean takes Daisuke's clothes and hat and passes them to him trough the slightly open door. Daisuke then closes the door and dresses himself using telekinesis. He then runs out the shower room, tracking Alejandro's psychic signature. The rest of the group follow suit.

Daisuke : (Left, right, right, left.)

Agent : (Whoa, whose kids are these?)

The group then finds Alejandro in his office.

Daisuke : Mr. Alejandro! We might be getting tracked by Zwei right now!

Alejandro : Wait, what?!

Kakuro then puts his map on the table.

Kakuro : The locations that are marked are places that we have been to before we came here. In every one of those locations, at least one assassin was sent after us.

Alejandro : Wait, that means he knows that you guys are here!

All of them hear several aircrafts approaching.

Jean : Oh, merde! They found us!

The alarms start blaring.

Intercom : Attention agents! The 40th floor is under attack! This is not a drill!

Alejandro : Everyone, move out! You guys need to get the hell out of here, it's too dangerous! I know a bunker that you guys can use in here. It's only two levels below my office. Come, on!

Daisuke : Mr. Alejandro, we can't just sit back and cower in a bunker while you risk your life out there!

Alejandro : Look, Starboy. You've barely 14. You're supposed to be worrying about school and getting a girlfriend! Not worrying about global conflicts and shit like this! Don't worry about shit like this! Just, enjoy the moment while you still can!

Daisuke goes silent. Alejandro then leads the group to the bunker.

Alejandro : Alright kids, whatever you guys do, DON'T come out of the bunker until I tell you guys to. I'll be keeping in touch with you guys trough this walkie talkie.

Alejandro passes the walkie talkie to Jaiden.

Alejandro : You guys take care, I'll be back.

Alejandro leaves the group in the bunker which was sealed shut. He then ran trough the hallway into the elevator.

Alejandro : (Alright, time to go, Zwiggo!)

Alejandro pulls out a Pokéball and calls upon his sunglass wearing Swampert, Zwiggo.

Zwiggo : *Battle cry*

Alejandro : Shhhhh! Don't be too loud!

Zwiggo : Swaaaaaaaaaaam.(Hehe, sorry. Got too excited.)

The both of them exit the elevator. Alejandro then picks up his gun from its holster and surveys the surroundings. He sees three armoured soldiers and three enemy Pokémon around the corner.

Alejandro (whispering): (Alright, there are 6 of them and two of us. Luckily, all of those Pokémon are fire types so Zwiggo can take them out pretty easily.) You ready Zwiggo?

Zwiggo (whispering): Swampert. (Yeah.)

Alejandro : Alright, on my count. 1. 2. 3!

Alejandro fires three shots that nail each of the armoured soldiers in the head. Zwiggo fires a high pressure water beam that decapitates the enemy Pokémon.

Alejandro : Good job Zwiggo. Let's keep going.

Alejandro and Zwiggo make their way to the elevator and go up to the 40th floor.

Ding!

Alejandro : (Ayayay.. This is a fucking warzone!)

That exact thought was running trough Alejandro's head the moment he saw what was going on at the 40th floor. He saw people fighting each other, Pokémon fighting each other ,people fighting Pokémon, corpses of people and Pokémon with missing limbs, fingers and eyes, burnt corpses and corpses that were on fire. It was a madhouse.

Agent : Mr. Alejandro! Thank goodness you're here! We really need help holding these motherfuckers off!

Alejandro : Alright, ready to rock, Zwiggo?

Zwiggo : Swaaammpert! (Hell yeah, let's kill those bastards!)

Alejandro and Zwiggo charge into battle. Alejandro shoots at the armoured soldiers while Zwiggo snipes and beats down the enemy Pokémon .

Back in the bunker:

The entire group has remained silent since Alejandro left. That is until:

Daisuke : I'm going out there.

The rest : What?

Daisuke : I'm going to help Mr. Alejandro.

Jaiden : Daisuke! Have you gone crazy!? It's probably a fucking warzone out there! Even with your abilities, you might not make it out alive!

Kakuro : Jaiden's right Daisuke. Our enemies must have taken some of their strongest Pokémon with them!

Jean : Wait, why are you suddenly acting like this? Don't you usually avoid conflict?

Daisuke : This time is different Jean. Our enemies might have some other people or Pokémon with abilities at their disposal. We're probably the only people that they have who can fight without guns and Pokémon! Sure, I prefer to live in peace and quiet but the peace of the world is potentially at stake here! If Zwei is able to destroy Interpol, that means that he can take their stuff and use it to conquer the other regions! He's probably already taken over Kanto by now and if we sit in this bunker and do nothing the whole world might be screwed! If we don't fight Zwei, peace will never be restored!

Kakuro : ..........

Jaiden : ..........

Jean : ..... You're right. As an aspiring swordsman, I cannot let evil take over the world! Even if we are few against many, we must fight to the bitter end!

Daisuke : Alright then, I'm going to help Mr. Alejandro. You guys go assist the other agents. And don't worry, I'll be fine.

Kakuro : Well then, what are we waiting for?

The bunker's door is opened by Daisuke using telekinesis and the entire group rushes out of it.

As the group was rushing towards the battlefield, Alejandro and Zwiggo continued running, gunning and beating up the enemy troops.

Alejandro : Keep it up Zwiggo! You're doing good!

Zwiggo : Swampert! (Thanks man!)

Zwiggo then grabbed the fist of a Pangoro who was about to punch him and threw it at several armoured soldiers. He then used a Hydro Cannon to blast several enemy Pokémon off the building, causing them to fall to their deaths.

Zwiggo : Swaaaa!!! (Die bitches!) Augghh!

Zwiggo is stabbed by multiple Razor Leaves, which knocks him out.

Alejandro : Zwiggo!

Alejandro rushes toward Zwiggo, however, he is trapped in place by a stray Mud Shot .

??? : Castform! Use Sunny Day!

The enemy trainer's Castform uses Sunny Day which causes the mud that Alejandro was encased in to harden, rendering him completely defenseless. He then glanced at the trainer. She had long curly brown hair and wore two big golden ring earrings.

??? : What's the matter, do I look good?

Alejandro : I have a wife and two children dumbass.

??? : Oh, unfortunately, I don't care about stuff like tha-

The trainer was thrown towards a nearby wall and knocked out .

Daisuke : Yare Yare. These people must have a disease called "unaware of their surroundings".

Jean : Right on point.

Alejandro : Starboy, what was that?!

Daisuke : I'll tell you later.

Daisuke glanced at the Castform. It looked shook, terrified even. He then raised his hand towards it and it fell asleep. he then took its Pokéball from its trainer's pocket and put it back in there before using telekinesis to destroy the mud that was encasing Alejandro.

Daisuke : Mr. Alejandro, please make sure that this Castform is held somewhere safe.

Daisuke then gave the Pokéball to Alejandro before he noticed many enemy Pokémon charging towards him. He then used telekinesis to dice some of them into several dozen pieces before using telekinesis again to shoot the remaining enemy Pokémon trough their necks with the blood of the diced Pokémon. Seeing Daisuke killing their Pokémon with ease caused most of the armoured soldiers to solely target Daisuke.

Armoured soldier E- 102 : Everyone! Target that star hat kid! He's extremely dangerous!

Due to their decision, the armoured soldiers started losing ground due to their forces being too unevenly spread.

Meanwhile with the rest of the group:

Jean, Jaiden and Kakuro were fighting off a horde of enemy Pokémon.

Kakuro : 360 Amethyst Wave!

Kakuro launches the Amethyst Wave all around him which causes a gigantic explosion which kills around 100 enemy Pokémon and severely injured 200 more. He then used Psystrike on the 200 injured Pokémon to finish them off. Jean and Jaiden on the other hand were slashing, stabbing and kicking the shit out of the enemy Pokémon at high speeds.

Jaiden : How do you like that?! Pieces of shit!

Jean : Non non non non non non non!

At the same time, Arci and Soy were assisting the Interpol agents by delivering them supplies and dealing with other flying type Pokémon.

Kakuro : Hueh! Hah!

Kakuro delivered several deadly punches and kicks towards the enemy Pokémon. He then threw several amethyst shards to the ground and out from them came sharp rods that pierced the enemy Pokémon. Kakuro then detonated the rods, causing another big explosion that decimated the enemy Pokémon. Kakuro then heard a familiar voice echoing trough the damaged walls of the Interpol HQ.

Kakuro : (That voice, it's Daisuke!)

Daisuke : ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA ROA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Daisuke was now completely focused on killing as many enemy Pokémon as he could. He was so in the zone that he could predict enemy attacks seconds before they even thought of them. Daisuke then used all of his abilities at once to conjure an elemental and psychic storm that wiped out the remaining enemy Pokémon. Seeing this, the armoured soldiers began retreating from the battlefield. After the fight was over, he then let out a triumphant battle cry.

Daisuke : ROOOOOAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Daisuke then collapsed to his knees, breathing heavily. The nearby Interpol agents then carried him to the medical bay.

Daisuke : How was I out there, Mr. Alejandro?

Alejandro : You were amazing out there, Starboy.

Jean : Hey how about us!?

Alejandro : I'll have to ask the others about that later.

They all then went to the medical bay to get patched up.

Meanwhile at the Indigo Plateau:

Joseph and Crimson were asleep. It was 9: 30 pm for them in Kanto while it was only 4:30 pm for the rest in the Lapidarian Highlands. At the same time, Zwei was conducting his daily visit for the two to mock them.

Zwei : Asleep already? Well, it looks like I can share some info now. In 1 week, I'll kill those stupid children and put you on trial Joseph. I already rigged everything so that you'll get the death penalty for the murder of the Elite Four and attempted murder of the stupid champion that you're sharing this room with. Anyways, I have a meeting to attend. Goodbye!

Zwei then leaves the room while performing a little dance.

Crimson *Whispering* : Okay, looks like we know his plan now. We have a week to get the fuck out of here. Today's the fifth, so we have until the twelfth to get out of here.

Joseph : *Whispering* : Alright then, what can we do to escape?

Crimson *Whispering* : You know how those guards have two keys on them right?

Joseph *Whispering*: One of them is definitely the key to our cell of a room.

Crimson *Whispering* : And the other key might lead to an armory or something. o, if you used your aura abilities to knock out the guard and snatch the keys from him, we could escape!

Joseph *Whispering* : Unfortunately, I can't use my aura abilities as of now. You see, I think that these chains that tie me to this chair are made of some kind of material that nullifies aura abilities. Either that or Zwei put some kind of implant in me that prevents me from using my aura abilities.

Crimson *Whispering* : Shit... I hope that your second theory isn't true.

Joseph *Whispering* : Me too.

Joseph and Crimson then begin brainstorming new ideas for escaping as the night grew older.
