Dill grinned back. "Well, at least there was an upside to getting the salt beaten outta me! I'm glad to've met you, Sal!"

"Right back at you, Sal-triv," Dill nodded. "Say, is it alright if I call you Sal?"

Dill looked up in half-alarm, as things didn't "suck" in the local dialect of his hometown. Despite not really knowing what Saltriv meant by that, he nodded. "Yep. It sure... uh, sucks," he sighed. His tail flicked as he silently stared at the ceiling.

"Tried to experiment with a technique, accidentally sent the beach through the dorms. I swear it was an accident, but, you know, tell that to the Corviknight, I guess," Dill shrugged.

Dill gave a grin, a mildly terrifying sight to see from a Feraligatr. He was glad to have at least made a friend in light of everything that'd happened back at Twist, even if Saltriv was by no means a replacement for Rye. He definitely looked forward to seeing what this oddly-colored Bayleef...

If the Feraligatr had eyebrows, they'd be pricking up as he looked over at the Bayleef. He seemed nice enough, and it wasn't like he had anywhere else to go. Besides, this was a team willing to let him join... "You'd do that? If so, then heck yeah!" he grinned.

"Alright, that's a relief to hear," Dill chuckled. "I guess it's only a matter of time, then, gotta- ow, fff... Grimer slime!" He massaged at his bruised self before slumping down into bed, his massive tail hitting the floor with a thunk. "Yep, whole lotta time."

He counts on his claws. "Hrm... you think there's room? Uh, if you haven't noticed, I'm a bit... you know, girthy as is. Still a bit new to me, not sure if that'll be an issue."

"Yeah, uh, that's always nice," Dill weakly smiled back, opening his mouth to add to this before stopping himself. Was he about to call this Bayleef a friend? He'd only talked to him for about five minutes, he wasn't sure he was bestie material. Besides, what if Rye showed up too? That would be...

Dill stayed silent for a bit. "I'm sorry to hear that," he said.

"I dunno, couple... weeks? Yeah, woke up in the restaurant a couple weeks back, been livin' out in the woods ever since," Dill said. "Only now tried to get a roof over my head, and well."

"N-no, no. I'm fine," Dill coughed, clenching his rows of teeth. "Uh, your turn, I guess."

Dill stared off for a moment. "It's this cozy little town by the mountains, can't be more than 300 living there. Explorers like dropping by, the soil's real fertile, and there's a lot to explore 'round Twist. Only problem is... well, Mount Twist tends to... e-erupt." He frowns to himself...

"Thunder Continent? Never heard of a Thunder Continent," Dill pondered. "Maybe it's a local name or something." The Feraligatr shifted in his bed, inciting a few creaks from the structure.

Dill chuckled a bit. "Well, er, let me be the first to say nice to meetcha, partner!" he piped. "Alright, my turn. If you're like me, where're you from? Going off of accent there, I'll guess Sun Major," he said.

"...hah! Well, how 'bout that! I did hear something about this Team Spectrum before... y'know. I reckon I'm part of this?" Dill asked.

Dill paused. "You know others?" he asked.

Dill hesitated for a moment. "I... uh, wouldn't say so," he asked, instinctively trying to scratch at his head and cringing in pain as a result.

Watching Zinc go, Dill blinked confusedly. "Explosions? You... probably shouldn't ask," he sighed. "Well, uhm... wanna chat? Got nothing else to do, I guess. You start, uh, Sal-triv." He butchered the pronunciation.

Dill noticed the Bayleef for the first time, raising an eyebrow at their unusual coloring. "Whoa, you're shin-? Sorry, sorry, you probably get that a lot," he coughed, his tail twitching. He wasn't sure whether name-sharing was the same around here, but he decided to take his chances. "Name's...
