Koa paused, half ready to launch some attack of his own at this point, though he doubted any of his powers could help. Though he couldn't help but be shocked by Slatri'vs frantic cry. Accept it? That sounded insane, but hadn't Saltriv's family back home saved the world, or something like that...

"We could-" Koa stopped short as the Marstomp threw a pokeball at it. He tensed, wonder if it would work. From his bag, he readied a protect orb. At the very least, if the pokeball didn't work, they could try an orb and maybe lock it in some kind of barrier.

Koa frowned at the ball of energy. "Anyone... Home in there?" he called, though he remained attentive. He still was expecting some kind of trick. A shame he didn't have Brisa's eyes or Dave's nose for things. He flicked his ears back and forth, wondering if the thing would try to speak again...

Hana found herself nodding more and more as the Houndoom spoke. "You know, I like the way you think. Good dog-" she paused and chuckled awkwardly. "-er... Can I call you that?" either way she generally agreed with her, she seemed very perceptive.
