Rocky Road ~ House of Diyem, Eien, Mellow, and Toast

[Fusion]

Puddle honestly wasn't paying attention during the meeting in the Lobby, and after Vix went to leave, everything after was just a blur. But Puddle could vaguely swear that it remembered someone saying something about eggs... and Puddle itself telling Diyem that it was gonna tell on him. None of it made sense, but it made the Scraggy snicker nonetheless.

It took a while to find Diyem's place, but it just so happened to be Mellow's place, so it was a lot easier to find than Puddle thought. Mostly... the time was thanks to those dumb, short, stubby legs.

Considering it's body to not really be able to knock, Puddle carried a big stick, and whacked it against the door.

Or tried to... it was more like a twig, first of all, and it broke on the first swing.

"Oh fo-- Diyem! Could ya open up for a second, I uh... wanna talk," Puddle called out. "About stuff... and things..."

Cynthian arrived at the doorsteps of the house Mellow lived in. She held a basket in hand and had it filled with several colorful flowers as well as seeds of plant varieties that caught her eye. Mellow might like them perhaps, and it was always nice to bring gifts when paying someone a visit.

She straightened out the aquamarine bow around her neck. It seemed appropriate for the occasion, though in reality she'd made it the night before and just wanted to try it out at least once.

The bell rang a jingle with a press of a button beside the door. Cynthian withdrew her vine and stood prim and proper with a friendly smile.

Nate picked his way carefully along the path up to the house Diyem had taken to haunting, now that they'd managed to pry him away from the tree of life. He was still getting the hang of walking, but at least he hadn't fallen down on the way over here.

There wasn't any way to guess, looking at it from the street, that anybody noteworthy was living here. Aside from the place being fucking huge, anyway. It was weird to think of Diyem living in a normal house on a normal street, doing... normal things. Even weirder that he was rooming with Mellow. What would it even be like to have the fucking, like, lord of all evil and negativity for a roommate? That honestly sounded like a nightmare. He probably never did his fucking chores.

Nate knocked on the door--knocking was easier now, of all the random fucking things. "Diyem? You around?" he called.

With how large Diyem's home was, it made for an appropriate gathering place for their new mission.

"Mm. So, this will be some of you... And you." He stared at the other Charizard in the room--Red, along with his pocket of Pokemon, and a Pikachu on his shoulder. "You intend to go to my Voidlands. You understand the risks involved in this?"

Red nodded, but he also trusted Diyem.

"Rrrgh... Disgusting." He addressed the others. "And you as well, then. You will have an advantage against him in this domain, but it will still be a risk. If something goes wrong, I will be pulling you back out."

On the days that followed, Diyem and Eien took the time to recover as well as they could. The moon's orbit was strange, but it wasn't in the sky for the time being, and the pair occasionally went flying together in the skies. It apparently helped Eien better acclimate to the atmosphere of whatever planet she visited, when she had the opportunity.

But now, they were resting at home. Finally, Diyem's foresight--and perhaps, a rare sense of optimism--paid off, and the gigantic home was just large enough to handle Eien's suppressed form's presence.

Saltriv ran towards Diyem's house as fast as they could. He could help, right? He had to. This couldn't be the end for Dill! It just couldn't!
