Upcoming Forum Features
This post provides an overview of planned forum features and a rough order of priority/when they might happen. If you have any questions about future plans, feel free to ask, or to suggest new ones. Feedback is always welcome--if you're particularly excited about any of these (or really really NOT excited about any of them), saying so will help us better prioritize what we're working on.
Pre-Launch

- Classic threads: intro thread, feedback thread, review tag, etc.
- Discord server
- Basic extensions (improve moderation system, Discord integration, etc.)
Short Term Post-Launch
- Fic metadata: cover images, genres, characters, etc.
- Integrate metadata with forum UI (e.g. see summary without having to click on thread)
- Provide more ways to interact with fics, e.g. favs/follows, reading lists
Long Term Post-Launch
- Improved search system: searching/filtering by multiple terms, exclusions, etc.
- Integrate with fic rec engine: automatic add to rec index, "read similar stories" links on fics in archive
- Badge/rewards system
- User rank system
Possible Distant Future
- Import stories from FFN, AO3, Wattpad
