Rocky Road ~ House of Diyem, Eien, Mellow, and Toast

Saltriv looked over at Eien as they hugged Dill. If authority was the issue, then maybe...

"Eien...you're an Overseer, right? Can...can you save Dill?" they asked.

 

[Sudmensch]

Dill looked back up, blinking as his hopes pricked back up.

 

[Namohysip]

"I'm... not really an Overseer in the true sense, I'm only affiliated with them," Eien said gently, her huge body lowering to the ground. "Still, Diyem, if the circumstances are extreme enough... It isn't as if they're totally rigid. Can't we try something?"

"Mmmngh. We cannot, after what stunts we've already pulled. Still..." He sighed. "Perhaps the one you actually want to talk to is Bean."

 

[IFBench]

Saltriv's eyes widened, and a glimmer of hope sparkled within them.

There was hope still yet.

"Thank you!" they exclaimed.

 

[Sudmensch]

Dill stood up in a hurry, his eyes widening.

"I... o-okay, alright! Okay!"

 

[Namohysip]

"Good luck," Diyem muttered, turning around. "He's the Zygarde. He is difficult to miss if you walk around town. I'm not in the mood to speak with him. Your words should be enough to get an answer."

 

[IFBench]

"Ok!" Saltriv said, beginning to let go of Dill. "Let's go see Bean!"

They began walking towards the door, with renewed vigor.

They'd save Dill from his fate.

 

[Sudmensch]

Still unsure what to think from this rollercoaster of emotions, Dill nodded and tromped towards the door by Saltriv's side.

All he could hope was that cheating death was one of the many things he could do in this world.
