"We're pretty weak. Or at least I am," he nodded. "I hope I can make new friends when I get back."

"I'm tempted to say this body," Shiron said. "I know it's not my own, but I can do so many things that just weren't possible before! But... I'll miss my friends. Haven't got any back home, y'know?"

"Seems like it," he shrugged. "Honestly I was living a pretty normal life for human standards, and then I got called."

"Maybe... Hm," he stopped to think about it. "I... I think I'd tell myself that things would get better, that I should hold on, because no matter how tough things are back home... It'll get better."

"Vix!" Shiron answered right away. "She's nice, my first friend here! There's also Saltriv. I'm... Gonna miss them."

"Starting with the big questions, huh?" Shiron blinked. Well, at least it wasn't a hard question. "This is gonna sound real sappy, but I value my friends. The friends I've made here. They made me think that I'm actually worth something, y'know? That I mean something to them. That's... really...

Shiron waved back, sitting down. "H-Hi! Y-yeah, I'm here for my interview... uh, if you don't mind, of course."

Shiron got inside the library, chirping excitedly. He never even expected to get an interview, but now that it was happening he couldn't contain his excitement for it. "...Well, this has to be fun. I hope it's fun. Hah..." he gulped, eagerly waiting.

Shiron nodded again, waving at him. "Best of luck for you, too! And lemme know if you wanna do something later, gotta enjoy the time, eh?" <><><><><><><><><><><>

"Pretty much," he nodded. "Maybe some action-packed story, that kinda thing, if you catch my drift. Thanks for the tip!"

"...And here I was hoping to find a comic book or something like that," Shiron rubbed the back of his head, chuckling.

"Maybe, but I can't really pretend that I understand this thing entirely," Shiron said, taking a look at the book. "What're you reading, by the way?"

"That seems to be what everyone tells me." Shiron deadpanned. "Guess only time will tell, just gotta enjoy this while I can."

Shiron nodded. "The power, yes, but compared to my home, I'm allowed to do... way more stuff here. Hell, I didn't even have friends back there! Or a loving family."

"Fair point," Shiron shrugged. "I guess I'm just enjoying the freedom I never really had... if that makes sense."

Shiron nodded, following him into the room. "It's been a ride. And I haven't even been here from the start! I... honestly, I'm probably gonna miss this place. And being a hero, too."

"Oh, neat!" Shiron took a quick look at the book and smiled. "Same here, hopefully I get to remember my friends... everyone here is so nice!"

While distracted by all the books, Shiron didn't hear the footsteps. Not at first. "Hm?" Shiron paid attention again, now noticing the Charizard and giving him a friendly wave. "Oh, hi Owen! I'm pretty good myself, kinda wanted to read something... what about you?"

For someone who liked reading a lot, he never came to the library before. Granted, now that he was inside... the place seemed lovely. "Neat spot, but I still have no clue what to read..." He made a mental note to shush himself, not wanting to talk loudly inside a library.
