Review Blitz Prep ver.2024

I would like to use this blitz to review and continue reading some other fics I had started during the year...

I've been reading lots of Hands of Creation so I would like to review some chapters there (not from the start though lol. Both because I figure that it's less useful to receive the 13657th review of the first few chapters written ages ago and because I've read so much going back to the first few would be a bit strange)

Weeks 2:
Most of my i.p.are revisited tales anyway so try to process those here. Also unstuck review tag If that hasn't happened yet.

Weeks 3-4:
Attempt to review everyone in the self hype section? Also I need to square up a few chapters of delirous' work.

Some great goals people have put together this year!

I've tended to run between 20 and 25 reviews in a Blitz. Since real life has been really kicking my ass lo these past four months and doesn't show any sign of stopping, I think aiming for a solid 20 this year is a good goal. Impressive enough just to make that, tbh.

As far as what I'd like to read, I will of course be doing my annual catch-up on Places We Call Home, Once a Thief, and Broken Things.

Other than that, I need to catch up on What the Gods Gave Me, and I really want to read Just Hold Still, too! White Swan, Black Swan and The Imitation Game are both fics that I'd like to make at least a little progress on, if I can't catch up entirely.

And that should be plenty for me, goals-wise! My preference for long chaptered fics definitely sits in tension with wanting to sample a whole lot of authors! I have a number of other targets to hit for one-shots or for reviews on a smaller number of chapters... we'll see how it goes.
