Hide thread from new threads list?

Is there any way to completely prevent a certain thread from appearing in the new posts list? I checked the dropdown on the top right, but nothing seemed to do what I wanted.

When you say "new posts list," do you mean the "Latest posts" widget on the front page of the forums?

There is actually one cumbersome way: ignore the thread creator and it won't show up. Naturally, it's extreme to ignore someone over a thread there, and you can only do that if they're not staff, so it's not perfect. But it technically works.

Though if you meant making one of your own threads not showing up there or your posts from popping something up, yeah, no way to keep it off the list.
