    I like the text "Ignis Aurum Probat" it sounds cool! Due to me knowing a little bit of latin, i know Ignis means Fire and i'm decently sure Aurum means Gold. Could you translate it for me?

    I don't know any Latin myself, so I can only go with what the internet says about this one. But it's from a quote attributed to Seneca, "Ignis aurum probat, miseria fortes viros." Supposedly that means something like, "As fire tempers gold, so does adversity temper strong men." So ignis aurum probat would be something like "fire tests/tempers gold."

    For whatever reason, not many pokémon seem to come in fives! Plenty of trios and quartets, and a few out at around seven or so, but five was a stumper.

    Heyo Negrek - I saw your new tagline! My Kanji knowledge is super rusty, but I recognize "morning", "3", and "4"... had to consult Jisho for the third one.

    It seems to translate to "3 mornings, 4 evenings", at least literally, but I'm guessing it's actually a metaphor?

    It's not Kanji! It's a kind of Chinese idiom called a chengyu. It does mean "three in the morning, four in the evening" and refers to a story about monkeys having different numbers of bananas in morning and evening. It's used to mean that something is always changing; for example, it can be used to describe somebody who can never make up their mind.

    Ahaha, I enjoy playing around with game features like that. Probably some of the tropes are just old at this point... the fanfic scene was very different when it was written, so it's responding to a different environment than modern stories.
