Basic personality: Bright-eyed, helpful, a little insecure, and surprisingly wise. Essentially the Sun Arcana if you played Persona games.

Small talk: "So... Do you read any comics? ...You don't know what comics are? Er, um, okay, how about fighting? Do you fight? Oh! You do!" His flame immediately doubled in size. "How about maybe we fight right now? What? Well yeah, we just had lunch, but why's that a problem?"

Pensive at night: "Oh, I'm okay, sorry. No, I had dinner a while ago. I was just thinking again. I got more of my memories back." His flame was dim, but he didn't look very willing to go into detail about why. The way his claws fidgeted with each other were like the thoughts swirling in his head. "Do you ever wonder if you're letting a past self down? ...Sorry, weird question."

About to battle: "Alright!" Owen crouched down, fire welling up in his chest. "Let's do this, guys! This guy has a lot of bulk but maybe that means he can't hit hard! ...O-okay, never mind, Nip's down, he can hit hard! He--" The rest of Owen's words were cut off in a crushed wheeze, a massive fist slamming him into the ground.

Extra Move & Justification: Miracle Eye, which in Blacklight also allows him to see and announce enemy HP and other potentially useful information. Justification: In his world, Owen has extremely strong perceptive abilities, and can ‘see’ much more than the average fighter can in battle. Also, as the Dungeon Master Player Character (DMPC), it's appropriate that he's the team's tattle fairy.

Round 0
Diyem summons Owen, alone, in an attempt to stem the crisis immediately. He doesn't seem to have much confidence in the result.
Owen battles the Magikarp to save the day!

Round 1
After Owen's loss against the Magikarp on his own, he was taken to recover in Treasure Town, where the team finds him without his memories.
Night falls, and the team settles into their new lives...
The next day, Owen and the team woke up to find that the Magikarp had become two, and now they were both rampaging forward!
Things were getting desperate. The team ransacks a few shops to find equipment to fight! They'll... pay back later.
While some of the team has some internal friction, Owen tries to strategize on how to defeat the Magikarp.
Owen takes some time to train with Dave who, as a human, was not as familiar with his new, canine body.
Cabot and Owen have a brief training together, but they later find Soda and depart...
Cabot and Owen's training continues uninterrupted.
Cooking!
After a dangerous encounter with Darkwhite in the evening, Maple comes to rescue with Owen and a few others on the team.
While settling in, Owen continues to help others get comfortable with some food and snacks.
Owen listens in and partakes in a discussion about gods and legends.
Finally, with everything prepared, the team battles against the two Magikarp and set off.


Round 2
It was difficult, perhaps a narrow victory, but the team managed to pull it off and reappeared at the Crossroads...
After their success against Sushi and Sashimi and saving Treasure Town, the team recovers...
After some recovery, the team goes to investigate the impact site where Sushi and Sashimi had attacked.
After Team Spice's location was discovered, the team also happens upon strange lumps that had been at the impact site of the Magikarp battle. The team also comes up with native food names to better blend into the crowd.
There was some awkwardness around it, but they did buy some TMs for the team... legally.
Time to hunt for slugs!
The team takes some time to investigate around town for more Shades--strange parasites that can corrupt those that they enter.
A mysterious entity known as Darkwhite makes an appearance--a strange, corrupted Mew, who taunts and torments the team from within Wigglytuff's Guild...
Owen and the others have a great challenge... to devour as much curry as they possibly can.
After Darkwhite leaves, Owen and Cabot consult Chatot for ways to possibly augment their fighting abilities... by changing Abilities.
Owen, Brisa, and a few others check on Surf and Turf, having a talk about human heritage along the way.
Eventually, the team heads out to battle (and free) Team Spice from their corruption.


Round 3
Shortly after Team Spice was rescued, Maple, the leader of the "God Squad" offers to grant power to the team in the form of Radiance. Owen seems familiar with the sensation, for some reason...
Owen spars with Cabot again... but something happens after his Radiance is awakened and his body turns to the Grass type. It awakens his memories... Owen was never the same after that.
During some investigations, they happen upon a heavily corrupted Rattata and try to beat the corruption out of it.
In the evening, Darkwhite attacks Celeste and several others show up to save him.
Afterward, Owen and Bahamut have a chat at the beach.
Maple sends an alert that they found Darkwhite; Owen and the others gather to prepare for departure.
Battle vs. Shadow Lugia - Darkwhite does a dance with Lugia. A dance of death. Against the party. It's not too hard. Afterward, the Trench collapses, becoming flooded and inaccessible, reclaimed by the ocean.

Round 4
After the battle against Lugia, the team escapes the Silver Trench and gathers their bearings. Upon realizing that some people on the team went missing, Owen helps to lead the charge to find them with his Perceive, but turns up nothing.
Owen, Brisa, and Icetales have some battlefield practice on the beach.
Later still, Maple calls for some people to leave on a mission to investigate the Hidden Land. Owen seems unsure, but follows along...
As it turns out, the meeting was to interrogate the team about Diyem. However, the team does not disclose anything about Dark Matter's true identity.
At a briefing in the Guild, it's revealed that Team Colada is now missing after having gone to Shaymin Village. Could something have gone wrong...?
Diyem, meanwhile, finally admits to his true self--Dark Matter--and Owen is surprised like the rest of the team. Still, for some reason, he seems quick to defend him...
Cynthian reacts particularly badly to this, and Owen helps to talk things through privately.
Owen and Bahamut are on a walk near Treasure Town and chat with Maple, though Bahamut goes through some particularly dramatic changes from it...
Chip, a lead scientist from abroad, makes some new discoveries about the Shades. Just what could it all mean?
The team confronts Shaymin Village, which had become heavily corrupted...

Round 5
After that encounter with the Shadow Machine, Owen deals with a curious manifestation while Curio inspects it all the same.
Owen and Brisa discover a mutual interest in going wild against each other... in battle.
The team is brought to Destiny Village, where they meet the Guild!
The team settles into Destiny Village for their new home for the rest of their mission. As part of settling in, Owen has a talk with Bahamut while looking through the dorms.
Somehow, though, it seems that Dave and Owen wind up as roommates.
Owen and Nate talk in the training rooms.
During some downtime, Owen talks with Brisa and Dave about everything going on.
Maple calls everyone in to prepare for departure. Apparently, Darkwhite made her move in the Hidden Land...
The team throws down against a corrupted Creation Trio!
Just as it seems like they were about to win, however, a corrupted Necrozma appears and turns the tables. The rest of the fight continues in the Reverse World...

Round 6
After a horrid fight with revelations of Team Rocket's interference, the team reconvenes at Destiny Tower.
During some exercising, Ultra Shades begin to hatch. Owen wonders if his own will manifest, too.
Festivities as Icetales launches a party!
Owen, Cal, and Wishkeeper have a chat with Icetales after the party.
The team investigates a spot where there appeared to be a Hyper Beam explosion thanks to Rayquaza...
Owen and the others learn about Telum, the world Maple was supposed to protect.
The team prepares for a battle against Rayquaza.
The team has a devastating battle against Rayquaza in the Air Continent.

Round 7
After apprehending Shield and Rayquaza, they interrogate him on just what had gotten into his strange little head.
Quite stubborn, Rayquaza with Shield and the others demand a rematch in the Colosseum...
Not long after defeating Rayquaza, the team goes off to investigate the abandoned Rocket hideout.
But when they return, the things they brought back were indicators of some grave news...
After seeing Maple in a bad state, Owen and the others follow along to see how Maple was in the Northern Pines, finding a place to decompress...
Shortly after defeating Rayquaza, they also discover a team of six Pokemon that seems to belong to Silver... some of the team oversees reuniting Cosmog, who answers to Silver, with that team.
Owen and Cino have a talk about Cino's memories.
The team battles against Darkwhite and Ho-Oh this time. But things seem to go horribly wrong...

Round 8
After defeating Darkwhite, they manage to, briefly, purify her. They try to find a way to get her better in Revelation Mountain, but before they can, they get some terrible news...
They quickly return to Destiny Village to try to subdue the chaos.
As it turns out, Owen had been messed with overnight for many nights. Leg liked to use him as a plaything, though it seemed to increase his power...
Suddenly, Destiny Tower is attacked by a Charizard! Owen is quickly the prime suspect... but very clever thinking from the team quickly proves his innocence.
Owen and Bahamut have a talk with... Kyurem?
Bahamut eventually returned to the Guild, and Cal and Owen were there to greet him.
Mellow, Icetales, and Owen have a chat about spies.
More investigations are done at the Isle of Light with the help of Maple and Owen's Perceive.
Ivy and Owen as a Grassmander have some idle chatter.
The team has their usual briefing for departure for Giovanni's suspected location.
The team hastily arrives to confront Giovanni and the Radiant Machine, but what they find is something even more...

Round 9
Diyem is recovering after some terrible Radiance. The team checks on him. It's hard to tell if this makes things better or worse.
And suddenly, even after their victory, things get terribly worse back in Destiny Village.
Dave and Owen have a talk about Shadows.
Owen, Cal, and Brisa have some apocalypse training in the colosseum.
Not long after, Cynthian and Owen do some training next.
Cal, Owen, and Starr have a talk about memories, and what it means to remember oneself.
The team gathers for how to take down Joule. He was quite possibly their most dangerous opponent ever, in terms of his raw power...
The battle against Joule reaches a tipping point within the Reverse World, where Owen and Cal, as well as several others, become separated...

Round 10
Joule's power was devastating, and Arceus had been prepared to put everything on the line... But even then, he was a calculating god. They found his final contingency left in his tower.
Along with that, they investigated Pop's journal, which had left some information behind. A little awkward, since they ended up saving him...
After Joule's devastating attacks, the team begins to look into ways to bring them back from within Diyem. They seek out Xerneas in the Tree of Life to see how he is doing...
Those who have fallen found themselves someplace strange.
Meanwhile, in Diyem's Voidlands, the fallen from the battle against Joule wake up in a dark, dark realm...
Meanwhile, Owen and Dave have a chat about being dead.
Along with that, Owen has a moment within the Voidlands where he must confront a more tangible Wishkeeper, and nearly loses himself in the process.
Cal and Luz talk about identity.
And, indeed, they were eventually able to get it all working. Owen and Cal were reunited.
Once again, the team is left tending to a recovering Diyem.
Cal accompanies some of the team to discuss how to find Giovanni with Pine and Nanab, since he landed somewhere in their continent.
The team goes to Moonlit Forest to search for Giovanni after some tips about corruption and where he had been blasted away after Joule's unstable retaliation.
Diyem calls for Owen and the team to gather in secret at the Northern Pines to discuss just how they are going to tackle the Tree of Life, and if they should tell Maple...
Later, Cal and Bahamut have a chat in those same pines.
And then, they got some suddenly shocking news... That Giovanni had already been defeated. But how?
Ultimately, though, the team discovers that the true person who had subdued Giovanni after his plans went awry... was another human hero of another world. And now, he seeks to fight.

Round 11
In an effort to discover more information about the spies, Owen goes with an investigative team to Aegis Cave to see if the Regis had left behind any information about their captors...
The team deals with the aftermath of Giovanni's defeat in the infirmary.
Owen, Dave, Koa, and Brisa move in to their proper lodgings!
Maple reveals her true form to Team Spectrum.
Owen and Brisa meet in the park, where Brisa finds Owen in a slightly more unhinged state.
Cal goes with Luz to see what Zeraora is like in this world, to gain some insight on what it means to be what Luz had mimicked.
Cal accompanies the team in another investigation in the Reverse World to gain more information about the strange corruption flowing through the world.
Cal's investigation leads them to the very core of the Reverse World...
Sombra and Wishkeeper have a talk with one another at night, both being Shadows of their hosts...
Owen and a few Mist Continent natives and Team Spectrum search for Darkwhite in areas they suspect are high in corruption, such as the Worldcore...
and indeed, once they find Darkwhite and pinpoint their location, they infiltrate the Worldcore to free her.

Round 12
Joule is restored completely! It was probably better when he wasn't.
Cal accompanies Luz in the Spirits' Edge to find the Wandering Light of a faraway world... And not long after, Cal leaves to find someone else important to her. The one she was based on.
Soda and Cola have a talk while Owen and the others watch things pan out...
Cal broods in the park and is found by Ivy.
Owen and Dave go to meet Bean to see his true nature.
Later, Owen and Cal have a talk about memories and who Cal is based on...
Diyem was starting to act strangely, not to mention constantly hanging around Xerneas and the Tree of Life. Very unlike him. Owen and Mellow go to investigate...
Meanwhile, Cal investigates and confronts Maple about her true form.
The team plunges into the Tree of Life to strike at the source of the Blacklight corruption, and have to fight through a corrupted Diyem to do it.

Round 13
Owen accompanies Icetales and Koa in meeting one of the former's siblings in a faraway world.
Brisa chats with Owen after the talk with Zekrom, admitting that Wishkeeper's words had been audible all that time.
Bahamut investigates Owen's mindscape to see if there are any possible issues the Blacklight may have implanted.
Cal and Raven have some familiar smalltalk.
Owen and Brisa have a chat about ideals.
Owen and Mellow chat in the crossroads.
Later, Owen and Nate talk about secrets in Pasta Plaza as well.
And just after, Diyem is informed of the same, and calls for a check on everyone else just in case.
The team's fight against Maple crossed two realms., but Owen and Cal were battling in the Radiant Tree, only catching glimpses into what took place within the corrupted Maple's realm...
Meanwhile, Owen and Bahamut take things up in the surface.

Round 14
They managed to save Maple, and so they return with her to the Guild. There was a lot to talk about.
During that time, they also approach Diyem to see if there is a way for the absorbed spirit of Blacklight Mewtwo to be saved, and put a risky plan into action.
Cal and Bahamut have a bit of a heart to heart, where Cal expresses a desire to help Bahamut. There is an odd kinship, for some reason.
Owen and Brisa have a chat at home.
Mia and Owen chat about fighting and being a battleheart. They seem to, on some level, relate to one another.
Owen catches up with Cuicatl to see how she is doing, being a Dragon and all.
The team prepares to leave, equipped with Sword and Shield temporarily becoming Zacian and Zamazenta.
After being attacked while flying toward the Tree of Life, Owen finds Cal, twisted by Eterna corrupted, trying to keep him in this strange realm for eternity. It doesn't last long, and Owen and Cal have a heart to heart, recognizing that this twisted fate stemmed from Cal's fears.
After talking things out with Cal, they find Diyem to defeat Eien proper.

Round 15
And indeed, Team Spectrum pulls off another miracle, and next to their rescued crew was Eien, the once corrupted mate of Diyem.
Bahamut spends some time lying in the middle of the road for some reason. Owen and Cal have a chat about it.
Cal and Luz explore Pasta Plaza, slowly coming to accept Cibus as their true home.
Preparations for battle...
The team has everything in place. As far as they could tell, it was time to take down the Blacklight once and for all... and hopefully save Soda from it at the same time. It was time to go to the moon.

Round 16
After saving Soda, the the team goes to have a picnic in the Lush Prairie, but the team has a surprise visit from a team that's very similar to theirs...
Cal has a talk with Dill about his afterlife prospects.
Owen has a chat with Koa about what it means to be a trainer with ambitions.
Owen and Dave have a chat about nihilism.
Owen and Cuicatl have a chat on the beach.
In his efforts to see how everyone else is doing, Owen and Shiron have a chat about what they will be doing when they return home.
Now, Bahamut has to deal with TWO Owens!
Owen and Vix chat in the Pines.
The battle between the Miracle Matters and Team Spectrum goes down!

Round 17
Owen has... a chat with Aria and Ben, trying to impersonate his double. It fails.
Owen and Seyka have... a conversation.
Owen and Brisa, at rest, chat about their final moments on Cibus.
"Owen" and Brisa also have a chat...
Owen battles Pita and Nutmeg with the help of Brisa and Starr.
Owen battles Team Colada... solo.
It was time to go. One last time, Team Spectrum and perhaps all of the world's superpowers gathered together to save Cibus...
The portal opens.
And they battle The Eternal Blacklight...

Epilogue
(Miracle) Owen and Mergo have a chat in the training facility!
Owen and Starr talk about the value of memories, good and bad.
Owen and Nate have a talk about resolutions and growth, and how Nate needs to do some about his shadow.
In the final battle in the Colosseum, Owen, Brisa, and Astrid battle against the very announcer, who might be one of the hardest fighters there...
Owen, Cal, Brisa, and Luz are on the beach, where some things had all come full circle. Everything seemed peaceful and wrapped up; they'd done all they could. They were about ready to go.
Cal has a talk with her new, big brother, Bahamut.
And so, when everything is all said and done, every goodbye made, every loose end tied or left astray... Team Spectrum finally says goodbye.

Basic personality: A bit standoffish at first, Nip can be a bit hesitant to make connections with others, struggling to trust them. But once he has, he can be loyal to a fault.

Basic personality: Cynthian is a relatively shy dude though it doesn't take much for him to open up to others. He wants to find courage and determination to push himself forward. Cynthian wants to be brave, and being part of a collective effort in saving the world sounds like a step in the right direction;

RP notes: When it comes to non-plot group scenes, i'd rather only be in scenes of only up to three characters with mine included. Basically scene hijacking isn't something i'm remotely fond of.

RP notes: I'm mostly open to anything, although scenes without a planned point in mind/a general direction are going to be a bit of a harder sell for me. My character has a traumatic backstory involving a graphic death, so if that gets brought up content warnings for death and blood. At no point do I plan to go into gruesome detail with it, though. I'm also not really comfortable RPing scenes with sexual references/innuendos/undertones.

Extra Move & Justification: Ember. Justification: As part of her aspirations to become an explorer, Tricky manually trained herself to use fire earlier than others of her species. Wait, What Did You Mean “Technically”? Oh, jeez. Okay, well, so. Mira is technically much older than 34. She has lived multiple lives, and each time one of those lives comes to an end, she starts again. The world she comes from is a place filled to bursting with magics of many kinds, including the sort of magic that those seeking immortality might be tempted to try. Only, the magic that holds Mira in the realm of the living is imperfect. True, she does not “die” in the strictest sense of the word, but each new life is devoid of the memories and experiences she accumulated in the preceding ones. Unfortunately, her new selves are still beholden to the consequences of the less savory decisions she made in lives past. One such consequence caught up with her right as Diyem called out, and those words fell upon her soul laid bare. It is unclear which self answered that call, but the answer came in a moment of great fear, at her most vulnerable. And all of her agreed to run from that feeling.

Basic Personality: Mira has been many things and acted in many ways, but there are a few commonalities that crop up the most regardless of which life she leads. She is a pragmatic person, focused on the needs of the present and how to achieve them. Unfortunately, she can sometimes be prone to giving less consideration for individuals, losing sight of the trees for the forest. She’s also very inquisitive, and seeks knowledge in what could be described as a relentless manner. This, unfortunately, also extends to curiosity about things that some might consider personal, and she has sometimes been referred to as invasive. In spite of that, (or perhaps because of it) she is also very good at identifying the strengths and weaknesses of others, and often can’t resist thinking about how best to use those qualities to achieve things. Does this make her incapable of seeing others as people in their own right, rather than means to an end? No, but it certainly doesn’t help. She’s the sort of person who needs to be nudged back from the potentially problematic extremes of her own tendencies. She is persistent, but not immovable.

Roleplay Notes: I’m a fairly open roleplayer. I enjoy writing across a wide variety of topics and genres, so I wouldn’t say there’s anything especially out of bounds for me. Extra Move Justification: In her most recent life, Mira served in a penitent capacity for one of the kingdoms she had wronged so thoroughly in a previous life, working as a field physician in their military. During her time in that role, she witnessed many horrible things on the battlefield, including the furthest extremes of just how much a human can take and still be put back together. Though she never considered herself a healer in any life prior, her most recent experiences have left perhaps the heaviest impact on her soul.

Thematically Appropriate RP-Only Move: Metronome. Rather than using this in a combat capacity, I thought it would be interesting if I applied this strictly to Mira’s characterization. Given her background as someone who has led many lives, I figured it could be a fun component of the roleplay to have Metronome manifest in a character-specific way. When under a particularly high degree of stress, or pain, or pressure of some other kind, there is a chance that Metronome will kick in and randomly call forth one of Mira’s other selves. You might be surprised at just how different a person can be from one life to the next.

Formerly Human? Yes, and from the real world

Basic personality: Ashwood is boisterous and outgoing and would like to be your friend. They're usually good-natured, but it's possible to flare their temper. They have poor impulse control and a bit of a stubborn streak. Pokemon was their favorite game growing up and they're psyched to finally be isekai'd. They may not be taking this seriously.

I don't reaaaaaaally have an interest in RPing, though I might pop in once or twice? I also can't fathom using one of my existing characters out of context--for me character is story is character is story, and I don't think any of my characters would work well without their supporting cast. So, here's a brand new one, just for Blacklight. You've got my full blessing to use this little bean as an NPC.

Character name: Parmelia

Basic personality: grouchy, but helpful. "OMG, you got hurt again? Sigh, come here and let me put some plant goo on it to heal it." Resents being short.

Pokémon Species: shroomish

She comes from a long line of druidic, witchy brelooms. She wants to follow in her foremother's footsteps and master healing spells and plant stuff ... but first she has to evolve so she's tall enough to reach those high shelves where all the Real Magic is kept. So, a-journeying she goes.

Starting build: Hex / strike / boon / heal / shield

Talents: Choose up to three from: HP / Stamina / Attack / Magic / Defense / Resistance

Weaknesses: Defense and resistance? IDK, fam

RP notes: Put anything here that has to do with your preferences when roleplaying, such as content you aren’t keen on interacting with, so other players can be aware of them. If you yourself know that you have a tendency toward common content warnings, it may be wise to put those here (or, depending on how intense they are, avoid doing so during Blacklight / tone it down.)
